Visa issued, waiting on UPS

Hi Cindy and congrats on the approval.

When I was shopping for my ticket for Faycel, we saw so many flights that had long layovers to. Faycel had a long flight over. Faycel took the flight from Algiers to Doha (3 hr layover) then Doha to London (5 hr 5 min layover) then London to Los Angeles. Definitely keep checking the prices for various price reductions. This is the summer and they will be slightly higher.

As for the visa give it a few days more as I think it took about 10 days for us to get our visa. Faycel went and picked it up at the embassy.

Now that its Ramadan he can just let the flight attendant know and they may be able to accommodate him as many flying over are observing Ramadan as well. You may want to add a note in the processing of your flight that the food is to Halal and in observance of Ramadan.

It may be better to wait til Ramadan is over to fly him out. This way he gets to spend it with his family and gather his personal belongings as he is leaving his entire life there. I too was excited to get Faycel here and was selfish to ask him to be ready before the flight date. I didnt want any delays. But he made it yay!

I do hope that everything is worked out and your husband is home soon.

If so if he's from another country and you are filing again then that will be a major red flag on your part.

Just seen this response and yes my fiancé is from another country and so far no red flags. I believe this is because my first marriage was over 4 years and I have presented enough evidence to support my current relationship. I think what brings up red flags has to do with other factors other than marrying 2 guys from other countries. If men here had what I was looking for then I wouldn't be looking in other places.

Sad to say this but from experience, I was 40 and my husband was 28 and we had no issues. No here I am again marrying and I have 20 more on my fiancé. I don't think age difference is or should be a issue. We don't chose who to love cause our hearts are the ones that lead us. If a relation is real and they see its real then you should be approved.

What you say is true, just in my case it worked because there was a man that died right in front of the embassy because of the protests there and I freaked out and demanded that they get my husband out of there and in a couple of days I was told that they interview was set up and visa waiting. Not everyone can get immediate results like I did but nothing beats a failure but a try

What works for me may not work for others, however nothing beats a failure but a try, right

I can understand your frustration because I went thru the I-130 process back in 09 only to end up in a divorce after he got here. I wrote the embassy and at that time the middle east was in the revolution and it ended up in Amman where my husband was living. I pleaded with them to hurry because I feared for his safety and within a couple of days they called him in (they also saw that we had been married over 2 years) and gave him his interview and visa. I wouldnt give up just yet and I would call his embassy and nvc and demand that they take priority on expediting your papers

Expedite Criteria

Have you tried filing a formal report against this person and obtaining a restraining order? Listen I would contact the abuse hotlines and ask if there is something you can do to get this guy either in jail or away from you. Is moving an option? I would also bring up a complaint against the police for not looking into this matter more. So many women are attacked and even killed because the police failed to do anything. If this guy has an extensive background I would think that they would look into this

What does your 797 say?

Does it say to contact the consulate to set up and interview. Since you are approved (I assume that USCIS has approved your petition) you will not be able to track your case with USCIS.

Documentary Proof of Having Met in Person in the Past Two Years and an Ongoing Relationship:

When we filed our 129f I sent in about 35 printed black and white photos ( photos that I had posted in Facebook and printed from my copier) my g325, the letters of intent, the last 5 years of taxes, screen shots of the thousands of the conversations we had, from Skype, Facebook, hotmail, yahoo, and from the IM apps on my phone, my divorce papers, our birth certificates, a copy of my ID, my SSN card, 2 passport pics of my fiance, a letter on how we met, and all the other paperwork the needed to begin the petition. The only thing they they asked me in the RFE letter was my passport pics. I sent them in with case number and now we await the decision.

Why they send yours back is beyond me but I would call them and ask.

Ok so you came on a k1 visa, your girls family didn't like you, you left the state to end up marrying another woman, but you loved your girl and you didn't want to come to the US in the first place. So why did you marry another woman, if you loved your girl?

Sounds like perhaps you didn't love her enough to try and work it out. If my family don't like my guy well that's just to bad I'm the one he's got to live with and vice versa. If you didn't want to be here why you worrying about a green card.

I work in law and if you have some issues that you think will arise then get a lawyer but if not do not waste your time. He won't be able to make the process any faster. All he does is do the paperwork, file it, and checks the status, that's something you can do yourself. Call on the VJ members in your UK circle and get all the answers you want for free.

Let me get this right, you married a USC and in the marriage you got engaged to another woman? That sure sounds like you had intention to defraud. If I was looking at your case I would definitely deny your case. Being married and then telling another woman you want to marry her is definitely fraud no matter how you look at it.

When I married my husband back in 2008 we married in Vegas with just our ID cards. We paid the fee and all he had to do was show his passport and I showed my ID. WE paid the fee and walked across the street and married. Easiest way to marry

Getting an Attorney or personally doing the filing,which is better?

I work in law and even though I was challenged with the forms and process the first thing I did was turn to the VJ forums.

Why spend money when you dont need to. All your answers are right here with people that have gone thru the process, the papers, the headaches, etc. This is free advice right here. I will agree that if you or or partner have some really serious issues then go ahead and hire a lawyer, but be on his tail cause there are so many that are taking advantage of people and you get stuck holding onto broken promises.
