K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	September 2013 Filers	Well, my interview is tomorrow and I'm, obviously, pretty much terrified. It feels like this journey has taken forever, but if we get a yes tomorrow, then our journey has just begun :-)   I've copied my entire packet, have a co-sponsor as back-up, triple-checked that I brought my passport, birth certificate, divorce decree and police certificate. I'm as ready as I can be - one final hurdle and I can be with my soulmate.   Wish us luck folks. And congrats to everyone who has reached the end of the K-1 journey successfully. GOOD LUCK!! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	September 2013 Filers	Hi.   Question: Have any of your significant others lived in the US previously under a work visa etc for at least 12 months? Mine did many years ago. I am curious if anyone had to also get a US Police Clearance? you don't need a police clearance from USA. They are checking all you background anyway... I last entered US under J1 visa and then change the status to B2, 2 time for 6 months... so I stayed in the US for 14 months and was no problem when I had the interview for K1. When did you two met? Where was he born? Are his parents alive? (only his Mom is) What's her name? Have you met her? Have you met her husband? Where are they living? Where is my fiance working? how does he get to work? (by car) What car does he have? What is normally is work schedule? What are your wedding plans?   .... ok, I will approve your visa!   There were 2 other women for K1 ahead of me and they were approved too.     Good luck everyone, hang in there, good thing are coming soon!! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	September 2013 Filers	I got NOA2 on Nov 15, but still no case number. I called NVC and DOS last week and this week... "the file is not in the system yet" was the answer received. I have also sent NVC an email yesterday.
