Asia: East and Pacific	anybody got married in the philippines, help me!! anybody!	i am a us citizen (naturalized), im getting married to my filipina gf. i am going to the phillipines to get married there on sept 23, i believed that we have to wait for 11 days before we can be married (civil wedding). my problem is, i have to be back here in the states by oct 21 bcoz thats the only vacation time my employer gave me. within this time frame ( 1 month) do you think i can finish up with all the necessary things that im supposed to have like (marriage contract, seminars etc etc etc.????) so that when i come back here in the states i can eventually start filing for my spouse visa petition? guys i need help here , pls! thanks.	epoy2	Male	Philippines	2006-08-18 16:40:00

K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Back from The Philippines-Were Married-Yeahhhhhhhhhhhh	Hi Everyone, Well Marie and I are finally Husband and Wife-I am soooooooo happy. I am starting the petition today and hope to have it ready to send on Monday. So here comes the questions Guys and Gals I just dont want to mess anything up and have the process delayed. Its so hard to be apart from each other and I sure wouldnt want a simple little error on some form to keep us apart any longer than we have to be. Im sure you can all understand. You all have been such a big help in the past with the questions I had. What a good bunch of people. I am going to make sure that once Marie and I are through all this Visa stuff I am going to keep in touch and hopefully help others as well. K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	guys, everybody i need help on this... thanks.	im filing my petition I-130 for my wife in the phlippines on oct 31. after ill get the receipt from I-130 ill be doing I-129f right away. my question is.... how long does it take (months) for the visa council or embassy to let me present my affidavit of support for my wife after all those applications were approved.?????? the reason why im asking this is because i am going to quit my job as a registered nurse and spend my time with my wife in the phlippines until i need to present my affidavit of support. by the time that i need to present my affidavit of support, that will be the time ill come back to the states and look for a job right away since i understand that in order to present affidavit of support, i need to have a job. though i have enough savings on my bank right now. help me guys, i just miss my wife so so much. i cant stand being away from her. thanks guys. i love you all.	epoy2	Male	Philippines	2006-10-28 10:14:00

K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	G235A FORM QUESTION	Hello fellow VJers. I have a question I hope you can help me with. on spouses G235A form were it asks for her employers full name and address, the box given is not even big enough to fit entire name and address!! wow philippine addresses can sure be long!! She has been at same job for more than 5 years so can i use more than one box/space to put in address...or should I fill out address on a seperate sheet of paper and put"see attached form" in the space for employer address??? Also in regards to home address, it asks for street,city,province and country her address has street name then...gagalangin,tondo,manila,philippines if tondo is the city,manila province, phil country were do I put in gagalangin?? anyone with philippina spouse HELP!! thank you my fellow vjers!! K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	little "plus" signs on my I 129f form ???	I had the same problem. I abbreviated where I could to make it fit with no '+' signs showing. Just wondering since my I-130 says "received and pending" instead of "review". I know it's kind of the same, but just wondering... God Bless us all. Not only is it ok, but it's a good thing considering it will be evidence of your ungoing relationship. If you have someone checking your mail then you are fine. God Bless. You can actually still file single, because you were single for more than 50% of the yr. Your only other option is married filing separately (which penalizes you a little on the financial side for not doing joint filing). K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	G-325A form questions	Hi, I am in the process of filling out the G-325A for myself (a USC). I have been naturalized and wanted to know if I still need to put in my old "A" number. Also, when it asks for address outside of the US for more than a year, do I put my address from the Philippines when I was 4 years old? That was a long time ago. K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	approved I-130 1nd I-129f but im confused!!	on my I-129F NOA2 it says it will be forwarded to NVC and then soon to the Embassy where my wife will be interiewed. that i understood as how K-3 visa works. on my I-130 NOA2 it did not say that it will be retained as CSC or NVC (or i just didnt understand what it means, sorry guys!). here's what it says: " the above petition has been approved. the petition indicates that the person for whom you are petitioning is in the united states and will apply for adjustment of status. He or she should contact the local INS office to obtain form I-485, Application for permanent residence. A copy of this notice should be submitted with the application. If the person for whom you are petitioning decides to apply for a visa outside the USA based on this petition, the petitioner should file form I-824, Application for action on an approved application or petition, with this office to request that we send the petition to the department of state NVC. The NVC processes all approved immigrant visa petitions that require consular action. The NVC also determines which consular post is the appropriate consulate to complete visa processing. It will then forward the approved petition to that consulate." guys im just confused and dumb so help me understand this. what should i do? my wife is not in the USA yet. should i just wait for the entire I-129F (K3) to be processed and as soon as my wife arrives in the USA, that will be the time we should worry/ act on the I-130 and just do adjustment of status in the USA.??? help me pls.
