K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	September 2009 K-1 Visa Filers	Her flight arrives at JFK at 9:45pm on the 20th. Once I get a call from her that she cleared POE I will be better. She was suppose to come a week later so my vacation time starts on April 5th and til the 11th. So she is going to get to Florida on the 27th or 28th of March a week earlier then planned. She will be left at home for the first week as I can't get out of work. I have planned something little around town each day after work. Then on the 5th going to the Florida Keys for 2 days then hanging around St.Petersburg showing her around her new city where she is going to live. On top of that she is buying her ticket to Florida the night she arrives at JFK with the help of her aunt. It's kinda funny to see a lot of VJ'er going to be around JFK/New York all at the sometime. I'm getting nervous because she doesn't speak much English and then she is staying in New York for a week then flying to Florida either on the 27th or 28th of March. The lucky thing is only owe about 6k to chase and that's it. Paid off my car loan in 2 and a half years. I did put no money down on the car when I bought it at 43K but I sure like not having a car payment now. I was over paying it so I can pay it off quick. I was paying anywhere from 1000 to 1500 each month on it. My last payment that I made to pay off the car was just over 9k back in September. I just need to pay my chase credit card off and I'll be great. I been putting money into the savings like crazy since September cause I know we are going to have a lot of bills soon. The problem is I have no time off to do it. I taking a day off on the 25th of March to clean the house and take care of everything I need to do. I'm off on the 20th of March too but I will be at the 12 hour race in Sebring Florida. Wish me luck haha I'll need it. I keep the place pretty clean but not up to her standard of clean. Plus I have to move bunch of stuff around the house. Fix the garden area from months of being to cold in Florida. I plan on getting all that stuff done on the 25th. I don't have time to be tired Really? What POE is he flying into? Joanna is arriving at JFK on March 20th and spending a week in NYC with family then flying to Florida on 27-28 most likely. Looks like you and me will have the same date as the deadline to get married haha. I would love to spend a week in Florida but I only get one week paid vacation and March isn't a good time to take my vacation. Will be taking it on the 4th to the 11th of April. Now only I wish we could get warmer. Hopefully by the end of the month it will be back to normal here with the weather. Joanna just bringing a suit case with her tools for the UV gel nails she does and hair stuff for the hair she does. She said she is buying most of her cloths here. I can already see the bank account going down lol. I take only one day off every 30-38 days and what do you know Florida is cold again and it's suppose to rain all day. I was planning on getting some stuff done with my car tomorrow. Now I have to either wait til next month,hope it doesn't rain (just need 3 hours), or go to a good friends of mine and do it in doors. I also could take my car into work and do it there but I would have to wait til we close at 5 to do that. After hours work at my shop is ok with the owner for me but I don't feel like doing it that late in the day. I'm a type of person that if I have something to do I like to get it done first thing in the morning. Now for the good news is that I have our to the Key's trip all planned out and set up in April when I take my week vacation. Also my parents in the UK bought us a Garmin GPS as a gift for right now. Don't forget to leave the ice pack at home before you go to the interview they may look at you alittle funny lol sorry hard to say that. Your secret is out... Maggie I know in some counties you can pay an extra fee and speed up the police report. I never thought it was that hard getting one. In Poland she just went there and they gave her the report in person once she paid them that is. Getting a new PC is always great even if you aren't a computer nerd or gamer. It just something about a new computer that feels so good lol. Yea for booking the ticket finally 50 days will go by quick. My Joanna is going to fly into JFK in 37 days and I will probably see her in Florida in about 44-45 days from right now. Can't wait so I know the feeling. She just bought her ticket this Monday too. Jenn you are leaving for Turkey soon I don't know the actual days but have a safe flight and you will be fine with your interview. What you wrote last night really means a lot to all of us. It's amazing how everything works out. AandD I know about the paper work. When I sent the papers to Poland I must have checked everything like 10 times before I sealed it and mailed it. I try to read up every night and sometimes I just read so quickly that I skip over a lot since I'm tired and don't have more time. She never been outside of Poland besides one time and that was to Germany. She couldn't visit here because of no B-2 Visa. So she is leaving her three sisters,mother, and father to move here to be with me. We still don't know where we will end up living. I have to stay for 4 more