K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	February 09 - VSC	Help! I'm obsessing over all the things I probably did wrong with my application. Is anyone else going through this? For example: 1.) I sent in the copy of my divorce decree that our lawyer had sent to me. It was not signed by the judge, only had his name stamped in. After joining visa journey and reading that is a big no-no I contacted courthouse and had a certified and signed copy mailed to me so it's ready to go when the RFE comes in. 2.) I didn't label any of our pictures. How are they supposed to know that that is me with his mom, dad, sister, ect.? 3.) I only gave a one sentence answer as to how we met, which was online. I didn't say where online. I didn't say when online. 4.) In my letter of intent I wasn't clear about getting married within 90 days. I just said as soon as possible. Anyway, those are all I can think of right now. It actually just felt better writing them down and seeing that they are easilly fixable. I don't expect to get denied because of them, maybe just a little delayed. And what's a few days when we have the rest of our lives together. The basic difference between the two is the transcript is the completed copy of everything you provided to the IRS, all combined. The tax return is all of the paperwork you will submit to the IRS. First of all, we chose the fiance visa route because we thought it would be the fastest way for us to be together. (As I'm sure many of you did too.) Now the I130's are flying off the shelf at the speed of lightning and I'm wondering if we made a mistate....Is anyone thinking about doing it over, canceling the fiance visa, getting married, and going that route? Part of me is really tempted to do that...but the other part just tells me to hang in there.... And second of all, I had a question about touches. I see many of you have them, and I don't. My case online just says recieved and pending. When they touch you does it give the date with the touch on the website? Middle East and North Africa	what did you know about your SO's culture before marriage/arrival	This is a great topic, I'm so glad you brought it up! I love anything middle eastern and have many friends who are either from the middle east or have SO from there. A few years ago I started going to Arabic school on the weekend which was in a Mosque and also taught about Islam. However, I stopped because I moved to Belize to be the Peace Corps. Even in the tiny country of Belize, the first thing I did was to find a Lebanese restaurant and a group of Lebanese friends. Upon leaving Belize I move to south FL, where yet again I found my "group". Of course I have dated M.E men. I just didn't find the right one until I met my love, Nadeem. (On a side note: With him I feel like a woman. I love how protective he is and I love that he takes such an interest in my life and always wants to know what I am doing, who I am with, and if I am safe. He is a good provider and a hard worker. He is so family oriented and deep and emotional. He is loving and sweet, but he knows when to put his foot down and I respect that) We have discussed just about every topic I think there is to discuss. We are both old fashioned when it comes to relationships and marriages, and we both appreciate this in each other very much. We both prefer traditional gender roles. Personally I want nothing more than to be a wife and a mother and that job will always come first in my life. I'm 33 years old, I have had years of being independent and career oriented. I can't even begin to tell you how tired I am of this life and how excited I am at the thought of having someone to take care of, and to take care of me. I think one of the most valuable lessons I have learned (and am still improving) is how to argue. He gets very heated and emotional, and when I quickly jump to argue back it always ends with both of us upset and angry. However, I learned that if I can manage to just hold my tounge and listen to him (no matter how crazy it is sounding in the heat of the moment) then he really calms down quickly. Then later, when we are totally off topic, and things are relaxed, I can revisit that same topic, and sweetly tell him my point of view. At that point he's totally willing to listen and discuss and we are able to resolve the issue. I am returning to Jordan April 9-25 to be with him. Thank you, that's good advice, and actually I have done that, and she recommended something called a brazillian blue wax, but I haven't tried it with that yet. The only reason I feel ok to attempt sugaring myself is because it's not used at a hight heat, nor does it grab the skin. I'm not confident trying regular wax myself for that very reason- I could really damage my skin if i did it wrong. If sugaring ends up not working, I will get done professionally. I really hope it does work though because I hate having stubble from shaving, and going to get waxed professionally is too expensive (approx. 250 plus tip) for me to do on a regular basis (besides brow). I was terrified of wax after that, which is why I tried the threading.
