make sure you include affidavits, photos, etc to support your forms.
the petitioner should also write a letter stating his intent and how you guys met, etc. and also include a covering letter.
our package included 3 photos, 2 affidavits, petitioner's letter, forms.

thanks for the info greately apperciated

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Proceduresnewly married to an american

Good day to all....

Hello everyone!!!
I am Markie...
I am newly married...
I am awaiting the release of my marriage certificate from the local civil registrar, which after then I will have it authenticated in the National Statistics Office here in the Philippines....
I will be sending my marriage certificate to my husband who is based in Texas...
After that, will we be able to apply for a Spousal Visa Application??
What is the first step??
And how long do we need to wait??

Thanks and God Bless.....

good luck on your marriage certificate from NSO..my wife went to get ours last week(we have been married 8 months) and we find out LCR hasnt endorsed it yet to NSO so we had to get on LCR to get their butt in gear so we dont know when NSO will get it. Lf i were you i would keep checking with LCR to insure it gets endorsed over to NSO so u dont run into the problem we did. by the way we are living in Gensan.

Good luckPosted Image

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresToo little time together.

Hello,

I am not sure if this would be a problem with I-130 processing; we were married on 02/27/2013 in my wife's country and i had to come back to US on 02/28/2013. Will this result in any red flag of some kind?

Thanks,

Congrats!!!!!

You need to include the son in the household count for your wife's CR/IR-1 process.  Plus any other family or dependents you have.

so i would claim myself my wife and son for a total of 3. Is this correct?

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresAffidavit of support for child of US citiezen born abroad

Hi my my wife and i have been married for 1 year 7  months . We have a son born in the Philippines. We are in the process of filing CRBA the after that is approved i will file the I 130 . My question is when i file the affidavit of support I 864 do i have to include my son in the family size and go by family size of 3 or can i just use family size of 2 since my son will be considered US citizen with US passport after his CRBA is approved? I am a US citizen..Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
