Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionTrafic accident
Halo vj member , I read it a lot about traffic accident and speeding ticket. But I still confused. Can someone help me about my case. I already sent I 751 to USCIS and already get NOAI . But I think I am wrong when I am answer part 3 no 7 , Have you ever been arrested, detained, charge........... bla bla bla ( excluding traffic regulation )............... I put No for that question.

My problem is no 1 : 1 1/2 years ago policed on military base stop my car because my speed on the military base. But in military base we did not get a ticket for that. They just give me a point and the point only on the base, not for out side base. So in my dmv record i dont have a point or fine or ticket or anything. So what I must answer part 3 no 7.

problem no 2. Still on marine base I will park and I hit other car, only a little accident. No police and my insurance pay for that damage. And my husband Asking on dmv, they told my husband, since the accident on the base no need to report to the dmv, So I did not report to the dmv. No ticket nothing.
Still the problem is part 3 no 7. Because i read it EXCLUDING TRAFFIC REGULATION so i put no again.

Problem no 3. My car hit rear ended by other car out of marine base, not my fault and police came to that accident and make a report. My car totalled and her car totalled too. Her insurance pay for all and for my hospital too. Absolutely her fault. Still the problem is part 3 no 7. I must answer yes or no. Because I only a victim. In my driver record, just say i have accident. No ticket nothing.

Now I really confused with my problem. Can they denied my case. Because I already send to uscis. And in really traffic accident is part 3 no 7 or no because they say excluding traffic regulation.

I hope somebody can help me. And thanks for helping me.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsJakarta embasy interview

Once the embassy in Jakarta receives the packet from the NVC, they will send out packet 3. Your fiancee will need to get a medical done, and any documents they request. Birth Certificate, police records, passport, etc. Its all in a list as part of packet 3. Bring all that in to the embassy, and you will get packet 4, the interview date. Which in Jakarta could be as soon as the next day, there is rarely much of a wait for an interview.

You can find more information here: http://www.visajourn...amp;cty=Jakarta

Being at the interview does not matter for Indonesia. I'm not even sure they will allow you to be in the interview room even.

I have more info. I called the USCIS here in the US and they said basically its in Jakarta's hands now. They said the May 25 deadline cannot be extended and she must get the visa by then; at which time a new 90 day clock will start meaning we must marry here in the US within 90 days. Believe me, that part will not be a problem. She emailed Jakarta embassy about what they want (as of now she has not recieved packet 3 in the mail yet) and they said among other things they want the 2008 tax return, not 2009. Now, I am completely confused, as I was under the impression that the current year(2009) was what they wanted. 2009 was better for me than 2008, I would much rather use that. I am self-employed. I do have assets. Anybody have recent personal experience with the Jakarta Embassy? Please help us.

While one visit is all you need, a second visit would definitely help. Gte there a few days/ weeks before the interview, take more photos (esp. with her family), and be there at the interview.

The May 25th date means that technically the visa application expires then, and hopefully your fiancee will get an interview before this, but don't worry about that; if you do not get an interview before that, the embassy will extend the date.

Thank you so much for this. I am new here and so much goverment red tape is confusing. WE got this far (uscis and nvc approval) with a great deal of info from this site, and much work from my fiance (thank you Lena), and the last stage, approval from Jakarta, is the one we are most concerned about. So you are saying the May 25 deadline means she must interview by then? It does not mean that the visa must be issued by then? And if we hit a snag, (I hope not), the date can be extended? Who does this, the USCIS or Jakarta? And its no problem?

I am making a 2nd visit, and being at the interview will help you say? She was not so sure that it would. I have heard both ways; it would help; it would hurt. I just want to get this done without problems. I am self employed and will bring 2009's tax info, and a list/proof of my assests. Any other things to bring to help get this done. We have letter of intent to marry, many pictures, many receipts from last time there in Sept '09, receipts for engagement/marriage rings, cell phone bille, hundreds of hours of skype conversations, letters of congradulation, I have made her the beneficary of my life ins, and its a good policy, and would it help to tell them I will put her on the house title when we marry?

I am concerned to see just what Jakarta wants, as I hear they are not all the same and even different people at the same embassy can have different criteria. Any info GREATLY appreciated, and thanks in advance.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsJakarta embasy interview
I have already been to Jakarta one time, in Sept 2009, and filed with the Ca service center. Nov 5 was recieved date.
It was approved on Jan 26 and says it is valid until may 25 2010. Exactally what does that mean. What is valid? What must be done by then? Have it approved by Jakarta, make the appointment, what? What do they want accomplished by May 25, 2010. We want to get all this done quickly, of course.
NVC notice of approval was dated Feb 3 2010.
We are getting everything else in order and I will be ready to send everything on my end to her in Jakarta after my tax's are done March 2. She has most of her stuff done already.
What will Jakarta want? Should I go with her to the interview? Should I go a 2nd time before the interview and not go to the interview? Is it easier to get approved with me going with her to the interview? I have already made 1 visit last Sept, is that enough. The original plan was for me to go to the interview with her. That would be the 2nd visit. Is this the best way to do this? This is my first post and I need advice.
Thanks in advance.
