Canada	Just recived an email from DHL that the passport is in transit YAY	Thank you, you should try to contact DOS and find out if your visa has been printed, Call 202-663-1225 and speak with a representative. Canada	Just picked up my Passport with the VISA in it :)	Just thought I'd let you guys know about the good news ! Also, it was suppose to go to Markham location as I had picked that location on CSC website, but when I got a final email this morning, it stated that it's ready for pickup at their main facility located in Brampton. I thought it was a mistake, but then I decided to call before I headed out, and it was indeed at the wrong location. Anyway, instead of doing anything about it over the phone, I busted a U turn on my rental and went the other way . So the moral of the story is that please don't assume that it'll be at the location you've specified (especially in the GTA as both locations are within 30 kms of each other), call in after you get the final email to verify before you go to pick it up! Thanks again you guys for your support and walking us through this process, couldn't have done it without the VJ family I'm so happy for you! Canada	Finally,I got my waybill number.	Finally,I got my waybill number.My interview was on Oct 18(approval).My visa was issued on Nov 1.I got email from DHL at 6:30Pm,email from CSC at 10:30Pm and I think they posted my waybill number on CSC website at 10:00Pm.So I will pick up in Markham tomorrow. Canada	sarnia/port huron poe today	We sat on the Bridge for 1 hour and 10 minutes... there is construction and it is like that every day untl about 8 at night!!! But after going into the office, everyone was nice and it was just a matter of waiting while they entered stuff in the computer. It was all nonthreatening, no trick questions... and then in 40 minutes we left! I am here!! YAY Once again thank you so much to you all ... this site is worth a thousand lawyers!!! Congratulation!!! Canada	Are they trying to "weed us out?"	We are having the same problem. Have been trying for 5 weeks. A lot of time wasted when you do not know if and when appointment slots will be opened.I have written the Ambassador, my Congressman, and the consulate. Have spoken with State Dept. They say they cannot interfere with the interview process. They all say keep trying.We try in the evening,morning,afternoon and late at nite with nothing available. I agree, why do they not assign an appointment when they issue the Packet 4???????? I wish somebody could tell us when they post slots!!!! Good Luck to us all!! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	How to start my son's K2 visa?	eh - K2 FTJ cases are really strange in Guangzhou - you've made it doubly strange since you've got a MTL casefile #. BUT - in essense - what ya do (really) is [now this is different from what I've told you so far, aye?] Send in the Packet 3 documents on the child to GUZ IV. Once they have it - they will get yer casefile out of SAFEFILE system, and then assign your son an interview date. Study this a bit, as you need some forms: GUZ IV forms http://guangzhou.use...and_packets.htm When you send in the packet 3 checklist and DS-230 Part I - make sure you include a cover letter, written in English, reminding them to transfer your casefile, and include a copy of your NOA-2 and MTL casefile #. Don't wait any longer to call NVC - GUZ IV won't begin doing anything without the packet 3 returned by your son. Good Luck ! When you email in again - ASK FOR Consular Review of your email, by a Visa Officer. ALSO - NVC can also request a casefile transfer - in essence, this is what you need - talk to a Supervisor at NVC, ask them to initiate a SAFEFILE COPY REQUEST on yer casefile, FROM MTL to GUZ IV.
