I'd be interested to hear people's rationale for why that 18 year old who has intimate consensual contact with his 17 year old gf should not enjoy the same rights as other USCs. It would also be interesting to hear whether any of the people denouncing "sex offenders" in general might actually be one of those people who had sex with an underage gf after their own 18th birthday but wasn't prosecuted. Did you report yourself to USCIS when you filed your petition? Will you now send back your fiance/e or wife since you have improperly enjoyed a right that no one who has committed such a heinous act should enjoy? Just wondering. I am glad my thumbs up caught your ire. I enjoy the part where everyone who sides with less rights for sex offenders are probably one. This was my aggreeance with ones post. As you obviousley know by your OPPINION there are instances where one being labled a sex offender is a little overboard. China	No visa after 1 week?	Just as a follow up to potentially help others, when I called they said that the latest status update was at the interview. It was not in AP, and the operator assured me that the case looked "strong" and that we just needed to wait for it to be issued. I used the online form to contact the consulate, and today I got a response saying that the visa has been issued and sent out. Hooray... Good news hope she gets it soon! China	Is it a good idea?	Call and inquier. I did every other day and about 6 days later a guz case number was issued and the approved petition was sent. Shortly after I received a letter from the NVC saying the approved petition was being sent to Guz for processing. China	need advice for initial I-129 filing for K1 visa	We sent around 6 pics they were of us with here family, my family, us at landmarks in china(greatwall-temple of heaven) and pics of a vegas trip we took when she visited. We did not send every email or chat but we did send a good selection showing our sustained relationship over time. all plane tickets to visit her or her to visit me we sent too. We sent a few photocopied tickets from events we attended together and attached a pic of us at the event for example a Nuggets b-ball game, Cirque-du-soleil in Vegas and Forbidden City tickets and pic. I wouldent say we front loaded ours but we gave them enough to know that we had a bona fide relationship. It never hurts to front load so send what you see fit to prove no doubt your relationship is true. China	Suggestions for travel to Guz?	NWA from Twin Cities, Detroit or any west coast city (LA,sanfran, portland, seattle) to Tokyo then on to Guz. American from Chicago to Shanghai. Best to search we are looking to go visit family in july and have found our best fair to be a korean air flight to soul then on to qingdao or beijing. I began noticing alot of April filers being approved and naturally began to wonder if my case had found its way to the mysterious file box in the corner closet at CSC. I received This email today! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	I-129F NOA1 is taking forever.. should I be worried?	We did not get our NOA1 (physical copy) for about 6 weeks. We sent our 129f in late march, around mid april I was worried because we had not recieved NOA1. After many phone calls I was able to get somebody on the line who wanted and tried to help us. Our case was accepted 4 days after we had sent it and NOA1 was issued and sent but we had never recieved the physical copy 797 NOA. One month after the acceptance date I recieved a email about our case status that read "Document I-129f returned as undeliverable" the way this email read was confussing but I was assured it was probley just our NOA1. Anyways they had made a mistake on our address and sent it to our physical adress when it was suppose to be sent to our P.O Box. One and a half months later we finally received our NOA1. I would check your bank and see if they cashed your check if so thats a pretty good sign things are in order and make a phone call who knows maybe you will get lucky and find the one person who is willing to help you. I called and always got the standard "your case is not outside our processing time frame" Still made me feel good to call, like I was doing something instead of just waiting. We only waited 4 months though. CSC and VSC Both list 5months as there processing time frame which you are at. Hope it doesn’t go 6 months but if it does you then should be able to get an answer.
