need clarification about the NVC require documents

hi, i was reading about the Pre-NVC / Preparing Documents Before NVC Processing. i want to start collecting document, my first question is, my SO reside in nigeria, how can he goes about obtaining the Police Clearance Certificate and the medical when the time reach for him to submit the documents. Do the the embassy sent him or does he makes his own appontment.
Secondly, when the time reaches, the Marriage certificate, birth certificate, Police Certificate; passport biographic page are all these documents mail to NVC or are the documents present to the CO during the interview? if the original documents are mail, do the CO return the the original birth and marriage certificate?
anybody who have knowledge about this can help, but i really want someone who went through the visa process in nigeria to respond.

Please never ever send your original documents to anyone. Copies should suffice with the original seals. Always send copies and not the originals. The embassy will send him a notice of when to get the police certificate, and to come for his appointment.

HI, Just want to let you know that I only went over once, and well if my time and that was sufficient enough. Sorry I only show up so late. I work a crazy job that does not allow me to get to computer too often. Then I babysit (supervise) a particular group of noisy ppl that would not make it such a pleasure for me.

I told you guys I have several part time jobs. Trying to pay for the house and the increase in gas rates are ridiculous.

My father has moved in state and in with me. A friend who will wed in June has moved in with her daughter and pooch. So I went from total quietness to every thing from 2 other bedrooms all into my bedroom. I do not mind because I worked so much I only sleep at the house.

Other than all that I am patiently waiting for my honey to get here.

Hi everyone,

I guess you can see, I like hanging out in your forum. I did not read everything but, I wanted to comment on the colonics. I have had them done. They are wonderful. They work best when you go to someone who can help you determine what is the best way to keep you healthy. The benefits are great. Bread, Flour or dough type of products cause more problems. Mainly bloating. I even talked a male coworker into getting them. You will see improvements in skin because of the toxins that are being removed.
When you have time to at home and want your own spa detox. Use 2 cups of epsom salt, 1/3 cup of peroxide, 1 cup of baking soda, A couple of drops of essential oil for aromatherapy. Get the water as hot as you can stand it. Sit in for about 20 min. After this bath you will sleep very good, Just remember to drink lots of water. Because you will sweat and it is detox. There are various nutritional supplements you will want to get while maintaining a weight program, because unfortunately our fruits and veges today are being produced in soils that are depleted of so many necessary minerals. So we have to add back what our body does not store.

Please make sure the person who does your colonic is certified. And sanitary.

I have studied some herbology, (not that kind) and nutritional supplements. Along with massage therapy. So I hope I can help someone out if needed.

I will be sure to go ahead and resubmit everything and yes I have copies and will make copy of my original postal envelope that was sent back to me as well. Hi I am new, to this site. I need to know what to do. I finally received a response after filing for my so to come to US as a fiance. My point is I sent the packet to California Service Ctr and I am in Illinois. The response that was sent that it was the wrong service center. I called the 800 number and was told it was just a human error. What a response!!! I was told to resubmit as if it was the first time all over again. Does anyone agree and/or been through this scenerio.

Hi All

I get in later in the day and enjoy reading up on things. Honestly so much info has helped me. Comments on the space thing had me laughing. I have been going over this for a while. I am a pack rat. My nosey neighbors wanted to know why one person wanted so much house, my comment was I needed space for my self. My sweetie states that we are so used to having big spaces. I never had to share anything as a child and went into the army so that I could learn to work and share as a team. I find that we both like our quiet times, I find we are similar in that area.

I do suggest ladies that we all take time to reconsider our learned behaviors (argumentive ways) and be grateful that we are not dealing with men who like drama, or will keep drama going with us. So let us not start useless arguements. It is really unhealthy and so much negative energy. It is just not worth it. Spend time doing something more worthwhile.

A little pick-me-up

While in Senegal my sweetie prepared breakfast each morning, at various times I felt like a child when we were out on the roads. But once I got back home and though things over I realized how helpful he was. Funny how we become so immune to help or companionship and when it shows up we can not accept it. I did let him know that I was thankful to all his attentiveness while I was there and even when we are on web cams. I hope this remains for all of us that makes this journey.

I have been independent for a long time taking care of myself and doing things for myself. I am also the oldest sibling and used to being responsible and no nonesense and stuff like that. My fiance, on the other hand, has older and younger siblings. He was the youngest child for some time and so he got spoiled a little. I thought of another Bassi story when I was reading your post. Bassi checks on me a lot and like you it's different because I've been the caretaker for so long. I've never had my own caretaker. But if I call Bassi from the car, he CHASTIZES me! I LOVE IT!! It always always always makes me smile. He has a near heart attack that I'm talking while driving and do I know how dangerous that is and is the baby in the car and what's so important that you can't wait until you get where you're going and on and on and on. It's so sweet. He gets so upset. Even if he's the one that called me...because I shouldn't have answered if I was driving.

I explained that I am wearing a headset (cause it's the law). He doesn't care. It's too dangerous. I get chewed out every time and I love it so much that I call him when I'm in the car just so he can "yell" at me. It's love.

Same here, I think he thinks the traffic is crazy like in Sierra Leone.

Real Talk

I did not experience anything first hand in Senegal. I was expecting it and rather nervous before going. My guy told me I would not have any problems. I went and got my hair done twice while there. I do not speak french or the senegalese language anyway He stayed the whole time. I do notice in one picture we took some lady is looking a little crazy. This was on a boat going to Goree Is. Anyway all the people were very accepting at the engagement party and bought gifts.

Here in America, yea I was grilled from past to present friends. It started with the black male coworkers. Oh so black men are not good enough for you. What the Heck Is He, I asked. Then, it was He will not let you wear shoes, they treat their women second class, you are going to have to walk behind him. First of all these guys are older, former Armed Services but I am their supervisor and we are all pretty cool. I told them just like I told a few close girlfriends When you name what the american man has not done to me yet, then I will listen. Other than that this twice divorced does not want to hear it. OH Yeah my ex Husband commented Those guys like to keep lots of women around them. (I will not tell why I kicked him to the curb). But anyway, I am so happy I did not listen to any of the naysayers. One coworker who is a much younger brotha, has given me and my guy much support throughout everything and it was pretty shocking. Of course everyone was shocked once I went and came back and told of the wonderful time.

REMEMBER THE KEY POINT: THE BEST REVENGE IS LIVING WELL!!!
