USCIS Service Centersvermont processing time ??
Susana and my paperwork went to Vermont as well. We received our NOA 1 on October 30th. Then, "On November 6, 2012, your Alien Registration Number was changed relating..." etc. We are still praying and keeping our fingers crossed. Good luck everyone!

USCIS Service CentersVSC?
We filed on October 19, 2012 and received our NOA 1 on October 30, 2012. We have not heard a whisper. It is frustrating.

Waivers (I-601 and I-212) and Administrative Processes (221g)FINALLY! A website that explains Administrative Processing limbo

Thank you for your replies.  No arrests in our lives and i make six figures +.  Why all this delay?  I am really sick of this.  Why didn't i bring her to Mexico and just drive her across?  This system is really the worst!

I understand but this is infuriating.  We have jumped through every hoop.  The paperwork is meticulous.

At least it tells you that the consul can tell you that you are approved, but your status will still be AP.

I know this website says Kuala Lumpur, but it explains that even when you have been approved, the CEAC site will still say "Administrative Processing" for your status.

We have been so stressed and frustrated by this process. It really need to be updated to be more informative.  After all, we are doing it legally!

I hope this puts other couples at ease as it did us.

Good luck everyone.

Waivers (I-601 and I-212) and Administrative Processes (221g)Administrative processing

Thank you very much sir. I have checked on ceac that my status is "issued". Is this is what i think it is?

Very good!  Issued means you are almost done.  You have to take that seminar in Manila and then book your flight.  We are still waiting in AP but they kept her passport so I hope we will soon be in "Issued" mode as well.  Congratulations!

Waivers (I-601 and I-212) and Administrative Processes (221g)Can't take it anymore

Yes, we have been waiting in AP as well.  I used to be very confident and positive.  Now I just wait unemotionally.  i keep hoping and praying but I'm numb from this process.  I have even thought of moving to the Philippines so we can be together.  May all of us have good luck and get the "Issued" notice soon.  Good luck everybody!

Waivers (I-601 and I-212) and Administrative Processes (221g)Day 60 on AP....

Call your U.S. Senator and ask to speak to an immigration case worker.  You will have to fill out and email a release to them allowing them to view your case.  They can get an answer from the embassy within 24 hours.  Then at least you'll know where you stand.

Waivers (I-601 and I-212) and Administrative Processes (221g)Administrative Processing Message

She didn't get any letter and they told her she would get her passport and visa in 10 days to two weeks.  That was a month ago.  They still have her passport.  I guess we have to wait another year?!  JEEZ

Your case is under administrative processing. Please see the letter you received at your interview for more information. If you are required to submit additional documents, please submit them to the U.S. Embassy via any branch of 2GO courier service (Attn: Immigrant Visa Unit) together with a copy of the letter.

If further information/review is needed, you will be notified once we have completed our review of your case.

Consular officers need to be reasonably satisfied that all issues have been addressed before a final determination is made regarding visa issuance.

The time required to process a visa application to conclusion varies by case and depends on its complexity, along with the number and intricacy of other cases awaiting review.

Do not finalize travel plans, purchase plane tickets, dispose of property, or cease employment until a visa is delivered to you. We are unable to commit to issuing a visa on a certain date.

Under the U.S. Immigration and Nationality Act, Immigrant Visas for "Diversity Visas" cannot be issued after September 30th of the year in which you were selected to apply for a Diversity Visa. For example, entrants into the Diversity Visa Program in Fall of 2011 were selected for Diversity Visa 2012 Program, and selectees MUST apply and receive their visa prior to September 30, 2012 otherwise they lose eligibility to receive a Diversity Immigrant Visa, regardless of additional administrative processing.

In addition, please note that some immigrant visas may not be able to be issued if the annual numerical limit for that category has been reached.

Waivers (I-601 and I-212) and Administrative Processes (221g)Administrative Processing changed to Ready

Thanks to all of you.  I submitted our paperwork on October 19, 2012 so it has been a long, frustrating process.  I will only believe it when she is in my arms at Dulles Airport!

Waivers (I-601 and I-212) and Administrative Processes (221g)Administrative Processing changed to Ready

My Fiancee's interview was June 24th, they kept her passport, and she has been in AP since then.  They called her three weeks ago and asked for my taxes which I faxed to them.

Today our status changed to Ready and it says,

Your case is open. Please check your status after two business days via the CEAC launch page at https://ceac.state.gov/CEAC/.

