US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	How often do you guys communicate with your spouses abroad	I know how you feel. Me and my fiance talk on msn everyday, and on skype mostly on the weekends. Sometimes he calls me but it's been a while cuz it's expensive. When I'm not able to be online we text. That's about it. We always try to talk to each other everyday, sometimes it's not possible but it's ok. There was a time when I noticed he wasn't talking to me as much. That upset me so much cuz I really miss him and I needed the connection with him to carry on. But guys are different. Guys sometimes don't even notice they are not giving us enough attention. US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	k1 Interview	Hi everyone, I have a doubt concerning the interview date at the consulate in Rio de Janeiro. Last week, I sent an e-mail to the embassy asking for the interview date, giving them my NVC case number starting with RDJ... They replied instantly with a day, November 30th. The thing is, I did not get the packet 4 with the letter and all the forms. I asked them about it and they said I don't have to wait for the packet, since all the information and forms I can find on their website. So, can I trust this? If I didn't send the e-mail, how would I know the day of the interview with no packet? ( cuz there are just 2 weeks left for the interview. I've read here that they usually give us more than a month to get everything ready). I live really far from Rio de Janeiro and I'm afraid of flying over there and no interview. Thank you in advance. In the consulate instructions they say: The sponsor must attach proof of his/her income such as: copy of last U.S. Federal Income Tax (form 1040), proof of current employment, job offer, pay-slip, etc. So it seems to me that they give examples of what can prove his income, not that one or another is really required. So, I'm getting ready for my interview on November 30th and I have a doubt about the supporting documentation that needs to be attached to the I-134 form. The instructions say the US citizen, IF self-employed, has to send the last income tax return filed. My fiance is not self-employed and he is above the poverty line, having an income of more than $50,000. So what he sent me is a letter of his employer, transactions history of the last 3 months, electronic paystubs. Is that enough? Do I need other kind of evidence of his income? Also on item 10 'I have submited a visa petition..." He put None. Does that change anything? He thought it was refering to a previus petition and it seemed pretty obvious for him that since he I'm named on item 3, item 10 was not refering to the present petiton. US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	I-134 form problem please help!	Hello everyone, I have a problem with the affidavit of support my fiance sent me. On item 11 (I intent or do not intent to make specific contributions...) he checked intent and explained that I, the beneficiary, will receive any help I'm required, funished house, money, as his fiancee/wife forever or until he dies. I've seen the example forms here and it was supposed to be left blank and state "N/A filling with k1 visa for permanent residence. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	RFE but no letter yet!!! It's been over a month!	Hi guys, I'm very worried about my process and hope you can help me with my problem. On July 13, we got a RFE but never got the letter to know what they are requesting. My fiance called INS several times to inform that and they said they were sending another letter and that our time had been extended. But on August 2, I checked the status of our case and it said that they were sending the petition back because it is undeliverable. We contacted them and they said everything was ok, that we had to wait but still no letter! What is going on? Has this happened to anyone of you guys? He should also have enclosed a passport type photo of you. The memo is pretty clear that if these are not included that they ARE NOT to send an RFE for them but to ask for them at the interview. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	G-325A form	Actually, by internal memo and department "policy" the G-325a for a foreign beneficiary can be presented at the interview at the foreign consulate. I would get one prepared and have it ready to take with you to the interview. The form IS part of the process. I doubt you will get another RFE, THAT would be very unusual. It is also unusual they did not ask for one for him. I would make sure you have original, signed, G-325a's at the interview for both of you. Ohh hope you're right. In the mean time it might be helpful to list here everything that you did include in your packet so we can let you know if there's anything else important you may have missed. Yeah I thought of calling them first but I guess we will just have to wait now and hope they don't send us another RFE, if that's possible lol hope is the last to die. This is copied directly from USCIS website. 6. What Other Documents Do You Need? A. Submit a completed and signed Form G-325A (Biographic Information) for you and a completed and signed Form G-325A for your fiancé(e). Except for name and signature, you do not have to repeat on the Biographic Information form the information given on your Form I-129F. Ohh well If they need it, why didn't they ask fo it. So I don't know, my fiance says I worry too much about it. I've' thought of calling USCIS and ask about this form. I don't know if we can just send it to them if they didn't ask for it. What did they specifically ask you for and what had you sent to prove the relationship? (just curious why you got a RFE). I'd suggest filling them out, attaching the passport photos, and signing them so that you have them ready to go. Yeah that's weird. I've sent the signed form to my fiance but since they didn't say anything about it, he didn't sent it. We were afraid of overloading them with things they didn't ask. And my fiance says they don't ask for this form on the USCIS site, that the only form is the I129F, but I read everywhere ppl talking about this G-325A form. We got a RFE because they needed more evidence of the relationship, they didn't ask for the form. So, since they asked just for more evidence, he didn't send the G-325A Form, just a lot of proof that we met and are in an ongoing relationship. So my doubt is: Is this form really part of the initial process? If yes, why they didn't mention anything about it. Will they ask for it on the interview or are we probably going to get another RFE? We didn't send the G-325 with the original package and were approved anyway, that's why they can ask for it in the interview.
