biggrin.png!  I won't star calling until a month go by, since that's what I've see it has been taking. I haven't even started on Packet 3. xD! I was checking out I-134 form and I notice it expires the last day of this year, and since our interview will mostlikely be next year... I was a bit reluctant to fill it.

Anyway tongue.png I hope it happens fast!

smile.png Our agent advised us that to start collecting our requirements since our petition is approved then 2-3weeks case number we might recieved hopefully. And everything seems going great in us :)

Good luck to us dancin5hr.gif

National Visa Center (Dept of State)Noa2. Why I haven't receipt any corrispondence from NVC??

Seeing your case was also at CSC, did your case status on the USCIS web site change at all once your case was shipped to NVC?
Hope you don't mind me asking.

After the approval status from CSC it was never change. We we're already informed that those petition from CSC really dont notice that our case will be shiiped or already in NVC. So what we did is after a week we started to call NVC and they told us to call again after 4weeks from approval but we were still keep calling atlest twice a week. Then finally after 28days we got our case number.

we were kinda stubborn trying to keep them calling and follow ups in our petition coz seems its kinda effective way to make their asses move lol.. Thats why in less than 2months our petition worked so fast the least we expect it and now we were waiting for my interview :)

Thanks for the info Hank ;)

PhilippinesPPD/ TST positive

I'm pretty sure you will be fine, especially since SLEC does not do skin tests. However, just be warned that if they do decide to do a sputum test it will be 8 weeks regardless of whether it is negative or not.

i wont forget that. Thank you so much for the info

jenrick13FemalePhilippines2013-11-30 13:33:00
PhilippinesPPD/ TST positive

Sputum test or X-ray?

If your result of the X-ray at SLEC is negative at SLEC then you are good to go. If the result of the sputum at SLEC is initially negative they still require an 8 week wait to allow for the culture to grow before you can proceed.

I did an early checked up while waiting for our case number from NVC, it was said negative on xray and when i did the PDD/TST  test it says positive. So i choose to do a sputum test to make sure.. then finally i got the result its totally NEGATIVE all... thats why im feeling more relief now :)

jenrick13FemalePhilippines2013-11-30 13:15:00
PhilippinesPPD/ TST positive

Hey hey hey, I just got my result of Sputum test and its NEGATIVE!!! hehehe.. now i feel relief... thanks for all your advise ;)

jenrick13FemalePhilippines2013-11-30 12:29:00
PhilippinesPPD/ TST positive

Hi jenrick13, the skin test is not so reliable. A lot of people get false-positive or false-negative results..  I am glad your x-ray is normal. The x-ray is more reliable than the skin test.

Now that makes me feel more better. Thank you for the info :-)

jenrick13FemalePhilippines2013-11-28 08:35:00
PhilippinesPPD/ TST positive

Yes it will cause delay on your process because when you do your medical at SLEC and they find something blurry or hazy in your xray, they will still subject gyou to another sputum exam.

But i did the chest xray it says all clear and. No problems. But on the PDD it says positive. Which makes me confused now :(

Hi, I thought they don't do PPD/ TST on adults?

Yeah, they dont do PDD to adults, i only did it just to make sure... But makes confused now coz my xray says all clear but on PDD says positive...

jenrick13FemalePhilippines2013-11-28 06:04:00
PhilippinesPPD/ TST positive
Hello, after we got approved petition of K1 and still haven't got the NVC or Packet3 and still waiting. So, we decided that im going to have an early medical check-up, from blood extract, urine all are negative and even the chest xray is clear but when i did the PDD/TST in a pediatrician its shows positive..and im still on going on a sputum... Will it affect our petition? Or delayed us? Pls i need an advice.. Thanks..

Philippinesdocuments needed for upcoming interview

Hello jenrick thank you! It will help me alot=)
God Bless.