Do you think we are finally in the home stretch?  Are we finally there?

CONGRATS! HOW LONG WERE U PUT ON AP?

Since June 24.  Then on August 23, it changed to Ready.  On August 26, back to AP.  Fianlly on August 28, Issued.  They should be more clear on the meaning of these statuses...uh statusi?  After all, we are doing this the legal way.  Thanks for the congrats!

Waivers (I-601 and I-212) and Administrative Processes (221g)Finally...Issued!

It has been a long, long process since we started this last October 19th, but we are finally in "Issued" status.  Hip, hip, hooray!

In the Philippines I believe she has to take a seminar before she can leave for the U.S.  Does anyone know how she accomplishes this?

Thanks in advance for your answers.

Waivers (I-601 and I-212) and Administrative Processes (221g)AP-Ready-AP Status and creation date change

We had the same interview date. Checked my acct on CEAC,..

                                      Issued

Application ID or Case Number:   MNL2013.................. 01 MNL

Case Creation Date:                    24-Jun-2013

Status Updated Date:                  12-Jul-2013

I was thinking case creation date should be the interview date.( though i'm not sure with this). Anyway sometimes mix-up in the system is normal.  The good thing is they keep updating your case. Did you try to call embassy to know the real status? I went to AP for 1 day and then ISSUED the next day. Hoping for your visa issuance soon!!!!

Thank you.  Our status changed to "Issued" today so we are very happy.  Thanks and God bless you!

Waivers (I-601 and I-212) and Administrative Processes (221g)AP-Ready-AP Status and creation date change

She was given nothing at the interview and they kept her passport.  The consul told her everything is fine and that she should hear something in a week to 10 days.  Nothing for over a month.  Then she got a phone call that they wanted my taxes.  I faxed them the very next day.  Then three more weeks until now.  I prepared our paperwork and it was meticulous so I just don't understand.

Waivers (I-601 and I-212) and Administrative Processes (221g)AP-Ready-AP Status and creation date change

Maybe someone can explain this to me.  Originally, our case was created at the embassy on May 14.  She had her interview on June 24.  Our case was in AP until August 23 and changed to Ready.  Now on August 27, our case status is again in AP and our case creation date is now August 23.

This is so frustrating because there seems to be no rhyme or reason for what they are doing.  If anyone can explain it to me, I will be eternally grateful.

Take care and thanks!

Thank you.  I was wondering what could be wrong.  I put together a notebook with each document in a plastic sleeve with a table of contents.  It is meticulous.  I live in the Washington, DC area, make plenty of money, and my house is paid off.  I mean darn it!  What do they want a bribe?  Joking!  It's just very frustrating.

June 24th...The consul told my fiancee that her visa application was approved, but the site says "Your case is under administrative processing. Please see the letter you received at your interview for more information."  But she didn't receive a letter.  Also, they kept her passport.  I hope everything is ok.  Has anyone else had this happen?  Thank you!

PhilippinesAirline Tickets

Thanks for all the replies.  I really wanted to fly her on Korean Air because there is only one stop and a short four hour layover in Seoul-Incheon.  She can take a shower there.  Then the long 14 hour flight to Dulles.  I flew that route last year and Korean Prestige is the only way to go.  I will drive out to Dulles this weekend to their corporate office and speak to them in person.  Will advise...

PhilippinesAirline Tickets

I am trying to purchase my fiancee's one-way ticket to come here, but on the airline's website,

"According to Philippines law, all flight tickets for flights departing from the Philippines cannot be purchased from any region other than the Philippines."

I called Korean Air and the woman said that unless she has her "Green Card" we have to buy her a round-trip ticket.

BTW, she has her Fiancee Visa and CFO sticker.  Can anyone offer me some advice?

Gary and SusanaMalePhilippines2013-09-13 09:28:00
PhilippinesTickets Purchased!

Thursday October 3rd, Manila-Aquino to Seoul-Incheon to Washington-Dulles.  I went to Dulles on Saturday and purchased Korean Air tickets for her in person, and they were $900.00 cheaper than online (Prestige Sleeper Seat).  I think they are the only Airline that adheres to the law that you can't buy one-way tickets out of the Philippines from anywhere but in the Philippines.  You can get around it by going to the Airport in person and giving them all of the information.  They then make an electronic purchase for you in Manila.  They called her on her cell last evening and emailed the E-Ticket shortly thereafter.

Korean Air is GREAT!  She will be so surprised when they lead her to her seat!
