Its means your alien fiancee has been assigned a case and if ur status is in Initial review that means u have received your NOA1 but u may not b signed up for txt or Email alerts u shuld b getting your hard copy soon via priority mail... I received an email yesterday early afternoon telling me my address change was complete, however i never changed my address so i was confused. I called USCIS but had a 140 minute wait on the phone so i left my number n name to receive a call back... I received the call and the tier 2 worker told me this was a glitch that my fiancees Alien ID# had been entered into the system & my case was being viewed then....... I was so excited i knew it was coming!!! I then received the approval (as suspected) via email around midnite!!! I still havent told my baby!!! I have been trying to reach him but his phones uncharged no power of course!! Lol omg im so excited!!! The nxt steps are goin to b exciting!! I cant wait to hear from my man today!!! On the ds156 ,i got this information from the interview prep packet lagos sends after they received our petition from Nvc.pls forgive my typos,i'm on my phone.Best of luck! Ok thank u.. I can see how it may look shady... I have read that if my fiance was sending me money here to the US it looks as tho hes paying me off.. Thats not our case, i have sent him money to 9ja before he began work cuz I did not like the sacrifices he was making.. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	After Approval, moving on :)	2 copies of DS156 (signed ) and  1 copy of  DS56K (unsigned ) is taken to interview in lagos.   Medicals- There are two  approved clinics, The children's practice is better in my opinion from what i have seen.  You will pay 12,000 initially on the day of your medical exam,After you sign in you are then sent to the bank  (it is not too far from the clinic ) .The remainder to be paid is determined by shots or additional tests to take .Ie EKG . This will be paid at the clinic.     Tips for medical arrive early,eat beforehand,make a copy of  his passport bio-data page to bring to medicals.Bring 3 Passport pics. Thank u... K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	After Approval, moving on :)	Ok, so I have received the Affidavit of Support & a few other documents needed such as the DS-156 (which will have 2 signed and completed) & the DS-156k and I will start to call NVC this Friday bugging them for my case # lol but Im a little confused on what to do with theses docs... Do we take them to the interview completed? Or send them some where? Also, i have the document from the consulate requesting the medical exam, is this the only doc needed to take to the medical exam besides passport photos & NOA2? (Original of course) and i have seen a few different places listed for medical exams in Lagos.. Which is the best? I have been told Dr K.A Omotosho is the only one accepted however others r listed? Is an appt needed or just walk in during hours the first day (2nd & 3rd days r scheduled before leaving the first day)? Correct? Do we need the NVC case # to proceed with medical & police clearance? Im assuming we wait n get our interview date first? As for visa fee, i have read we pay at a bank... Which bank? What docs r required wen paying? I have read on the embassy site that in Lagos u pay at interview but others here say u pay in advance at a bank... (Confused) and last but not least ( sorry about the flood of questions) but i will b sending a portfolio to my fiance containing proof of bonafide relationship with the following..... More pics of us together, pics of me (usc) with his family members, pics of us both with his family members & mutual friends, emails, love letters, more recent chat logs ( including conversations we have both speaking yoruba) telephone bills me calling my fiance, chats between my fiance & my daughters, letters to fiance from daughters, email chats between fiance & my father, acknowledgment letters from family members & friends (from fiances side & mine) original NOA1&2 hard copies, entire K-1 application (copies) including my divorce judgments, affidavit of support from co-sponsor (my father) original airline tkts & copies of visa stamps & visa... I did not date our photos nor did i include names of anyone.... My attorney said it was not needed... I was just approved in less then 4 mnths... You need to email them now and in subject line:Case# beneficiary's name   they will send you instructions on where to go to pay Visa fee and tell you how to download the forms you already did and go get police report and medical.   To get things done quicker you need to email them instead of them waiting to email you. I just attempted to send an email to the Embassy however i got a message saying it failed.. Did i not send to correct email address? lagoslv@state.govforimmigrationvisas.. Is this correct? NVC  hold  time is crazy, the  last time  I called I was on hold  for 25 minutes but  dept of state is  less than  3 minutes. Am sure  yours is already on its  way to Nigeria since you got approved on july 12. ohh thank u so the Dept of State can give me my case # and confirm its been sent? Our case arrived there on July 17th i still have no notice.. I just called 1 week after approval n got arrival date & case #... It wasnt sent to Embassy at that point yet but they said it would b in about 5 business days... K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	March 2013 Filers K1	Wow, more n more Jan filers being approved last nite and this morning!!!! Its almost out turn guys!! i am so happy CSC is moving again!!!! At this rate some of us March Filers could b adjudicated in June!! And the rest in July!!! Lets keep praying!! Also, i read that the time of the year u file is a factor? Idk the validity of this, but from what i understood the 3-4 months before Christmas is the slowest, and then the 3-4 months after Christmas is when speed picks up. I was told Febuary is the best month to file but i couldnt get ours out that quickly so March it was! But hey, im thinking us March filers wont have an issue. Im praying anyways!! I feel so bad for the filers in July, aug, sept, oct & november that seemed to have been left behind i wish it was a more uniformed process! Predictions would b much easier also.. Any ways!!
