Thank u

Just out of curiosity, how did you request for an expedite? just called USCIS?

Are there any F2-A filers who are in Vermont Service Center in this forum? Have you guys received any approvals?

Finally got approved guys. My Noa1 was dated 01/21/14. Approved and sent to NVC 07/14/14. From what I hear for us Canadians, it will take us yet another 6 months from this date to get an interview in Montreal! Halfway there...Yay!

You are lucky you were at NSC being an F2-A petition. I've been stuck in Vermont and they are processing September 25th, 2013 cases for F2-A. I don't think I'm going to see the light of an approval anytime this year. I've completely lost faith and hope. Either way the priority date for F2A is no where near current. There should be a separate thread for F2-A VSC since they are so far behind. Why are they the only ones not processing at the 5 month standard?

I am very vexed at this moment. Being a permanent resident, the 5 month processing time does not apply to me. I checked the VSC processing time and it seems they are processing applications from September 25th, 2013. 4 months away!! Are you kidding me?? Whereas TSC average processing time is 5 months for permanent residents as well. This is very heart breaking and makes me very sad. Hope is just fading away from me. Is there any way for me to transfer or change to NSC. At least I won't have to wait so God awful long. sigh.

Congratulations to all the approvals! I'm also part of the UK bandwagon, without the approval though. Jan 17th PD but no news from USCIS. I recently moved and changed my address online. A day later I got a text from USCIS and got excited, but it was just confirming the change of address.

Definitely feeling everyone's frustrations. I hope to hear some good news at least this month. 7 days till my 5 month mark. Looking and hoping for good news :-/

Congrats @cbrammer1219

That is really great news and all of us here are happy for you.

@Prixxi82 - Kudos and thank you for making this spreadsheet. It will be a great tracker for all of us.

There's still no news on my end. PD of Jan 17th. However, For those who are in the F2-A category, there is bad news. The June 2014 VB came out and I was very shocked today...very shocked to see that visa bulletin for worldwide category has retrogressed to May 01, 2012. Not even 2013, but 2012!!!

I'm really appalled by this and it really hurts. Even though the priority date had not moved from the September 2013 date, at least having it there gave some sort of comfort that we were still a little closer. I guess this was inevitable, but now I don't even know what to do and how to break this news to her. At this rate, if there is no steady forward movement from the May 2012 PD by the end of the year, I might just leave the US temporarily for a year or so in order to be with her.

It's probably going to be a big shift and change but at least we will be together. It will also postpone my minimum required days toward citizenship but there seems to be no other option :-(. At this point, hope is a word that means nothing and this is very disheartening to hear.

Anyway good luck to all, and if any of you share similar pains to mine, feel free to share your story.

@bgammoh
I know what you mean. My wife is feeling the same way. She's assumed that this will now not happen until possibly early next year. My fear after reading the latest May visa bulletin is that nothing may happen until mid next year for F2A :( they've clearly stated they plan on retrogression for worldwide categories. My heart sank and I couldn't bear to give the news to my wife. I just got back from visiting her in London and it was really heart breaking and painful having to say goodbye to her everytime. I've already resigned myself to the fact that there will be no movement or change to F2a until July or September in the visa bulletin.

@prixxi82
That is a great ideA! Is there something on the Vj site that currently tracks this? If not then for all the January filers we could do a google doc spreadsheet to indicate applocation status rfe etc. Dates of approval would be a must. Is be happy to get it started and post a link if that's within the rules. What does everyone think? Or do we have something like this already?

Hey!

My I-130 is at similar time January 20,2014 at Vermont service center! Good luck to us all...

Good luck indeed! My wife gets very upset every month when she sees that the priority date isn't moving forward. I've already accepted that it may possibly not move forward until september of this year, but we would find it very hard if it retrogressed. Just praying everyday and hoping for a miracle! In the mean time congrats to those whose cases are being worked on. I've got my fingers crossed to at least receive NOA2 in the next month or so.

btw

@cbrammer1219 - What was the RFE related - if you wouldn't mind sharing? I think a lot of us are a lot more anxious/curious now that there seems to be some movement happening with our cases :)

My bank was willing to allow us to add with notary, and then faxing back, unfortunately time didn't allow for us to do this. However when she returned to Cambodia we were able to buy a place by sending the paperwork via fax and email for her to sign, we also used Skype during this process, Technology is great but can't wait to never have to use it again...smile.png

I know the feeling! We use viber and facetime and while it's great, I can't wait to be done with it. On the plus side, I just checked my bank account and seems like they've cashed the check! waiting for email notification and priority date!

Hello everyone. Finally sent all documents over today. So hopefully it will reach them by tomorrow or day after. Really hoping to get first NOA within the next two weeks (including priority date). I'm with all of you. Can't wait until this process gets underway. It's hard being away from my wife. I'm hoping the petition gets approved within 6 months but also more than that I'm hoping the f2A category priority date moves forward ! Good luck everyone!
