United KingdomVaccination Confusion
Here's a link on the London Embassy for vaccinations that are required, as englishamericanvisa said:

http://www.usembassy...ccinechart.html

I just got as many as I could at my local GP, and I told the Civil Surgeon in the US that I already had chicken pox.

US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionChecking I have everything..
Hi all,
My Interview is on Monday and I just wanted to do the routine check. I've already had a bit of a nailbiting week, what with my fiance leaving sending some of the docs until this week (they're safely here now) and I am slightly worried about the Financial documents though.

I will be taking:

Passport
Birth Cert + Copy
Police Cert + Copy
Appointment Letter
£63 payment slip stamped by bank
2 color photographs US size
Medical Docs
New Fiance Letter of Intent from both of us
Evidence that relationship has continued

I-134 from fiance + bank statement
I-134 from co-sponsor + bank statment + employer letter + W-2

I read here on Visajourney that a fiance Visa had been denied because the US fiance had been living on benefits and had no intent to work, despite having 2 co-sponsors.

So my fiance hasn't worked an awful lot in the last year, but hasn't been living off the government, and she has been between jobs recently. She wrote $0 on the I-134, and hasn't got an employer letter but wrote a statement about how she is inbetween jobs and will be having an income both before and after I apply for my EAD once we're married on a K1.

I'm just wondering how worried I should be about this?

Thanks, Michael.

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone and that I received my Visa in my passport back today :)

US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionApproved in London
Well as the title suggests, I got approved! :)

So as it was, my brother-in-law took me down to London, we set off at 6:30am from here in the Midlands to allow for traffic, we got there in good time, and I was in the larger queue at 9:50am for my 10:30am appointment, I was let through about an hour later by the 2 girls that looked like teenagers. I had the usual security inspection, and then proceeded to the other side of the building, where I got my Immigrant Visa ticket number.

I was seen after about 40 minutes, where I handed in my documents to a nice english guy who looked remarkably like Gary Oldman in Batman Begins. Then I was told to sit back down and I'm sure I waited 2 hours if not more, before I was asked back for the 2nd part of the Interview, and what was weird was that I was asked to raise my right hand and then he went through the oath and truth statement, yet the was a really loud noise in the background that sounded like a drill so i could barely hear him.

Anyways he asked me a few questions: what's my fiance's job, where does she work, what's my job, have we met each other's parents, how do I plan to be supported while I am there, and then there we go.. paid the courier, and we were back off home for an 11 hour day.

But it was worth it! :D

I'm sad to say i didn't get a Welcome to America though :(

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionEvidence for I-751

Hi All,
I just wanted to find out if this would be enough evidence within our packet that will be sent in a few weeks:

1) Many utility bills addressed to both of us at the 3 addresses we have lived at since Conditional Residence

2) Car Insurance in both names

3) Confirmation of Life Insurance from employer showing my spouse and children as beneficiaries

4) Joint Bank Account

5) Copy of Joint Tax Returns for 2007 (and 2008 if we file in time)

6) Copy of Birth Certificate of our Son (they already have the one for our daughter from the Interview for Conditional GC)

7) Birthday and Xmas Cards from Family back in the UK

8) Pictures taken together, with family

9) Flight itineraries for my Parents Visit to Phoenix in 2007

10) lease Agreements for previous 2 Residences showing both names

11) 401K Beneficiary listed as my spouse

I was also considering adding our car loan and mortgage loan paperwork that has myself and my father-in-law listed (he's the co-sponsor on my I-864 also). Would that be a good idea, or leave that out?

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresUK Applicants - inportant info for you

Guys,

Just thought I would let you all know that I read that thread yesterday, and was also surprised to hear that you needed the DS 3025 form ( I didn't know about this one either!) for the AOS filing in the USA.

so I phoned the Birmingham Nuffield centre where I had my examination 2 months ago, and the woman was very helpful there and she said that she would send out the form to me in the post.

so if you need the form, ring your centre and they should send it to you!!

Yep me too, Birmingham were very helpful, called yesterday at 2pm, my DS-3025 came today, Thanks go to Sukie

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Proceduresbirth certificate
I'm assuming you have/will have to fill in the form DS-230 and a couple of other forms that ask for your parents names and birth dates, therefore I would imagine the consulate wants to check you have given them truthful information.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Proceduresbirth certificate

:help: I have a birth certificate which has my name date of birth and where i was born on it.Why do i need a long form birth certificate....what is the difference and also do you think the one i have will be fine? :help:

The long form is needed for parents name, birth places, and maybe other things? This is the case for London, from what your saying, I assume it's the same for Australia too.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresFilling out the G-325A...

My filled in automatically after the first

Now what about the check mark boxes close to the bottom..the examples show page 1 ck "Other" page 2-3-4 ck "Naturalization" is this correct ??

You fill out the first and when you print all 4 will be filled.

The example form here on VJ has "Other (Specify)" checked, and "I-129F Petition for Fiance" written in the space provided - that's what you want if you're a K1.

Watch out on these forms though, Once I typed in them, the check kept reverting back to "Naturalization" for some odd reason.
