Just keep it!

But have no intention of dumping them.

Did hear something about being checked within two years after your oath ceremony, but not entirely sure about that. Could just keep all the letters from the USCIS, that would be a very thin stack. Already burnt a couple of CD's with all of our immigration data on them. But then, CD's may become obsolete.

Could have pitched my service records, was told I could not get GI benefits because of a fire in St. Louis, even though I had all of the original records. Another time I was very angry. But they corrected that and sure needed those records to get VA benefits.

Just saying, you never know. But I don't believe you have boxes and boxes of that stuff. Should all fit in a large brown envelop, just in case.

As for tax, I keep all my business related receipts and documents.

Putting aside the "racism" debate.

When used, generic "they" can be seen to have an implication of indefinite reference. It is most commonly used with indefinite referents of a distributive nature such as someone, anyone, everyone, and no one. Such references are not to one particular person but to a large group taken one at a time, causing influence from the implied plural.

The inflected form of "they" being debated, is nominative (subject) and prenominal possessive.
Nominative- "they carry"
Prenominal possessive- "their kids"

Therefore, Happy is correct. :star: Kevin and Dave are incorrect. :bonk:

PhilippinesJust wondering.....

Im now thinking of when can I have my medical done since we just got approved today.. do i need to wait for the paper/s from the US embassy here in phil? or is it good to go to St Lukes once u have ur mnl case number? need help guys!!~

Congratulations on the approval!

You can have yer medical done without yer MNL case#. You can bring either a copy of yer NOA2 and or a NVC letter.

hi, when u get ur MNL case number u can have ur medical, if you think the processing of your papers at the NVC won't take that long and you have all documents ready to send out coz mind you the medical results expires in a couple of months. anyway, you can have your advance medical once you have your MNL cASE number

Medical is valid for (6) six months.

Sizing up the length of your boat, I call that a "calm water vessel".

Take that boat out on a windy day and, you and your dog come home doing this for a few hours after!

That's a double negative. ;)

I do not think my question was improper to ask.

Who said your question was "improper"?

I am afraid because I am loving too much a kid who is not my biological son?

Depends on the circumstances but, if you are "afraid", then I suggest you get some expert guidance. Just an .

You need to be in the situation in order to understand.

You don't know me. Why do you assume I am incapable of understanding "the situation"?

Was that a sneaky way of calling me stupid?

will I be hurt?

That's a rhetorical question right?

PhilippinesWhile waiting for your step/daughter/son

I have a BIG problem. I cannot stop thinking about the kid. I am confused. Sometimes I do not know if I am waiting for M'e or her kid.

When I go to the malls, I do not think much about her. I think about the kid. If I see anything cute, I want to get it for him. I already started to buy him things for when he comes. I am attaching a pictures of some of the toys I already bought him. Everything in his upcoming bedroom is new. From Bed, WALL-LCD TV for his game box, desk, PC, TO spider man underwear. I mean everything!

I am also getting him a college fund and things like that. What is wrong or right with me. Why am I loving this kid this much. Is this dangerous?

I am so confused about all this :(

 :help:   :bonk:

Have you considered sharing your "BIG" problem with a family counselor or Psychiatrist? (No, I'm not being sarcastic or attempting to bait. I am dead serious.)
Vi-JayNot Telling02011-06-06 07:49:00
PhilippinesCulture, misunderstanding, or just plain used?

The question put to her by him (paraphasing) - "We can be together now, or you and the kids can stay there in the Philippines for a long time before coming over?" would have been so insulting and preposterous (if I were her), that I'd probably give him the same answer. He may have legitimate financial concerns about waiting, but he should have figured that out long before he started courting her. He sounds like he's putting her on layaway. Hopefully, this will be a lesson learned.

Our little talk helped. You're welcome. ;)

It's recommended that you bring copies of all the paperwork that the petitioner sent in. The officer is going to be asking you questions based on all the answers on those forms, so it would be a good idea to review those and have them with you.
