My husband lives 3 hrs away from Sanaa, and there isn't a street name or address, so gave them the name of the village and nearest city and two cell numbers. They sent me an email yesterday asking for these information yesterday. IA we both hear something good. I was checking your timeline and you've been in this process for such a long time!! Allah ya3eenk. Elgamee Ya Rab. Now my two older children who I applied with my husband and two younger children have finally been approved at USCIS after 3 year and 4 months. My son will be turning 18 on October so that's why I'm asking NVC to expedite their cases I need him to enter the states before he turns 18 so he can become an American citizen automatically upon arrival. So insha'allah we all get some good news soon. And I'm still waiting for my husband and two younger children's AP to be done its going to be a year in ten days since they've been in AP. ALLAH KAREEM. When did they request them from y? I gave them the address I used for their visa application. I live in aden so I gave them the house number and block number cause its in the mansoora and floor number and two cell numbers. I really don't know why they ask for them. I am wondering because i was under AP but my case was reviewed on April 24 and they replied back saying when an appointment is available they will let me know. I got the same email on April 10 but I didn't get an appointment yet. Insha'allah we all get good news soon. As for the appointment scheduling for March, April and June they are focusing on old cases like administrative processing. My family will be in AP for a year in two weeks. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Interviews in San'a, Yemen	thank you for your quick reply i don't know if it was a mistake or they meant to do that cause they interviewed her twice  the first interview was on mar the 16th they told her everything looks good and gave her a pice of paper says they will call her within a month then they call her to go on sunday she went to there and interview her again they ask her too many questions and told her they will do AP . also my wife saw her visa and my daughter visa were stamped in thier passports .they do not reply to my emails  insha'allah khair. AP doesn't take long for women and they will worry if the visas will expire so she should get a call soon. You should contact your congressman and senator the embassy always responds to their emails. In the notice it said the approved petition was sent to the consulate. Is that right? I thought they send it to NVC? Did u first file an I-130 or just an I-129f because I got the same approval letter when I filled both for my husband and they were approved at the same time. My congressman said that the embassy is not excepting any new cases for the months of March,April and May they are concentracting on the old cases at the embassy they are trying to finish the backlog of cases they have. Hi my husband and two children had their visa interveiw on 5/19/2013 everything went fine but they were put on Administrative Processing. My congressman and senator and I have been sending emails for 10 months and they always say they are still on AP but now I received an email saying that a consular officer has reveiwed their cases and they are waiting for a appointment date to be free so they can give us instructions on what to do next. I'm hoping that my husband will get a call soon to drop off his and the kids passports so we can be done with this journey already. Cuz my husband has been under AP for 4 months now but its becuz they said we needed a new AOS we sent in a new one exactly a month after my husbands appointment still no reply to this day, they jus say a consular officer hasn't reviewed our case ?? The consular officer said everything was good and we weren't asked for anything else and he copied all our documents so we wouldn't have to bring them when we get a call from the embassy to drop off the passports. My husband"s case just got traveled to the local office here in the United States. And no approval yet an I know that once they approve it it has to be sent to the nvc an ask for the sponsor which also can take a while and then to Yemen which will probably take even longer. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Interviews in San'a, Yemen	salaam everyone,   I am new to this visa journey, but I filed for my husband (i-130) on april 30,2013 and until now I haven't heard back for an approval.  On nov 2013, they sent me a notice saying it was transferred to the Nebraska service center and then on march 5.2014 they sent me an email saying it got transferred to my local office for "additional processing".  It will be a year since I filed by April 2014 and I still haven't got anything back.  Did anyone go through the same thing or is going through the same thing?is this normal?      Don't worry my husbands took a year and a half to get approved, now we are in administrative processing for 10 months at the embassy waiting to get a call to drop off his passport. But when you guys can and do have time please submit a review for the US embassy of Sanaa on this site. Because I remember when I was new at this site I wanted to read the reviews for Sanaa embassy but didnt see any but there was plenty for the other countries.
