Those anyone have a idea if its ok to get married outside the USA after the K-1 visa has been approved? My fiance is in the Philippines and we just send in ur documents 2 weeks ago but we are thinking if we will get in trouble if we married in Philippines and fly right after and again remarried here in the States. Does anyone have anything for me please.

Hi guys,

Listen, about 15 days ago I sent in our I-129F Form to TSC and still have not receive anything from that office not even a NOA1 to date. My question to all is about how long am I looking at from this date till I receive NOA2? I notice that the money has been drawn 2 days ago from my checking account but again I have not got a letter about anything. Hope someone has gone thru the same thing before and hope you can cheer me up..hehe.

I have friends whos wife came here with the I-130 and they told me it took about 8 months in all but some other have told me it could take up to 2 years. What can you tell me? Hi people,

Cr-1 AOS fee

Guys am reading a couple post at the NVC forum and I read somewhere that the AOS fee bill Address has changed. Its it something else now? What I have here is this (P.O. Box 790135, St. Louis, MO 63179-0135) just like what the Jame's Shortcut says. The reason why am so concerned is because I already sent my AOS payment ahead of time using this Jame's Shorcut without waiting to receive my letter from the NVC. Please someone tell me that this address is ok still.

NO, you don't need the (US) international access code 011 (63 is the country code for the Philippines). Write the same way I did on my previous comments and you will be ok. That's how I did with my hubby's.

Sample # 011 63 2 555-1212
where:
011- US international access code
63- country code for the Philippines
2- city code for Manila
555-1212 is the local number in the Philippines.

Just notice that just like how the DS-230 forms experation date has been changed so does the I-864EZ AOS form also expires today and a revise version been update. So what does that mean? Does it mean that the old I-864 and I-864EZ forms are not going to be excepted anymore starting Nov 1?

That is very nice to hear "ERESH" and it makes me feel much better but now I just notice another thing that I did wrong. On the same form the AOS Fee Bill I mistakenly wrote my wife's name as the Petitioner instead of my name. On this matter should I be expecting a RFE from the NVC? The good thing is that the Money Order has been cashed already...

That's right!

CENOMAR stands for CErtificate of NO MARriage, but I did say to ask for CEMAR CRS#5 for married person. CEMAR stands for CERtificate of MARriage, this is different given to you at the time of your marriage, not the actual marriage certificate. It basically entails that there are no other marriage exists other than your marriage together. Or if annulled, that will show on the CEMAR as well.

AR stands for Administrative Review. In your case, if you are placed on it, it simply means they need verification from their direct database link to the NSO database. This is why it is better that you have it at the time of your interview to avoid further delay of your immigration visa.

Question on requirement from the USEmbassy in Manila. Are they now needing and requesting for the Beneficiaries in Philippines to obtain both a "NBI and a clearance from their local precincts" and any type of "CENOMAR" for the CR-1???? Need your advise please because I'll been reading some post that say they do request now, I am just so confuse really..

I never received my I-864. That alone saved more than 2 weeks in calling the NVC and waiting again to receive just the cover sheet. I wish there is a way to create the IV bill so we don't ever have to look at the mailbox.

The shortcuts are all about the mailing time and as mentioned if your mail isn't actually going to an address in the U.S. it saves, as in our case, at least a month of mailing time - probably more.

Yeah really everyone here is now so unclear about what this shortcuts can do and benefit one but are not seeing that for most of us it is working and has been. It worked for my DS-3032 and am sure it will work for you too. Just keep loggin in and checking for changes, thats what I do. And for the rest of us old members lets keep updating each other by posting of what we are learning as we go about our VJOURNEY!