years in the States then since we both have Polish/EU papers I don't know where we will end up living. We both want to be closer to our families which are in Europe but we don't know. I have a great job that I held for 4 years now. I'm about to recieve a raise and a deal with more time off starting April. I worked hard here and now I'm going to have more time off to be with Joanna. To be honest it makes me scared sometimes to think to move back to Europe since right now I make a pretty penny and don't know if I would be able to get that over there. In a few years I'm going to try to get a job at the America Embassy in Poland and start from there. If I get that position which is completely out of my field of work. It would make moving there easier. I just know for the next 4 years to work, work hard, and save. I want to be semi-retired in 10 years from now. I just have enough time most times to just read what is going on and then off to bed lol. I learned something when working with one day off each month since September you really need to find the sleep or you are dead tired each day. Hopefully I can work something out with the company that I can start taking days off atleast one day a week when Joanna gets here. Good luck everybody. Update on our end Joanna is flying into JFK on March 20th staying a week in New York then flying down here to Florida. So everything go moved up a week earlier I'm so happy can't wait. Also can't wait to take my vacation it starts Easter April 4th and I'm out of work for a week. Some of you people are really lucky to have really fexilbe jobs where you can take the vacations and time off so easily. I'm the boss so it's hard to get away lol. Take care everyone have a good night and weekend. I stopped naming people now since a lot of things are happening I don't want to miss anyone out. Paid 5k this year. The good news that Joanna probably won't hold a job for a long time this year when she comes so we are going to file together and that should help with my tax bill for next year. Pretty good one at that, they do covers of all types of rock songs and have their own stuff. The lead singer/guitarist plays for Sebastian Bach when he tours once in a while. We were actually thinking about going there for a belated honeymoon soon after getting AP. but now looking at my vacation time...it may be a *very* belated honeymoon. krystle, maybe you can still do a destination beach wedding, just in the US? I know nothing here can compare to the wild beauty of jamaica (except for hawaii) but we're doing the beach wedding thing in Florida. but we're just doing something super small and simple to save money. just my immediate family and 2 very close friends. seb, have you been to pass-a-grille (down at the bottom of st. pete beach)? that's where i'm planning on getting married... I actually live about 10 mins away from there It's really nice here at the beach. If you also have some time you should go to Fort Desoto if you guys like the beach haha. Let me know when you guys are in town if you have some spare time we could meet up. I see you are getting married in May. Joanna will be here by that time. We still don't know how,when,or where we are going to have our little civil union. I do plan to take Joanna when she gets here to the Keys and around Florida a bit. If you guys need any help with the stuff here in Florida I might be able to help you guys out if you need something let me know. I do work a lot right now so I would have to do anything after hours. We are planning on having a big Catholic wedding in Poland in the summer of 2011. We are just going to have a small civil service here with just few witnesses and just have a party at either my house or my friends house since he has a very large house. That's the plan. I have a feeling I will be working the farm before the our wedding in Poland haha. Since I plan on being in Poland for like 3-4 weeks. I'm sure her dad will put me to good use lol. She is one of four girls with no males on a farm in Poland. I keep joking with her father that he should have kept on trying either he would have had a boy or had a full Polish womens soccer team. I am writing from Florida as my visa was approved last Monday and picked up on Wednesday. I have been trying to keep up with everyones posts in the last little while but it was hard to sit down and follow since I have been so busy with packing, leaving my work, my family and my friends, and finally moving to the states. This experience has been so overwhelming and emotional but as we all know the end result is worth it . I am going to try to get on here more to try and give a bit more support for those of you still waiting for your loved ones. I am happy to see a bunch of you with interview dates and even a few approvals! I also hope that Montreal hurries up and fires out some interview dates for those of you waiting there. I look forward to hearing everyones interview results and wedding plans and again I am sorry for my absence in the last little while. That's great news!!! I bet you are enjoying our wonderful weather here. It was a nice day today here. I'm over in St.Petersburg if you guys ever wanna meet up just message me. Always looking for good friends and those Canadians seems to be a great bunch of people haha.
