K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NOA2	I did the same thing; however my normal processing time was 5 months.  I was quite shocked to receive it so quickly.  If you haven't received an RFE yet then live by what I was living by "no news is good news"  This is a very hard process to go through when you just want to be with the one you love, but as I keep saying whats a few months for a life time together.  You will get yours soon.	crystalandrhonda	Not Telling	Barbados	2014-02-11 00:20:00

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NOA2	After the long process, many months endured of being apart USCIS approved our petition today. At 8:35 pm I received an email simply stating our status had changed.  I quickly signed on to USCIS to see we went from initial review to post decision and that a letter was mailed out today with further instructions on our approved petition.  We are both crying like crazy and extremely happy.	crystalandrhonda	Not Telling	Barbados	2014-02-05 21:33:00
K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Consulate	I just got off the phone with USCIS and they told me that my application was sent to her consulate.  That fiance visas don't always go to NVC because they have a limited time to process these visas.  Whereas other visas have to go through NVC first.  She also said that I am to give them one month to process and that my fiance will receive her case number by mail through them.  I asked her about the department of state that my email notified me of, she then stated that it is the state department within the consulate in her country.  She also told me that at this point I need to mail all of our packet to her.  Which all of it is together except for the affidavit of support which I better get finished and in the mail asap. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Consulate	I received an email today stating that my application was sent to the department of state.  When I read the NOA2 in the mail it stated that it was sent to the above listed consulate.  Now I am rather conflicted by what this means.  How can it go straight to the consulate? They told us it took 2-4 weeks so we said at least that's faster then 3 months it was at uscis and to our surprise it was sent to the consulate two days later. Uscis says it's processing and the alien registration number was changed. I read on here that only California and Vermont do the processing. Which confuses me because my noa1 doesn't mention transferring it to another state. At the bottom of the letter it says texas service center. I'm assuming that's where it's processing.
