National Visa Center (Dept of State)	Anyone from TSC K1 fiance please comment when you get a case number!!	Yes, this is standard language on that letter from NVC.  It just means that your case has been shipped to your embassy and they will contact you once they receive it.  Depending on how your embassy works, either you can schedule your interview now that you have your case number, or you have to wait for them to schedule it once you send back your packet 3 (mine is the latter).  Check your country portal for what to do now.  Perhaps you can schedule your interview and do your medical if you haven't already.  Good luck!     Thanks! Your interview date was provided to you by the National Visa Center.   Interview date? US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	Finally--its here	Hello Vjers   Today my fiance will be having his interview in Barbados at 9 am---I have a feeling that a visa will not be processed/approved today because we are missing one document. The police certificate has not been issued yet. I was one of the January filers transferred to TSC--my case status just updated for the THIRD time in days:   The I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.   Could this mean the "office" officially has my petition and it currently processing at? I truly hope! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Calling USCIS	I did the same thing yesterday,I called USCIS and the lady was really nice and she told me the exact same thing as she told you:they are working on my case but I still have to wait maybe like 10 days to get an answer if not to call back.My NOA 1 Jan 30,2013,the same as yours,the only difference is that my case is processed in CSC and it never been moved to another center. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Calling USCIS	So I thought to try my luck again and call USCIS today and request to speak to a tier 2 rep--to my surprise I received the most helpful woman--after waiting for an hour.   I am a Jan 31 filer and was transferred on 6/21 to Texas.  The lady advised me in the sweetest tone that my case is actively being worked and it is in the final review stage and I should hear something soon. She also advised if I do not hear anything within the next 2-3 weeks to call back.   Has anyone ever heard the above before in their case and if so--how long was it before you got approved--possibly same day?!! After over 95 minutes on hold (yes 95!!) he got a very unfriendly man on the phone.. He said it looks like our case was worked on but he can't confirm it.. Yea, We all know what that means... Sigh Then he said that we are actually within processing times cuz the estimated time for this year is 7-9 months due to the work load.. Ummm last time I checked it said 5 months for Vermont? So we are calling back in 8 days cuz according to that man that's when we're officially out of processing time.. Very suspicious to me.. I think they just wanna get people off the phone quick. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	6/21 Transfers from VSC to TSC	I had read on another thread that the adjucators at TSC were given case loads of 50 at a time. Don't remember how, if at all, it said they were assigned. Even so, seem to be pumping them out faster than the blackhole that was VSC. I've waited 5 months, if it takes 30 days for TSC do get the job done, so be it. At least it'll FINALLY have been processed! And I would be fine with that if it were in order you know? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	6/21 Transfers from VSC to TSC	Oh man....I am a June 21 transfer with the NOA1 of Jan 28th. I called the help line on Monday July 1st and the man told me that the texas center was working on NOA1 apps from Jan 13th that day. I really hope this business of the texas office holding the apps before they go to NVC is not true...What a nightmare this whole process has been. I am hopefull for an approval this next week. It is beyond the five month waiting period that they have declared to be the case...Good luck everybody !   How did you get them to provide such specific info--when I call I am told-- "normal processing is 5 months"--but hello its been over 5 months already!!!! :S	Ashley903	Female	Barbados	2013-07-06 11:01:00
K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	6/21 Transfers from VSC to TSC	6-21 transfer to TSC. NOA1  is Jan 25, NOA2 was 7-3.  But things don't get better. TSC is not forwarding approvals to NVC. Cases approved 3 weeks ago are still sitting at TSC. We are being told it could take 8 weeks to get case# from NVC. And I agree with wholeheartedly, when I see petitions from Feb & March it makes me a little sad. Waiting anxiously for our NOA2. Is anyone else already planning their wedding ceremony? This loooonnng first step has kind of put a money wrench in our plans. But everything in God's own time.   When I first started the process I tried to make those plans--but was soon warned it wouldnt be wise because the process could take up to 10 months even--I didnt want to believe it at first--but now Im starting to understand--it really sucks--Im going to see my fiance the end of the month but this was my planned last trip so that I can save money and prepare for his arrival--but yes when you see people with Feb and March already approved and us Dec/Jan filers still wait--it is disheartening	Ashley903	Female	Barbados	2013-07-06 07:57:00
