Caribbean	a few questions	First I wanna say thanks to the peeps on this website also I got a few questions my fiance(beneficiary) is a procrastinator he had his name spelled wrong on his birhtcerticate so he had to get it fixed before applying for his passport he dont have any papers ready I told him a million time to look about it he always says he will but he dont know hes running like chicken with no head beacuase NVC just send me a letter stating that they recieved our application 1. How long would it take for them to schedule an appointment. 2. How will they notify him by mail or phone call 3. Can we expedite passport in JA..and if so how long will it take 3. Caribbean	How long	i guess all police station aren't the same cause we try to apply with out his passport in Ocho Rios were he lives and they told us we couldn't do it with out his PP. Did you specify it was for immigration? ??? I just returned from jamaica, my fiance filed for his police record without his passport.  He had his ID and 2 passport photos.  They will mail his police record within 7 or 21 days (depending on how much u pay).  If you need an overseas police record then u need ur passport, but local police records do not require a passport.	kween71	Not Telling	Jamaica	2014-07-24 10:34:00

IMBRA Special Topics	been arrested but charges dropped	Hi I was arrested long time ago cause I got in a fight with my ex husband I press charges against him and he turned around and press charges against me but it was a misdemeanor so charges was dropped, my question should I get the court order saying charges was dropped or just let them know nothing happen with the case..thanks for your help.. United Kingdom	how much relationship prove should i take to my interview	We just got our CR1 approved yesterday in Jamaica and they asked for NOTHING except to see a few pictures.  I know its a different embassy but I thought it would be helpful to share my experience. And I prepped so much for it printing out paperwork but nothing. LOL. I'm in the same situation like you same abusive ex husband, I have 3kids just met my fiance in july went back to Jamaica in november spent one week with him, I'm trully in love with him but still skeptical because of my past relationship, but one of the things he told me was FALLOW your heart and that's what I'm doing so I haven't file yet I'm gonna go back in April to spend another week if we love each other as much as we say we will wait as long as it takes, we are both believers I put God first I have no doubt about my fiance but TIME can only do two things make you stronger in love or make the relationship weaker if it doesn't get stronger then there goes our answer.
