US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionI-129F expires 6 days before scheduled interview

@till_eternity: My interview is on January 24. I too am worried about traveling with all the weather woes we've all been having. Thankfully, I will be flying to Montreal the weekend before the interview, as my medical exam is January 20. Here's to hoping we both have smooth travel :) and an even smoother interview!

US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionI-129F expires 6 days before scheduled interview

@till_eternity: Did you send an online inquiry too?

So frustrating that it's the only way to speak with someone. Thank for the help, much appreciated! Best wishes with your process!

US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionI-129F expires 6 days before scheduled interview

Has anyone else had to extend their I-129F petition through the Montreal US Consulate?

My interview is scheduled for 6 days AFTER our petition expires. I've read on other posts that they automatically extend at the interview, but I want to be sure this is the case. I have sent an online inquiry through their website but I know it takes them a while to respond (2 weeks last time).

Any suggestions would be appreciated!! Thank you!!

CanadaCriminal Records Check , Canada (Montreal)

I hope this isn't too late. I had my interview in Montreal on Friday and they DO NOT accept the online criminal record check that the Halifax Police provides. I have to get a paper one done and send it to them now, delaying my visa issuance for another 4-6 weeks.

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsNVC Filers - January 2014

They do, but they discourage it and it says it might take a while to get a physical one: there was a terrible blizzard in Halifax last week during the only time he could go, so he just opted to get it done online. It does have a PRINTABLE version. I think I'll ask him to get a physical copy to be safe, but I am just trying to get all my ducks in a row once I get assigned my NVC number... I want no delays on my end.

EDIT: The printable version looks official, so I think I'm alright. It even has a verification # on it.

I just had my interview in Montreal on Friday and they did not accept the printed copy of the online version. I have to get the official one done (with the stamp) and send it in for them to issue my visa.
