Could you guys tell me how to post a topic on the forums here on this site ? !   2. We also got our Notice of Approval by the 8th of July , We havent called to the NVC yet !! Thanks for telling me now what to do !    3. Could You guys list or send me the link of the Papers i need to bring for the INterview !   4 Is it true that me as the beneficiary to show a document called NBI clearences ( where i get this from ? is it for certain countries or all of us should add this document ??)    besides my police records ?? !     If you could reply these questions ,,, I would be very thankful !!!  Talk to you soon People !  and I almost forget ! CONGRATS GUYS !! - Hopefully it will be a shorter journey from now to finally get the Visa !!!   1.  Just open the forums section at the top, choose which forum you want to go to, and click start new topic. 2.  Start calling the NVC now, and every day until you get your case number from them. 3.  Bring everything that you can that will prove your relationship.  As well as that, there are specific forms you have to fill out.  Check the guides section of this website.  Some things are country specific. 4.  NBI clearance is specific to the Philippines I think.  The guides will clarify this for you.   Welcome to VJ!!  Good luck on the rest of the process. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	October 2012 K1 filers	Can anyone explain why there are a substantial number of CSC approved K-1 petitions with a NOA1 date in August, Sept, November, and December...and almost no CSC approvals for October? It's almost as if they lost all of their October files! VSC is a bit more orderly in how petitions have been processed. With CSC...it is essentially "last come-first serve". This is inherently unfair to October filers...and sets an ugly precedent for the future. If you don't believe me, look at Igor's List for CSC approved K-1 petitions in October. There are only 4, but approvals for November and December, respectively, are 18 and 35! I'm not a hip-hopster...but I gotta say "Wassup wit dat?". It makes no sense at all. I was under the impresión that he would not be able to go back to his country to visit his Family until he had his residency which I heard can be like a year. I guess I heard wrong about that too!? How long before he can go back? DJ you know how long the process is after marriage for work permit and international travel? Plan on at least 90 days for the work permit and advance parole. If they wake up and start going forward from July, I've got about 2 months. Either way, I'm waiting. It's sad but true Me and my fiance decided not to make ANY weeding plans until I have the visa stamped in my passport. We understand 3 months might not be enough to plan a weeding, so we will probably marry in the city hall and have a separate ceremony after. I think there is something very chic in marrying at the city hall! It's tres chic!! I've already got the mayor of my town on board for the ceremony, whenever that will be. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	October 2012 K1 filers	Hi everyone, we filed on October 12th and I called on March 12th to get an expedition, but found out today that our request has not qualified for expedited servicing of the I-129F so we're back into the date receipt order queue :-( Has ANYONE from CSC who is an October filer been approved yet??? We are ecstatic and thankful. I am especially thankful for the advice and support of members trough this first step and for this site in general. I've met so many wonderful people over the last few months and hope to meet an lot more as we progress. I have updated my timeline so that VJ is up to date and good luck to all filers!!!!!! Wow!! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	October 2012 K1 filers	I called VSC today and spoke with a tier two officer and was told that yes they have updated their processing times to 5 months but that is just a number they strive for , it actality its 6 to 7 months??? I was also told that I should have an decision within 60 days if not less.... I cant understand any of this - Friday is our 6 month date I was hoping and praying his interview would be sometime in July if we were approved this month - now who knows?? You shouldn't worry. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	October 2012 K1 filers	Last night I emailed the USCIS ombudsman about my concerns regarding the processing times at CSC and my pending case. This morning, I received the same response that someone else posted on visajourney yesterday: The processing time at CSC has slipped due to other processing priorities, but they are currently moving resources to the I-129f cases. As they do so, they anticipate the processing time to decrease. (My letter said not to copy and paste it, otherwise I would have posted it here) Here is the ombudsman email: OLUInquiries@dhs.gov I suggest everyone write to them. No matter if you just received your NOA1 last week, or if you have been waiting months. It takes 5 minutes to write a couple of sentences about your concern regarding the processing times for K-1 fiance visas at CSC. It seems they are finally doing something about it, and if we keep the pressure on, maybe they will realize just how bad it has gotten. I just sent the Ombudsman en email. I have also enlisted the help of one of Ohio's senators, and my congressional rep. Tomorrow, my day off, I will recontact the other senator. I sent him a contact request a few weeks ago and haven't heard back yet. I'm 2 days past the 6 month mark now. You can't file the service request until after the 5 month window. In the meantime, lets all just CELEBRATE anyway, because at least we're not stuck in the horrific traffic jam that is CSC.. Lets count our lucky stars! I'm not celebrating. I honestly feel great for you VSC filers. I wish I was that lucky. There's nothing but doom and gloom at the end of the week here...every week. We're planning on a courthouse wedding and then a reception with family and friends. Not much has been decided besides that BUT the wedding bands are being molded and will be ready in two weeks!! We've made it to the 5 month mark! not that it's worth much anymore with the way processing times are going, but at least we're getting closer! Congrats to us all I REALLY hope CSC starts picking up the slack!! It makes it really difficult for my fiance and I to plan our lives when we don't know when the visa will go through!! We are facing a paradoxical situation right now: I (USC) am currently interviewing for teaching jobs for the upcoming school year but I'm reluctant to sign a year-long contract without knowing when the visa will go through! On one hand, if I accept the job and for some reason the visa doesn't go through, I'll have to back out of a signed contract and move abroad on short notice. On the other hand, if I put off signing a contract to wait for the visa to go through then I'll likely be without a job which defeats the purpose of us living in the U.S. We've decided to stay confident about the process and just wait it out.. there's no reason that we should be denied *(knock on wood)*. but it's hard not to imagine the worse case scenario. It's really frustrating to have our future PENNDIINNNG upon the ultimate decision of the government and to have no control in the matter.. I'm sure you all understand my frustration!! Anyway, I hope these upcoming months go by in a breeze and that we will all have NOA2s & Interview dates very soon so that we can all get back to the arms of our loved ones I feel the same as you do. I have just started a new job about a month ago...moving abroad is not possible for me, (I have a 9 year old daughter.) It's approval or nothing for me. I think all the ducks have been lined up though. Luckiliy(?) for me I've planned the meagerest of weddings once she arrives. I think we'll have a larger celebration later, once she is settled in and we get all the follow-up ####### done, (AOS and EAS and AP, and all those other initials.)
