K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	how do you guys stay in contact with your significant other?	When I do use my cell or my home phone I use Pingo. www.pingo.com it is a prepaid service but they do have local numbers they use when I make the call. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	What's going on with VSC??	Just to let everyone know I got my NOA2 in the mail today, My NOA1 was dated 2/25/11. I never got the email like I did with the NOA1 and on the USCIS website I was still showing under review for today even though the form was dated 7/13/11 that I got in the mail. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	how to make a rotten Tuesday	I got my number today from speaking with someone at NVC. The automated system had said they had not recieved my information yet and it had been the 15 business days so I spoke with someone and they gave me my case number. Our I-797 was dated July 13th so according to your timeline our dates are very similar so it should be soon. Another item today was they did not show an email address for my fiance' so I gave them her email so the embassy could contact her by email instead of regular mail, maybe this will speed things up. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	No Answers from NVC	It has been 30 days since my NOA2 approval from the VSC and I still get the not recieved message from the NVC recording. Although one of their reps gave me my number at day 15 they still tell me my application is there but is being processed. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Document translation	I have a request of board members that have been successful in obtaining a K-1 for an Ukrainian Fiance that has previously been married. I am trying to put together my 129f package and I have a Ukrainian Divorce Decree but not a translated copy. My fiance is fluent in English and says she will interpet it for me and email it back. I would appreciate the help if someone could email me a copy of a translated Ukrainian divorce decree so I can show her the type of format she should use. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	NOA-1 question	I recieved my NOA-1 yesterday and the beneficiaries information section showed her country of birth as unknown. It was clearly entered on the 129 form as "Kiev Reg/UA" I would have like to have put Kiev Region, Ukraine but the box was very small that asked for "State/Country". K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Is my wife still considered k-1 holder after wedding	Everything must be done in the most difficult way. I had asked my fiancee several times to have her 19 year old daughter to apply for her k-2 at the same time of my wife's interview even though she did not want to move to the United States she would have her visa if she did change her mind. Well now she has changed her mind. We were married a month ago and have not yet filed for adjustment of status. The two options I see is to file for the K-2 or file to bring a relative over for a green card holder. Since we have not filed nor recieved her green I am thinking I should just file for the K-2. Since we are now married does my wife's status stay K-1 until the green card is issued? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks to all the members for the information on this site.
