You as the beneficiary will complete DS-160. There is a section requiring you to list all relatives in the US (mother/father; sibling, fiance/fiancee) and their status. You will have to provide truthful information in there.

I doubt the embassy will ask, but if they do be honest... only state FACTS, not what you think is true or something you heard, so when you don't know for fact then answer accordingly.

Thanks Hank, so there wont be any mention of that in the interview you think or will that have any effect at all? If I do get asked what do I say? I am not sure what his status exactly is but only that he is overstaying.

I proposed to my long time girlfriend when she visited a month ago. We're finally engaged, sent our K1 visa-package and just got our NOA1 a few hours ago.

 

My dad has been in the US working as a nurse and has overstayed for almost a year now. I am wondering if his overstaying in the US has any effect on my application for the K1 visa.

Ahhh. Sorry the sentence was so vague to me lol. in the provinces in the Philippines we have something that's exactly called a police clearance; where I have to get a purok leader's clearance so I can get a barangay clearance which I need to get the police clearance.

 

Since I never lived outside the Philippines at all I don't really need the Police clearance anymore right? (Sorry just need to clarify)

I'm starting to gather all the necessary documents so I can be ready immediately when I get my NOA 2. One of the requirements of the USEM specifically section e 

 

 

OTHER COUNTRY POLICE CERTIFICATES. Applicants aged 16 years and older must also present police certificates from other countries where they have lived for six (6) months or more after reaching the age of 16. As with NBI clearances, foreign police certificates should be obtained in any maiden names, aliases or nicknames used while in the country in question, including different spellings you have used of those names. Country-specific information on how to secure police certificates is available on the State Department?s website at http://travel.state..../fees_3272.html. 

 

 

 

Do I still need this despite already having an NBI clearance? What is it exactly and how do I get it?

Well, I just did a practice quote on fedex.com from Manila Philipines to a city in Tennessee and the total for a 20kg package was

 

12980.05 Phillipine money for International Priority with a 2 day delivery 

 

And

 

10432.25 Phillipine money for a 4 day delivery.

 

I could have messed up dramatically when making that quick quote, but maybe i'm close.

 

 

Go to Fedex.com and see if you can find what you're looking for.

Maybe but I don't really feel it's necessary to buy a new one since I have a topped-out gaming rig with 3x monitors and all that jazz. I also don't think many people in the Philippines can afford the whole thing so I might have to sell it for dirt cheap.

 

Just wondering how much it will cost for shipping so I know how much I should sell this in the Philippines (in-case I decide to) and buy a similar one in the US.

My rig all in all probably costs around USD 3000 without the monitors.

Hi! I will just share you my cfo and st lukes experience. I did my cfo last october 8 i had 9am cfo appointment and finished around 2pm. I decided to go straight to st.lukes for my medical i arrived around 3pm and then they let me in and i completed my medical exam in 45mins. After that they asked me to come back the next day around 2pm for my medical result. So october 9 went back to st.lukes around 2pm i had my vaccination around 5pm and got my result around 9pm.

 

Can I get my CFO as well without getting approved yet for my k1 visa?

I'm at a point where I'm starting to plan my trip to Manila for the medical examination and the Interview. Since I intend to not waste money going there by spending an extra night in a hotel I'm wondering if arriving at 10 am in St Lukes for the Medical is okay to do the medical in 2 days?

 

Also is it okay to arrive at 10am in the Embassy? How do schedules and time work on both St Lukes and the Embassy?