You're welcome. Good luck to us ;)

jenrick13FemalePhilippines2013-12-03 02:12:00
Philippinesdocuments needed for upcoming interview

Hi sis, here's the list for the interview:

1. DS-160  https://ceac.state.g...IV/Default.aspx

2. Passport

3. NSO Birth certificate

4.NBI Clearance

5. POlice Clearance

6. Proof of relationship

7. Divorce Decree (if any)

8. CENOMAR

9. Affidavit of Support (1-134)

10. Visa photos

11. Medical

HERE IS THE STEP BY STEP GUIDE TO HELP FOR FIANCE?S EMBASSY STAGE (MANILA):

Normally, a week or two after you received the NOA2 from the USCIS, NVC (National Visa Center) will send you an email/letter with an assigned case number (starts with MNL) to your petition and informing you that they will forward your paper to the local Consular Office in Manila.

Also,  your fiance should receive a PACKET from the local consular office in the Philippines that contains specific instructions. She has to CAREFULLY follow the instructions and come up with the civil documents that will be required from her, if any.

READ the PACKET of Instruction below to see the checklist for Beneficiary:

http://photos.state.gov/libraries/manila/325288/packets/K1%20and%20K2%20Interview%20Preparation%20Instructions%20-%20English%20_10%20October%202013_.pdf

You can verify if your petition is ready for processing at the local consulate.  Provide the MNL number on the link below

https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?eQs=o/iS8zDpeAKjMWCuebHqOw==

Immediately, provide copy/details of the email/letter you received from the NVC so the alien beneficiary can pay for the embassy fee. The alien needs this information when they pay the embassy fee ($240) to any Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI).   The alien beneficiary must inform the bank that he/she is paying for the K1/Fiance Visa and to bring their passport with them.

Note: The bank has a specific bank deposit slip for K1/Fiance. They need to bring this slip when paying at the bank. Click on the link below to print out the slip.

http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph/pmisdepositslip.htm?amount=240

After paying the embassy fee, Log in back to your account to fill out the electronic DS-160 form.  Make sure to print it after successfully submitting the DS-160.

NOTE:

Effective immediately, all K visa applicants are required to complete the DS-160 Online Nonimmigrant Visa Application. The DS-160 replaces forms DS-156, DS-156K, and DS-230.

For K visa cases already in process at a U.S. embassy or consulate, the DS-160 is not required when, prior to October 7, 2013, one of the following situations exist:

  • The K visa applicant is already scheduled for an interview.

  • The K visa applicant has already been interviewed and has been requested to submit additional documentation or is pending administrative processing.

  • The K visa applicant has already submitted a valid, signed, unexpired DS-156, DS-156K and/or DS-230 or received instructions to do so.

http://travel.state.gov/visa/questions/news/news_4413.html

After paying the embassy fee, Wait for at least 12-24 hours before you make an appointment for the embassy interview.  There are two steps to do this, either the alien beneficiary go on-line or call the consular office. See the link below for details for this procedure.  (We suggest that you make an appointment online).

REGISTER ONLINE FOR EMBASSY INTERVIEW APPOINTMENT (create an account first and go from there)

OVER THE PHONE REGISTRATION FOR EMBASSY INTERVIEW APPOINTMENT (2 links for your reference)

http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3238.html

http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph/ph-main-contactus.asp

As soon as the alien beneficiary already have an appointment date for the interview at the local US embassy, you now have an idea as to when the alien beneficiary will have to travel to Manila. (WHEN FIANCEE IS BASED AND CURRENTLY LIVES IN THE PROVINCE)

At this point in time, log back in to your RapidVisa account. You need to prepare your Affidavit of Support. This is included in your RapidVisa account. Print this document, SIGNED IN ORIGINAL INK, and gather all the documents that will go with this form before mailing them to your fiance physically. The alien beneficiary needs this document at the embassy stage.

For the required medical exam for the alien beneficiary, visit the link below:

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR THE MEDICAL EXAM

http://www.slec.ph/us-visa-applicants.shtml#required-docs

ONLINE REGISTRATION LINK FOR THE MEDICAL EXAM

http://www.slec.ph/us/registration/

NOTE: This is a first-come, first-served basis. This should be done one week before the interview.  Make sure to bring the print out of the on-line registration to St. Luke's Extension clinic at the day of the medical examination.

