IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	CR1 - VISA	Ooops. im sorry i think there was a misunderstanding from my post. i was trying to say is they said that FIANCE VISA will take 3 to 6 months then CR1 visa will take 1 to 2 years. i was just wondering why fiance visa is faster than CR-1 visa? or it depends on the situation and petitioner? Because i heard alot of stories that their husband or fiance lives in abroad and he/she will file it in his country like mail it. My husband been living here in the Philippines since 2008 we just got married last 9/24/2011. since 2008 we've been living together. we are going to file our cr-1 visa by the end of November. Some says that it will take like 2 years for process, and its easier for me to go to U.S if we did fiance visa. Do you have any idea how long it will take for CR-1 visa? thank you so much! My husband is american citizen, and we are going to file my CR1 visa here in Manila USCIS. he's been living here for almost 3 years and working here as well as a teacher. STATE: New jersey today i received my welcome letter from USCIS and its says that my card will be delivered within 30 days, is that card like the greencard? permanent residency card?
