IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Dec 2013 I-130 filers	I am also a Dec filer .. My priority date is dec 5 th and mine was sent to the Nebraska service center .. But when I called them today cuz I had some questions they told me that they are just now working on the Feb 2013 I-130 forms .. And I may not hear anything from them for 10 months or so for a decision .. That is kinda discouraging so I am hoping that is not the case .. And they move a little quicker ... IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - July 2014	Hello Guys!   I have one quick question:   Bc of my country official language is different that English translations are demanded. I am wondering if Marriage, Police, Military certificates must be translated by certified translator + public notary done or i need apostle for all and notary isn't enough? Or maybe maybe just translation with statement at the end is enough and apostle and notary is extra?   Below is requirements by my country for IV visa and translation is mentioned also. Just much people tell me i need apostle and i got confused.   8. TRANSLATIONS: Certified English translations must accompany all documents that are not in English. Translations must be certified by a competent translator and sworn before a Notary Public. All certificates must be less than 12 months old when presented on the interview date.   Thanks you very much! I hope till end of the month they will make another wave where my case will be in Just i am wondering your ideas about: 100 case above and below much people are approved already, it is weird but they skipped like 11 case inducing mine. How does it work?! When my case will get approved i think my wife and i will celebrate it like more than any holiday Wish everything great for all of us October filers. I am October 21 filer i am repeating all time but i want it to be clear. Nebraska reviewing time published by USCIS is 5 month so my case is pending 6 month and 1 day exactly, so my wife who is my petitioner went in USA couple days ago temporarily,  she called and USCIS and made service request they asked her several questions and said it is registered and we need to contact them if we arent reviewed among next 15 days. she was very attentive. First for Nebraska filers average time between NOA1-NOA2 is 176 based on October spreadsheet and same for September is 184! so we are near approval guys i am sure, personally i am on my 174 days so over average October and around after 1 week same as average of September. So i am positive about it and you have to be too.   Second reason is: My case number starts with LIN (Lincoln, NEBRASKA)149004337#, i went deep and found out that we have much approvals around numbers LIN149004 134 - LIN149004 250. Those cases got approved 7 - 11 April. Like 120 case got approved in one week. LIN149004 250 + 1 week: 120 case is LIN149004 370 (mine is LIN149004337#), Based on another research it tells us 1 more week before approval (of course if case got not lucky it will take forever)!   I have two reason think approval is near with little delay 2 week max. Really happy for you all! Let's hope the rest of see something this week. Question, maybe some of you guys can help us out. Since I don't think the approval process is going to speed up any time soon, I don't think  my husband will be home anywhere near the end of May/early June. My best friends wedding is in Acalpulco, Mexico on May 24th, my cousins wedding on May 25th in LA, and my cousins engagement party on June 7th in LA. I know my husband can get into Mexico but flying from AUS to Mexico is about 6k instead of $1600 to fly through LAX. Any experience with getting a transit visa? Do you think he would be approved for one? Should we wait till his I-130 is approved before applying?  If we waited till I-130 is approved, do you think he would be successful in applying for a tourist visa just to come to the weddings and engagement? Just want to make sure nothing is going to affect his application for his actual I-130, but I would really like for him to attend as these are important events for me an my family.   Any thoughts or opinions you guys have will help.   Thanks!   Kat Tourist visa wont influence on spouse visa processing, I made all application forms and everything just changed plan and didn't pay fee! I clarified everything and it is ok but read about it online. If your USC spouse lives in USA and you trying to visit her you have little chance to get if you live together overseas you have much more. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	October 2013 I-130 Filers	Guys please i need your recommendations!    First I my PD is October 21, Routed straightly Nebraska at time of getting NOA1, My case number is LIN1490043379 (Of course this specific isn't mine, juts lets say such bc i am near this case number)   Like i checked my case number and went below one by one  (through MY CASE STATUS) and clarified that 238 cases below (LIN1490043141 good approvals around) of my case people are approved really good, almost all i-130 filer.   From this 238 file like half is I-130 and rest another, so lets say rough 200 case of I-130 are before me. I am in Nebraska and hope this week will be fast for all USCIS centers and they will hit my case and all of us as well. Nebraska and another service centers aren't fair because half October filers got approvals and guys like you and earlier filers are waiting still. It is bad as it is that is all. They are approving i know it too but it  isn't enough and i am sure 90 % here are not satisfied with USCIS work expect CSC filers probably. Wish you best, and i hope 10 March will be mine and ours who deserves approval after waiting more than average timeline of reviewing published by USCIS officials. Nebraska stopped very weird, it makes me feeling that just they have eastern per-party! PD is October 21, So i think it is time Nebraska to approve people who are left like me! Dealing with USCIS  is like have big problem going with you in wife, they have a lot delay! Once i will get USA i wont care their processing time just follow their steps but now i need to go fast and i am impatient! Nebraska come on, you approved filer several days ago based on our spreadsheet and it makes general picture i am sure! I am so ready for next stage, even i have everything in hand for sending except some certain docs!   USCIS is not fair that they are approving people so random, and if they have politic for reviewing and approving they need to say that for example from Europe we are fast and from Asia we are slow or explain something to people which will make people dont live in dream.