Finally, after the alien beneficiary is issued their K-1 visa, they need to attend a mandatory seminar required by the Philippine Government. See the link below for that:

http://www.cfo.gov.ph/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=1348:fiancee-spouses-and-other-partners-of-foreign-nationals&catid=140

The above information should only serve as your guidance and should only not be regarded as the normal process as there are different situation for each K1 applicants.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

The application fee for a K1 or K2 nonimmigrant visa is US$240, payable only in Philippine pesos at the prevailing exchange rate. There are three ways to pay the K visa application fee: cash payment at any Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) branch; online payment bill option provided by BPI to their clients; or online payment through Bancnet.

For additional information, please visit http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph. This visa fee is non-transferrable and is valid for one year.

Once you have paid your visa application fee, you may schedule your appointment for your visa interview. To do so, please visit the U.S. Embassy in Manila?s Visa Information and Appointment Service online at http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph or call (632) 982-5555 or (632) 902-8930.

I hope not either. I've got my case number 2 weeks from approval date but I haven't gotten my packet 3 yet. At USEM in Manila, after got a case number, people can go schedule their interview date or do medical unlike beneficiaries from Indonesia that have to wait USEM scheduled the interview date.for us. Just keep us updated and cross fingers you'll get yours sooner.

ohhh every country really have a different policies when it comes to processing... I really wish you luck for sure before the year end you will have it... thank you for the response ;)good.gif God bless to us :)

No agencies can influenced USCIS decision to approved someone's petition. If they helped you to arrange your package in order, yes they can as some people here use lawyers to do that. But, neither lawyers nor agencies can bypass the process on any stage of this process.

Since yours was processing at CSC, expecting you'll be able to get your case number up to 8 weeks since they are notorious on VJ slow to sent approval petition to NVC. Anyhow, you are lucky to get approved that fast and congrats. Waiting is definitely not a pleasure game.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsREQUIREMENTS FOR K1 CO-SPONSOR PHILIPPINES

1.  He will need to provide a statement explaining why he was not required to file.
2.  The requirements are the same as a normal sponsor, except they will have to provide proof of either US citizenship or LPR status
3.  No, there is only one co-sponsor.
4.  The co-sponsor can live anywhere in the US, however the Philippines is very picky about who they will allow to be a co-sponsor if they will allow one at all.

The only required documents for the I-134 co-sponsor is the Form I-134 with original signature, most recent tax return, and proof of citizenship or LPR status.  The employment letter, paystubs, bank letter, etc...these are all optional.  Include only those which will help your case.  For example, if your income is sufficient you don't need to include a letter from the bank.  The employer letter and recent pay stubs will also further help your case and it is recommended to include them...however they are not absolutely required.

Hi thank you so much for the response..

Just last question.. They decided that there co-sponsor will be the cousin of the father's beneficiary... Its it really required that they shoud have the same surname?

And other thing just in case.. Is a friend or not relatives of the petitioner like his manager.. Is it allowed to be a co-sponsor?

Thank u so much...

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsREQUIREMENTS FOR K1 CO-SPONSOR PHILIPPINES

Well, The 129-F was Approved and thats a good start.

The Tax Return for 2013 will be available at the time of the Interview would'nt you think?

Why the question about Co-Sponsor? Is the Petitioner below levels.

Co-Sponsors on a K-1 are rare for the Philippines but can happen but I never heard of a 2nd Co-Sponsor.

Your Friend(s) should keep every Pay-Stub and copy it.  Hopefully, that will meet the Petition Poverty Lines.

It does not matter if the Co-Sponsor is from a different State but remember on a K-1 Visa Petition they don't want to see a Co-Sponsor Petition and that is at their descression.

Hope this helps.

Hello, yes the guy income didn't meet the petition poverty lines. Is it possible to have a Tax Return even he started work by June 2013?

Thank you for the response :)
