Oh no! I am so sorry. I guess that is a scarry event that can happen to any of us. Only time will heal. Hang in there.

United KingdomNVC to Consulate time frame
They, the NVC, cancelled out the I-129F since the I-130 was approved. It was converted to the CR-1 visa. Does that help?

(Mind the Gap) Thanks for the reply. It seems the steps to get him here goes on and on. It can be very frustrating, but I do my best to focus on the final outcome. :)

Oh yes! Congrads on the visa! Nice to see a couple get reunited again after such a long wait. :)

I am so jealous of all of you! :) I am still in the process to have my cute british husband join me here in America. We have not seen each other since February of this year when I had to fly back due to my grandmother being ill in the hospital. We are at the end of the process with the NVC now and I just want this nightmare of being apart over with now!

United KingdomUK electrical appliances in the US
I brought back from the UK a hair dryer, straightener and electric razor. The straightener works great. The dryer was barely working. And, the electric razor did not even charge up enought to use! I guess it all depends on what type of electric equipment you bring over from the UK. I am keeping them for when I fly back to visit my inlaws. :)

K-3 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresI129F and I130 approved! Now, a question...
The same thing happened to me and my husband, and they would not allow me to keep the I-129F, because it was approved the same time as the I-130. We have to wait for the CR1 process now. Believe me, if there was a way to get my husband here earlier, I would have found it.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsCSC Just Reported Processing Times for October
LisaMarie - I know exactly how you feel. I have not seen my husband since February of this year. It is torture having to wait through all of these different stages in the immigration process. Sometimes, I wish I just stayed in the UK with my husband, and told my mother to find someone else to care for my elderly grandmother. Not that I don't love her, but being apart from my husband makes me feel very incomplete.

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresApprovals? NOA2's?
My husband and I are going through the AOS process now. We have not seen each other since February of this year. It is so unfair that a husband and wife has to go through all of these steps... go through all these months apart.... feeling lonely and not complete.... just so some stranger behind a desk can take their time deciding if they think it is alright for us to be physically together to live as a normal husband and wife. Gets so frustrating being apart from the one you love most in this world!

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresMarch Filers Out There....
I was told by an immigration attorney to send the I-129F to help get my husband over here quicker. The I-129F was accepted too, but closed due to the I-130 being accepted. I know that they received my husband's packet on the 4th of October, and they have had my packet for a few weeks now. Just want this final process to go quicker!

I sent a letter to my local representative and she forwarded it to one of the state senator's office here in Ohio. I don't know if it helped or not, but a couple days later, my approval with the immigration office came through. I just included all the info I could. Our receipt number, my full name, my husbands full name, our addresses and phone numbers and a brief explanation of why I was contacting them for help. I hope this helps you? :)

You will be surprised in the end to find out that much of this info people say you need to show will never be asked to be seen in the end. I have found in this journey that a lot of the things I have read on here, did not happen on my case.... I submitted two letters that were notorized to prove that my husband and I were married in the UK and have been together for over 3 years.... I was told by the immigration office that that is all anyone needs.

Not happy with some of the rude comments on here about my case. As it happens, there are other factors in our case that do qualify us for it. I am sorry if people are offended or jealous about it. We all have had to wait a long time being apart from our loved ones. Cruel comments are not the answers.

The best advice is to write your state senator's office. They will see if you fit in an expedited situations and contact the NVC. I know they don't agree to do them all, but as my husband has said, nothing ventured nothing gained. I wish everyone luck on this. :)

My husband had his interview on November 18th at the London Embassy. He was able to do his interview, but the CO could not give an approval or denial, because the medical was still not there. My husband did his medical on November 12th. He was told once the medical came, they would let him know via email or post if he was denied or approved. Today, he received a letter from them stating they want a second interview with him on December 8th. Does anyone out there know anything about why a second interview would be needed? Thanks

Richie, if you are reading this, take it from someone that worked in the court system with the federal government....go talk to an immigration attorney now. Be totally honest with him or her and show everything you have. This is NOT the time to do it on your own anymore.
