K-3 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresK3 vs. CR1. Still confused?

The path to a K3 visa will be closed by the National Visa Center, should one start down that path. K3 is a visa that will never be issued. What is administratively closed is the I-129F petition for spouse, once it arrives together with the I-130 at NVC. Skip filing the I-129F. It will simply delay the approval of the I-130 that starts the path to the visa that's actually still available.

False and misleading statements are NOT be best way to convey needed information, though they are sometimes easier to type.

Now I am confused ... is a I-129F a petition for spouse or fiance ?

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresOriginals or copies

USCIS does not require original documents, just photocopies. Unless USCIS requests an original document in response to an RFE, only send photocopies.

For the NVC, you send both (originals and photocopies).

thanks for the input ...

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresOriginals or copies
I have read on the uscis web site that you need to send in original birth and marriage papers... but i see on this site you can send in copies... which is accepted.

i read this on the site

Original documents, photocopies, and translations (if required, as explained above) of the following documents must be submitted to the NVC for you and each family member immigrating with you to the United States.

When i called and ask the question the guy told me send originals.

thanks
