US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionQuestions about Packet 3
My lady received package 3 from the U.S. consulate in Guangzhou, China. It has an instruction sheet that ask to provide certain documents. Can you conform that I get this right?
Also have a question about marriage certificate. We both single and never married, do they need any documents to hand in to prove that? Please let me know if anything missing from the list below.

She will need to get these:

Get an EMS label from the China Post office. Fill in the information required on the label. (note: please write “Immigrant Visa Unit, American Consulate Guangzhou” in the sender’s Company Name box, and write “No. 1, South Shamian Street, Guangzhou 510133” in the Address box)

Make a copy of the bio page of your passport ( where the page shows you birthday and other information.)

Six full-face photographs (passport photos) with white background. Size of the picture: 50 mm square.

Birth Certificate and Police Certificate. You can get it at your local municipal or provincial notary office. (Gong Zheng Chu - ???) These documents have to be translated to English. They can do the translation in the notary office.

Pay 400 USD or equivalent in RMB at CITIC Bank address: ?? ????? ??? 10 ? 020-83340724. They have U.S. visa fee collection service.

Form DS-230 part one

Form I-134 – I have to fill out this form and send it to you. I will also have to send you all the other forms and documents I sent to the government.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresJust Starting
On the petition I-139f under question 18. "Describe the circumstances under which you met." How detailed this has to be? I had only wrote some quick sentences.:
" We had first meet on the internet using Chineselovelinks.com. After developing a relationship I have visited her in China on March 2010."

Is this is will be good enough? Can you give me some tips?

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresJust Starting
Hello Everyone,

I have just starting to put together the K1-I129f. My Fiance lives in China and I am a U.S. citizen. As far as I understand my lady has to complete the "Fiance Letter of Intent" and also G-325A Biographic Information documents. Are these documents need to be signed by her with ink and mailed to me? Can she just fax this documents to me instead? Does everything need to be translated from Chinese to English including her name and address?
Thanks for the reply, I am sure that I will have more question later on.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresPutting K1 on hold at packet 3
"The problem we have right now is her anxiety about living in the States." - same here brother. In my case she is afraid to leave her family behind. I have to encourage her everyday and start doing the papers on my side anyway. I would also wish to know how long they wait for package 3 to send back to them.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresVisa approved !
We are happy to received the approval for the visa. It caused many ups and downs in our relationship. She was not approved at the time of the interview and I had to write a EOR statement and had provide additional documents to prove of our relationship is bonafide . It is finally done and felt great relief, but it seems its not over yet. She was instructed to take her passport to the consulate (so they can write the visa in it) and told her that it will be mailed back to her and she will received it on Thursday (last week). My fiancee did not receive it yet. She has ems tracking number and keeps checking with the post office but still nothing. She is really upset about this. I wrote an e-mail to the consulate and ask them if they mailed out her passport yet. The answer was short and just told me what I already know. She got approved and she has to wait for her visa package. How long does this usually takes in Guangzhou? The consulate FAQ says 3 days after the interview. I am getting worried that her passport is lost.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresShe got a blue slip and pink slips at the interview
She had her interview on December 23 ( my birthday) in the Guangzhou consulate and the officer denied her visa. After lots of crying an other officer came to the window and they decided to gave her blue and pink pages instead. On the blue page 221(g) was marked which means lacking of documents/further processing. On the pink pages they explain what more documents they need. They want to see more pictures with descriptions. Statement from me describing the evolution of our relationship. A second statement describing my visit to china and how we spent our time together. A notarized copy of my passport including all the empty pages. I never had to wrote any statements before. Is there and sample statements I could read?

Does anyone had to do this and end it up with a visa approved? I am afraid this is just a way to shut her up and send her away.
