Hi everybody!
Do some of you had their Interview in Montreal?
My Interview is gonna be the 19 of mai and I was wondering a long it take after the interview to receive my visa by the mail. 4 days? 1 week? 2 weeks?

I thing they tell us right of way if we have our visa at the interview, nah? And then, they send the visa by the mail?

Thank you! :hehe:

Hey Kev

I actually have the same story of you. The border block me the access to the States for the same reason of you and send me back with a sheet of paper asking me to bring some paperwork....Then I show up again and I never had problem again. Yeah somes questions each time I across but they let me pass....How many time did you visit your boyfriend And for how long? I usually stay for 2 or 3 months and come back for 1 month.....Did the person who interview you at the consulate ask that? This is your case too??

Well, good luck, my interview is in 7 days, I gonna continue to come see what happening with you, I hope you are not gonna have problem !

Hi guys (sorry for my English, this is not my first language)

I just get done with all the paperwork for the K-1 fiancée form and My interview date in Montreal is the 19 of May. In the documents to bring overthere, it say to make a copy of everything. I did make one for police certificate, passport, alls de forms and birth certificate. Do I really need to make a copy of the evidence of support (all the taxe paper)?

Tank you :)

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresWaiting in the US?

I am going down for my second trip to see my fiancee at the beginning of June and we are going to be sending off for the K-1 Fiancee Visa. From what I understand from reading tons and researching at some point I will have to have an interview and a medical done, my question is because I can go down to the US for 6 months -1 day in a year, what happens if the interview comes up and I am still down in the US with my fiancee, I am planning to go down for about 4 months. Am I able to do the interview from the US or will I have to go back to Canada to do it?

Hi!
I'm in the same boat of you but I'm way more fare then you!
I receive my interview date in the consulate on montreal for the 19 of may, so in 10 days. Before all that, I was visiting my boyfriend in Michigan couple months at the time.....I had a lot of trouble with the bordel patrol....Maybe you only starting to do you visit but watch out. At my last visit to the US, the bordel totally told me that i'm running my visa when I come often like that. word for word : you are toasted if I block you from the U.S.A. You are not gonna be able to see you fiancé anymore. If I don't let you go, you are not gonna have a interview in may......

WAAAAOOOOOWWW.....I cry like a baby....

I all the time visit my boyfriend often and all the time the bordel give me chit.....I don't know if it's 6 months by year or if the 6 months restart each time I come back.... There don't have one border patrol with the same answer....

So watch out. Me I have to stay in canada until i get my visa. It's fine, in less than a month I gonna be done with all that.
Just be carful.

By the way, the consulate will contact you before you get your appointment, don't worry. You need to do you interview here...
don't #### with then, They can decide ANYTHING......

good luck :)

the question his, do some of you had problem a t the interview because of all the visit you had in the usa? I did visit 2 or 3 months at the time for a lot of time. Do the person who interview me know all the information that the bordel patrol put in the computer on you??

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresYes, you can visit!
Hi Guys (I'm sorry for my English)!!!

I'm Canadian, 20 years old and I'm waiting for my interview in Montreal the 19 may for my K-1 fiancé visa. I just want to let you know guys That I across more than 8 times for a time of 2 to 3 months of visiting in USA. I come back in Canada for 2 weeks or a month and I don't have problem.
My second time when I across the border thought I was coming for work, they send me back with paperwork to bring back: paper of residence, school, job, mother paper,blablablabla.... I came back and never I had proplem to across. Of course I have to speack with the boder patrol for fiew minutes or hours, but they all the time let me go. I bring all my immigration paper and they really see that I'm gonna come back. I all the time buy a ticket go and comeback, like that They are really sure that I'm gonna comeback.
Just do it! The worst that can appen to you, you gonna have to return home, but never they will block you of U.S.A

good look guys!
