WAITING FOR NVC CASE NUMBER	Mine was approved October 30. still waiting for my case number.     are you guys going to schedule it by yourself after you got your case number? or are you going to wait for the letter from USEM for your appointment? so jelous     you better call now everyday.. I got my case no. thru phone call Nov21 but it was already generated nov.19 and already shipped and in transit to Manila consulate.. I asked NVC to send me an email where the the case no. can be seen so i can use it for my medical this monday.. because i believe it would take long before my fiance receive the NVC letter thru mail.. then today(nov 23) my fiance just received the email and forwarded it to me. yesterday, just by knowing the case no. I was also able to set an appointment online for my interview.. you better set an appointment right away after knowing your case no. because slots are taken out so fast (no slots available for dec&jan except for those which are cancelled every now and then).. US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	US Embassy in Manila	yeah coz there are a lot (i mean really A LOT!) who are getting their petitions approved so many are setting up their interview appointments... but just be patient checking the http://cgifederal.secure.force.com/ site for cancelled earlier slots... it may be so risky though.. because you have to cancel your previous appointment first, before you can reschedule... and if someone is faster than you, you might end up not getting an earlier slot... but i did take the risk.. my previous interview sched should have been feb 4 2014 but i got lucky to see an earlier sched and so nervous rescheduling.. i got interviewed dec11 and now will be picking up my visa packet tomorrow morning... K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	NEW form i-129f	Hey everybody!   Sooooo I just noticed there is a new form i-129f AND the instructions are totally different. For example before you couldn't leave anything blank! Now the instructions say to "Answer all questions fully and accurately. If an item is not applicable or the answer is ?none,? leave the space blank."   Now I'm nervous all over again. Hoping I fill out this form correctly!!!! **fingers crossed**     Jess           We willalso be using the new I-129F form. I am actually done filling it up and printing it. What I have done was I put None or N/A just on the first item but leave other items pertaining to the same question blank. I have read one who did the same thing and another one who placed None or N/A to all questions where his answer is just that. They said they didn't have any problem so far. Don't think it makes a difference, but it sure doesn't look good.    What do you mean by "it doesn't look good"? So the paper which was sent to him by the court with words "Final judgement" and names of the judge and court's clerk + the date of marriage termination still cannot be considered as an eligibility to get marry? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	RE: I-129F packet requirement - divorce decree versus divorce judgement	My fiance (petitioner) had a divorce and got his divorce judgement last July but it was stated on the papers that marriage will be terminated on August 23 before he can be allowed to marry again. We are already done in preparing our I-129F packet for our K1 visa application and plans to send it on August 26 after the final termination of his previous marriage. But we are confused with what to send as an evidence of his eligibility to marry. Is the divorce judgement paper sent to his home from the court enough as a proof? It has a stamp with the court clerk's and judge's name on it in addition to the entry of judgement date and the date of the termination of marriage. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Questions about G-325A and I-129F for K-1 Visa	About my G-325A (this version: http://www.uscis.gov...form/g-325a.pdf): 1. The section that reads 'File Number    A'. I don't have this number, as I have not applied and am not a US citizen (obviously). I presume that this is the Alien Registration Number, which is also mentioned at the bottom of the form. Should I leave this blank? just leave it blank 2. The section about 'U.S. Social Security No. (if any)'. I was a student in the US for 5 months and was given a job by my university while there. For this I was given a Social Security number, but this was in early 2007. Should I include this? it should be included and once your visa application is approved, you will just need to update it together with your status. 3. The section 'This form is submitted in connection with an application for:' Should I tick 'Other' and specify K-1 Visa? tick 'other' and specify I-129F     About the I-129F (this version: http://www.uscis.gov...form/i-129f.pdf):   1. Part 2 question 11, again I do not have an Alien Registration Number. What should I put here? again, just leave it blank   2. Part 2 question 12, again should I put my old Social Security number? yes   3. Part 2 question 15, I will not be in the US when out application is filed, so do I fill any of this section out? I notice there is no where else on the form to put my passport number.   you just have to answer those items if the beneficiary is currently in the US during the application. if not, you may put N/A on the first item (15.a.) then leave the other items pertaining to that same question (15.b. to 15.h.) blank. your passport number is not anyway needed at this stage except if you are currently in the US.     I hope that helps! You can still use it according to USCIS if you will file your application until September 16, 2013. But I suggest for you to use the new edition of I-129F (the one available in USCIS website). The Part B Qustion 18 will then become Part 2 Question 34A. And you will just still follow the advice of VJ to hae it single-typed, signed, and dated declaration of how you met in person in the last two years. I just have a question regarding the I-134 form particularly the question asking for "previously submitted affidavit(s) of support for the following person(s) - asking for name&date submitted I have a sister and her daughter who were petioned by my mother but I am the one who submitted my affidavit of support for them together with a co-sponsor (my elder sister). It has been almost 3 years from now since I filed for that. My sister has her own work already, have her own car, living with my other older brother, and pays her taxes on her own. In short, she is not actually depending on me anymore. Now that I am filing for K1 visa for my soon wife-to-be, I need to file affidavit of support for her... Should I still write my sister and her daughter on the section where it is asking for "previously submitted affidavit(s) of support for the following person(s) - asking for name&date submitted? Even if my sister is not actually depending on me anymore? If yes, will my sister and her daughter still be included as a part of my household / dependents? What I am actually thinking is if ever they will still be included, my annual income is expected to be higher as compared if they will not already be counted as my dependents.
