Hi Selavi, you are at the wrong topics, you need to look at k1 visas.
As far as i know he will need a birth certificate for k1 visa but not for the i 751(they ask a copy back and fort of the green card and driver's license).
You sumbit to the papers only a copy and not the original one.Is good to have the original one at a interview.
Good luck, sorry i do not know the answers to your other questions.

US Citizenship General DiscussionN-400 - SEPTEMBER 2013 FILERS

Hello everyone. We are filling base 3 years marriage.I read what we need bank accounts,IRS transcripts.

I did read that other peoples sent some extra papers, some others everything for 3 years so i am getting a little bit confused here,to what to send.

I was thinking to send Irs transcripts, and state transcripts for 3 years, few of the back accounts.(since they have everything from AOS and ROC)

We do have some updates(life insurance, home security system on both names and a huge dentist bill, that my hubby payed over 10.000$).Should we include these too?

Also do i need the driving records?I was never stopped(no ticket or warning in 3 years)

Thank you.

US Citizenship General DiscussionGeneral Info on Naturalization

Look at your greencard. Where it says "resident since...". what is the date? Add 3 years to that, subtract 90 days and that is the earliest you can apply. Keep in mind you do not HAVE TO apply then, or at anytime.

So is August 2013.Thank you for the reply
P.s I like your nickname.My husband propossed me with a penguin!! (L)

Toogroove: Congratulations on your approval and sorry to hear about your mishap. If it was identity fraud (i.e. someone changed your address with USCIS by filing an AR-11 form pretending to be you) then it must have been someone who had access to your green card and possibly your passport, since AR-11 requires you to fill out your A-number, date of birth, country of citizenship, as well as the last time you entered the country and your port of entry. So they must have had access to all this information to fill it out accurately and submit an AR-11 which would pass for genuine.
For the above reason, I'm leaning more towards the clerical error explanation - i.e. some USCIS admin person mixed your address with someone else's, or someone else submitted a change of address and mis-typed their A-number so it came to be your A-number, or something like that.

Before throwing money down the drain with an immigration lawyer, I'd suggest contacting USCIS to ask what can be done to remedy the situation. Most likely they will be able to issue you a new card, possibly with a new A-number, and should be able to investigate whether immigration fraud has been committed by the occupant of the other address or whether it was a mix up. I don't see a reason why things should get ugly since they've already approved your petition, and I'd hold off hiring a lawyer for now. I'm sure it's happened to them before and they should have ways to remedy problems like that.

Also, do make sure your case has indeed been approved. It is a bit strange that you didn't receive an email notification (though not everyone does), but the information on approval date etc. should definitely be online. If there is no approval date online etc., it makes me wonder if it's just a system glitch on their end and there has been no approval/card production yet.

Keep us posted on what happens.

TooGroove i agree with Christi,to investigate before you hire a lawyer!!Call Uscis and talk with them about it with them!
:ot: And talking about stolen identity couple of months ago i was harrased on the phone by scammers, whom were trying to get my info!!
First thing they were saying is that:"We are calling you about the problem with you're computer"!!
They were calling every 2 days, sometimes was the same person(i could recognize the voice).
I was nice in the begging and told them i do not have any problem with my computer, but they were keep calling!! :bonk:
I told them later i do not have any computer!!
Best part is that one day they called i could recognize the same voice and he goes:"We are calling you from the US Goverment" :wow:
I asked him politely if you are calling me from the U.S goverment what is my name?
He sayed something bad,the F word and he hanged up!!
They stopped calling lately, maybe they know they can not get any informations no matter what they are trying

Everybody - those who are and those who have sent out the packet -

Letter from friends

vs

Affidavit from friends

Who is doing/did which one....

Thanks,

We have a lot of cards from family and friends(christmas, birthday, thank you cards, invitations).
About the affidavit do we really need to sent those?I do have 2 but i am confused because the stamp from the notary is not on same page with the letter, but on a second blank one.Is that a problem?
Second question do we need to send wedding photos too?We already sent those first time..i am confused here!!

hello, nicole
if you have tax transcripts + apt lease for two years or letter from landlord+ joint bank statement for two years they will prove you good luck

I have joint federal and state taxes for 2010&2011.We don't have apt lease,we have our own house, but not both names,my husband bought it couple of years before we met.
About the joint bank statement do i have to sent all the months?

Hello,we are sending our package this week too!Add me to on the list.
I don't know if we need affadavits,i am kind of embaressed to ask from peoples.
Till now our package contains:
Joint federal and state taxes transcripts 2010 and 2011.
Joint car insurance,both cars.
Joint health insurance(i also added a quiqstament from our previous dentist, with our both appoinments,a huge bill from my current dentist,my husband payed the huge bill, also our office visit to our family doctor)is it ok the last ones?our they don't need to be added?
Family phone plan ,i added some bills from 2011 and last bill from 2012(i don't think i need to send all the bills right)
Joint bank account(i added a letter from the bank and a statement from couple of months ago)
Visa credit cards bills with my husband paying for my school(added some from 2010 and 2011).
Visa credit card statemnt for skype(we were calling my family and friends on their phone through skype)
Plain tickets, car rental and hotel receipts from a few trips.
Photos from weddings partys, and every day life.(Is it ok if i added to some photos the invitation and thank you card to that event?)
Christmas cards, events, anniversary from 2010 and 2011(i added like 10 of each)
Paypal shopping(for example my husband surprise party,or his gifts for my birthdays and christmas). Is that ok to add those?i mean if they see a bill on my husband's name for shoes it's abvious for me.
I'm i forgetting anything?

We don't have utility bills on my name, there is no point to add my name, just to show my name there.
We don't have joint credit cards.I know i have to build credit, but if i don't have enough money for something, for grocery for example isn't a little bit akward to get money from the bank and return them, instead of asking my husband money for grocery?

Now i have a lot of questions:
1.Do i need to add also the annual street listening from the city hall?I have that too.
2.What about the W2 form?
3.Do i need to add also my home ocupantion certificate and bussines certificate?I don't have a bussines license and i do not have any income from this since i have those 2 only to build my portofolio. In the future i will get a bussines license.
4.We took some other trips weekends but from those we don't have hotel receipts since we stayed over friends and family, and to some of them we don't have photos. It's ok if i add also some photos and credit card bills showing that we purchased something in the city we went?

My fiancee wants a lawyer, for k1,he sayed he dosen't want to be worryed. Can i ask a question? How can a lawyer help us?I mean we submit the forms, not the lawyer,we have the instructions from visajourney, sow can someone explain to me what's the diffrence?

the difference is, he is more interested in the cash, than a timely, successful outcome!!!!

so he just pays to have no worries...i think that a stupid thing since the lawyer dosent do anything for us,but he is afraid if he does any mistake when he submit the file.i got in a big fight,i think he shouldn't put lawyer but he wants to do it in his way
