Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionVSC
I sent my application in during the last week that my card expired, due to finacial difficulties, but i wouldnt expect or want to be put in front of someone applying earlier, would be nice to know how VSC chooses who to process when and why.

Yes i see people from Oct still awaiting approval, i am not too good at the waiting game, nails are gone long ago, would be nice to be given a reason, like, sorry for slow progress but we are short staffed ect. just frustrated.

It would be nice if VSC or USCIS would give a reason for the slow pace that VSC is processing applications, or have i missed something?

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionI-751 NOA1 1 YEAR EXTENSION
The NOA1 receipt has not got an Extension expiry date on it, but a guess is that it expires one year from NOA1 receipt notice date.

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionROC in November
NOA1 is you extension, so if you get I-751 filed at the earliest date allowed, hopefully your biometrics date will be issued within the 30 days of you recieving the NOA1 and hopefully biometrics will be done before your trip in December. Good Luck.

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionWife left after the 1-175
I cannot figure out why she did not stay for the 6 months maximum get the card then leave, something just does not seem quite right. but i agree, she could cause a lot of noise if she wanted to.

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionWife left after the 1-175
Your friends wife has the 12 month extension. maybe things will turn around, she can start the waiver on being divorced, as the others say, what circumstances led up to the parting, that has a bearing on how the waiver could work, not much he can do, but she may need legal advice.

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionI-751 Removing Condition Time Limit
6 months is a Target set by USCIS, but as has been stated it varies case by case. in the ideal world all Oct/Nov/Dec 2010 would be complete and January 2011 coming to closure, alas we do not live in an ideal world, so sitting/waiting/praying/nail biting are the norm. Is there a fix?????????

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionJust thinking ahead....
Bob actually means the USA do not recognise Dual Citizenship, as he stated about the pledge of allegiance, nothing stopping you holding 2 passports, but in the eyes of the USA you are not a dual citizen.

Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussionhow can I stop the ROC for my soon to be ex-spouse
So what do we have, He married this girl, submitted all the paperwork and then decided he made a mistake, so now he wants to dump her out of the country, Fraud wasnt an issue until a board member mentioned it, no mention of why it was deemed a mistake, no mention of who walked out on who? another part of a one sided story.

Get your divorce, live and learn, be happy.

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionGreen Card
Your Wifes Green card will still be valid until Dec 2011, so no reason that She will have any problems returning in Oct 2011.

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionGreen Card
You have all the 90 days to file, so filing when you return from Vietnam will be fine, would be good idea to start collecting all the evidence you need, this will cut down on work to do later.

Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion2 different Recipte Numbers and wrong zip code
You recieved two notices, a NOA-1 and a Bio letter, therefore two receipt numbers, as for the Zip codes i cannot explain that, but the letter got to you so not like it was wrong name and address. i guess Buffalo is your local office or one available with free space to do Biometrics.
DrogsMaleUnited Kingdom2011-07-18 23:10:00
Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionNo Biometrics Appointment letter yet
It is not unusual to wait more than 30 days for bio, we had some on Aprils filers waited nearly 60 days, depends how busy the local office is and when an appointment can be found, Deep Breaths, Calm Down, welcome to the waiting game.

Your Bio will come

That is correct it will not go into the database, as soon as the Bio letter comes, you can use that number.

Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussionforgot to include copy of green card
Wait until NOA-1 then you know that they have your package, then you can send in the copies of Green Card, ensure that you write on the front of the envelope, additional evidence for I-751 Application, Name and Alien Registration number. it should hopefully join up with your package then.

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionDriver License shows old address
Yes the reason they send in the Driving License is to show both with same address, Lots of people send them in, but its not crucial, if you have lots of other evidence showing you cohabit at same address send that. but you could kill two birds with one stone and update your wifes license

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionUSCIS Reminder of Removing Condition GC
The Reminder letters are just what they say "Reminders" if you get one then good, if you do not then just carry on as normal and send in your I-751 package counting back 90 days from your Green Card expiry date.
Only one Reminder letter is sent out, that is to the Green Card holder.

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionChance to move to Italy and on to Colombia
Totally agree with you Bob, Wayne, i bet your wife is totally confused and worried, all the MAY have a job in italy and then MAY have the chance of starting in Columbia, NO Definetes just MAY have's. She has moved here to start a life(with you) only to be possibly uprooted and move to a new culture and then as Bob said end up back in a not too secure Country.
How long is the possible stay in Columbia planned for? is it worth your Wife bothering to become a Card Holder/ Citizen.

Olive, nobody on here is going to say what you want to hear, You know what is right and what is wrong, the decision is yours.

As Inky said, lets have some more details, must be a well paid job if you do not intend working, i would have thought that both working would have meant more saved for a life in the USA????????

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionDeployed Overseas And Lifting Conditional
Thanks for the Service to this Great Country.

Biometrics is for Photo/Fingerprints/Signature, this is used for GreenCard and FBI checks, no bearing on approval.

It is possible(slightly) that you may recieve RFE letter and/or an Interview, if you sent in all the correct evidence showing a Bonafide marriage then you have nothing to worry about, also Service personnel from what i have seen on VJ are processed very quickly.

Again, Thanks for Your and Fellow Servicemens Service, God Bless.
