USCIS Service Centers	How long does it take to be transferred from UCSIS to NVC??	We received our NOA2 on June 10th. i called the NVC today and they still havnt received anything. then i called USCIS to see if they have sent me, and all they could tell me was that it can take up to 90 days!!! Mexico, Latin & South America	need help choosing DHL location!!!!!! juarez	Cool i appreciate it that man. Makes me feel a whole lot better. We were just gonna wait in juarez which would have sucked with the interview being this friday and monday is a holiday so we wouldnt get the visa untill at the earliest that following tuesday. Thats 4 more days or more just waiting around in juarez and spending more and more money. I think i feel confident now that if we just went back to her hometown in hidalgo after interview it will be at the dhl before i have to be back to work. Im praying anyways!!! National Visa Center (Dept of State)	just received case number	The DS-261 is the same thing as the DS-3032, just online. The DS-260 is the same thing as the DS-230, but online. The DS-3032/DS-261 and DS-230/DS260 should be filled out by the beneficiary. But, as I said earlier in the thread (the post you quoted), the petitioner can fill it out. National Visa Center (Dept of State)	just received case number	Although the beneficiary is supposed to fill out the DS-261, since she doesn't know English, you can fill out the form for her. It was sent from Csc and suppose to be moved to my local office and it ended up in storage. Took them 4 months to fix their mistake! Most congressman or senators have a link on their websites for immigration issues where you can download the consent form directly from them. Once you fill it out and fax it to them along with a copy of your NOA2. If you know where your petition is being held hostage this will speed things up immensely. Just make sure you have it on paper like an email from NVC stating it's location. After you have done that wait a day or 2 then call them. You are not the only one sending them stuff so depending on their work load it may take a few days more for them to get to your casefile. They usually have a person that only deals with USCIS issues and that will be your contact.   From personal experience do not settle for just your congressman. My congressman's office worked more like the DMV and everything took 2 weeks for this and 3 weeks for that. My Senator's office on the other hand took personal interest in my case and it only took 3 days for them verify my petitions location and another 10 business days or so for it to get moved to the NVC. what he said lol, also what I would do is call them like I said before and tell then they never got back to you so they can help faster you dont loose nothing by trying it. Say hello I contact you guys about three weeks ago and you guys told me you were going to get back to me, may I speak to the person that deals with the immigration assistance. When they get you that person explain whats happening tell them you been waiting for the xx amount of time and your I797 says specifically says that it was forward to the NVC. those people can contact USCIS in minutes. The person helping me contacted them very fast, then she got back to me letting me know what was going on. Five minutes later she call me back again asking for some paperwork which is the permit for them into look at your case and get info from USCIS also when you send that add a letter saying that your very frustrated sad and that please to help you asap. after that they will contact USCIS and make them forward your case asap. for example I call them thursday, send her the paperwork the same day and she send the request the same day also and by monday NVC received it. This only works if ur case was initially transferred to a local office from the service centers. U just go on the uscis website and click in the link for info pass appointments Did you call USCIS? I called yesterday to know why my case was retained and the IO was talking ok, but when she checked my file, she ask did you contact a congress person? so i said yes then she is like well go talk to him and get answers from them very very rude, I tried to talk nice to her so she can give me some info but she was just talking very disrespectful and rude so i told her why are you being so rude and ask for her name but she is like "go talk to your congressman bye" and click on me.	domingo y bianca	Male	Mexico	2013-06-27 17:00:00

I really don't care what people say the "Norm" is, when most cases make it to the NVC within 2-3 weeks. Anything more than that, and something is wrong, and you have to pester the hell out of anyone who will listen until something happens. I've really seen the change in my perspective since I started this process, and when I see new users saying things like, "It's been a week and nothing at the NVC!" I'm filled with a mixture of laughter and sadness, and I want to give them a hug and say, "You poor thing, you have no idea what it's really like yet, and I'm sorry if you find out." In mexico you dont get nothing by mail, everything is electronically... first thing you should do is sent the optin, http://www.visajourn...ew_Online_Forms you will find everything there, after you sent the optin which you should do asap, go to ceac.state.gov you need you case number and invoice number call NVC to get it. once you log in do the ds-261 asap... after it has been accepted the IV FEE will be generated and the ds-260 will be available. read everything you need for the supportive docs( everything will be scanned and emailed) for Mexico you dont need the police certificate.
