Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionBiometrics for children, does their mother have to be there?
Never mind, we decided to all go together and see if we can convince Newark to collect biometrics for all three on the same day.

Thanks again.
David.

My step-daughters have a separate biometrics appointment from their mother. For their appointment I want to take them and leave my wife home with the baby. Is there any reason I can't do this? If it makes a difference we are going to the ASC in Newark, NJ.

Thanks.
David.

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionDMV license and extension letter answer for New Jersey
I have seen this question pop up from time a lot. Here is our experience in New Jersey.

The DMV told us flat out no, they will not accept the extension letter and expired Green Card.

We went to our Infopass appointment in Newark NJ today and we didn't have to say a word.

Handed the extension letter, expired GC and passport to the person in the window. She said they will
stamp the passport. about an hour and a half later my wife had an I-551 stamp in her passport
that is valid for one year.

Just for info, we sent our application in mid August and got the extension letter in the first half of September.

Good luck everyone.

David.
