Canada	police certificate	i have a question my finace is from morocco, the embassy in casablanca is insistiing we get a police certificate from canada, my fiance has applied for a visa to go to canada in 2004, but was denied, now they want this certificate, what i was wondering is do we need the fingerprint one or can we do the name check one.seems like it would be faster,, just not sure.got some suggestions from cynget, many thanks, need to know asap, my fiance is going in the morning to do the fingerprints, but if we dont need that then we would rather do the other , but not sure how to do this from morocco, help pls Karen2705	karen2705	Female	Morocco	2006-07-02 22:32:00
Middle East and North Africa	interview k1 visa	congrats Karen, But I think I missed something, you said that he got a 221(g) for what. Aren't they only used for soft denials to hard denials? I have never heard anyone get as 221(g) to say they were approved. Please clarify because I am confused. Middle East and North Africa	interview k1 visa	well today was jawhar's interview it was at 11am moroccan time he called me at 3pm his time, 6;56 my time i think, well the interview went well, they didnt want to see anything but some pictures, they didnt even ask for all the things i sent taxes or nothing, they asked him only 3 questions, 1) what was my name , 2) when was i in morocco, 3) they asked my daughters names, i cant believe it went so easy, he said he got a very nice man, i had warned him about the woman, he said yes he could hear her there and she was not nice,they gave him the 221(g) thing and told him they should be calliing him next week to come for the visa, we are both doing the happy dance, when he called me on the cell phone, poor guy cried, i did to, it has been one year since we have seen each other , i pray they call him soon to get the visa so we can finally start our life, thank you all in this forum, i know i dont post much, but believe me i do read everything everyday i am looking and reading to learn what it is i might need to do next, you all have been great in telling your stories for others to learn from thank you again Karen& Jaren	karen2705	Female	Morocco	2006-02-07 13:07:00

Middle East and North Africa	still here	well just an update, dont have any news still in AP black hole, i did contact the congressman for my area, i went and signed the papers, to give them permission, to check on our status,that was last friday, i believe, but havent heard anything yet.This has been a long journey, i sent in our petition in july of 05, and now that date is just around the corner, we are praying this will end soon and he can come soon,thanks for the thoughts jen, i am stilll here just busy working two jobs at the moment, so not much time for me, congrats to all that have made it through, always karen&jawhar	karen2705	Female	Morocco	2006-05-11 23:09:00

Middle East and North Africa	waiting waiting	well here it is monday june 19, 2006. in about 2 weeks or so, it will be one year since i first sent in my k1-visa package, and here we are still waiting, never in my wildest dreams would i have believed it would be taking this long,my angell had his interview feb 7th as you all know,did 3 months of AP, then DOS said finished, now casa is giving us ####### over a police document from canada, my fiance applied for a visa to go to canada in 2004, and of course it was denied,casa wants a police report from canada, we have told them he has never been to canada, but they insist he get one, he has been to the canadian embassy in rabat twice, but nothing, they say it is crazy to ask for that ,lol on the 2nd trip they had he fill out soome form, that was about 20 days agao, and still nothing emails go unanswered, i talked to some one from casa and they were very rude, it was some woman, saying they need the paper to finish our case, i have contacted our congressman agaiin for this matter,we are going nuts here alll this waiting, just wanted to get this off my chest , sorry for the rambling, i havent seen my angel for over a year, been working two jobs to get things ready, and make sure my income is good, for AOS, but willl we ever get the dang visa, hope you all have a good day off to work, inch allah all will work out , Karen 2705 tomorrow is my birthday so wanted my baby here,	karen2705	Female	Morocco	2006-06-19 09:17:00

It is strange that they want an RCMP certificate when he's never been to Canada. But if they insist, then you should just get one. Here's the link to the RCMP site: http://www.rcmp-grc....c/finger2_e.htm When you apply for the police certificate, make sure you tell them it's for a US visa application. They might think he needs it for Canadian immigration. Since the site mentions that some Canadian consulates overseas may not have the facilities to do the fingerprinting, I would assume that they wouldn't be able to help you with the police certificate. You'll have to deal with the RCMP directly. Just make sure you are very clear why you need the police certificate. This way, they won't ask you for a letter from the Canadian visa office. Middle East and North Africa	looking for suggestions	that is true except for the fact that it states that we need a letter from the canadian visa office requesting this from the RCMP, which we do not have they are not requesting it,and we need the applicants immigration file number from the canadian visa office that is processiing that application, another thing we dont have, so casa has us right where they want us, nohere, my angel thinks if i was there we could get what it is that we need from the canadian embassy , but i am working two jobs and dont have any time coming, or the money to fly there to fix this, i guess i will keep bugging my congressman, karen2705	karen2705	Female	Morocco	2006-06-25 21:09:00

Middle East and North Africa	k1 update	well just a little update, you all know casa has been askiing for a canadian police report,which would of taken months to get although my fiance never went to canada so we opted for a document form the moroccan government sayiing he had no border activity for his passport , my fiance took these papers to casa on july 12, so we been waitiing on word to see what is next VISA PLS, LOL well it seems casa has put us back into administrative processing again and said they will contact my fiance when it is conplete. i really knew in my heart they would do this,what i would like to know is, if we just finished processing in may will it take as long as the first tiime around. first time around was from feb 7 interview till sometime in may. what do you all think. i thought that maybe since it has not been to long that it would be faster, but that might be my wishfull thinking. if anyone knows about this i would love some insight thanks well i am off to work again, seems that is all i do now workiing two jobs, man i am tired well i hope you all have a nice day karen2705	karen2705	Female	Morocco	2006-08-08 11:39:00
