For the i129f submission -Does anyone know if the Letter of Intent for the beneficiary must be an original signature from the beneficiary OR can beneficiary sign it at consulate interview? 2. For the i129f submission - Does the Beneficiary G325a also need to be an original signature from the beneficiary OR can beneficiary sign it at consulate interview? My fiance is in Nigeria - getting an original signature from her to submit with the i129F will be next to impossible. Any help would be appreciated! G325A and Letter of Intent must be signed originally by both of you. That will avoid getting an RFE. Pls find a way that she can mail it to you. Make sure to have spare copies. VSC is on 6 to 8 mos.,while CSC is on 8 to 10 mos., so far. Hopefully you'll be one of those lucky ones. 2 mos.? that is so rare, but who knows! You feel like you've been waiting for a year. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Newbie on K1	Hello! I'm Glory, from the Philippines. I'm turning 23 this year and engaged to a USC since last year. We met online and after a few months he came here to visit me. We've only seen each other once so I'm quite worried if the number of times we've been together will be a factor on the application. Also my fiancee suggested that I try to apply for a US tourist visa just to be together before he files the petition. But I know when you're a young Filipina, it is hard to get a tourist visa. We're a little confused and to be honest, we don't know where to start. I hope someone on here can enlighten me. Hoping for good responses. Thanks so much! Hi there,...I would go with Fiancee Visa at once,.. you are engaged and want to marry your man, your good with K1. Tourist has a different set of requirements why not gather requirements for K1 now( i mean study). Don't have to get them yet, some docs has expiration. K1 is 6- 10 mos. so far, good to know you're working, you need to be busy while waiting, time flies before you know it. VJ is the right place for us, read and read when you have time. I haven't encountered that... 30 days. I know it should be recent , closer to interview date. That's why its better to get those copies right after you know or interview sched has been set. I wish my children could at least see their father, but loads of court orders and he was the deciding factor as to if I should move with my 3 kids or my fiance come live here in Australia. The father of my kids has already tried to kill us once, I think it's the best choice to leave this country and start a new life with my fiance who adores me and my kids True Love does exist Oh my God,.. save yourselves,.. he's not worthy to have you and your kids..Yes, you all get out of there .. we all deserve a good life. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Bringing Children to the US	I also have 3 children who will be coming with me to the US. The father of my kids, who is listed on the birth certificates, wont allow us to leave the country let alone get passports. If he had of shown up for the custody hearing he would have known that my lawyer put a clause on my custody papers stating that I have "Sole Parental Responsibility" of my 3 children. I have since then gained passports for my children without him knowing or consent. I can't see a problem when it comes time for me to move (if everything gets approval). I will carry those papers with me. Me too, when i applied for my son's passport, they asked a court order which states that the custody is mine. They asked original copy of it, and they processed right away with no hustle. I don't think i need anything from my ex husband in regards to my son's leaving the country. After all, he doesn't give any financial support as ordered by the court, not even a centavo or a dime. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	K-1 / RFE / Question	Hello to All VJer's!   I had something very strange occur here pertaining to an RFE. Hopefully someone out there can explain, since no one at USCIS could explain it. (I'm sure this comes a shock to you all )   On April 22, I checked my case status on the USCIS website, finally after 7 months and 2 days they looked at my application. Much to my surprise, they stated an RFE would be coming my way(Never thought I would be so happy to get an RFE). Now,  I patiently waited for almost two weeks, checking my mailbox every day and guess what? No letter has appeared in my mailbox. So tonight, I checked the website and wouldn't you know it, the website states that on May 1, an RFE was mailed to me. #######?   What happened to the the RFE that was supposedly sent April 22? Something else that got me attention was I have yet to receive any text or e-mail notifications of the RFE's. I know its working because I got text and e-mail notification for my NOA1   Now here is the question, did they send me 2 RFE's? One on April 22 and one on May 1 or was the first notification a mistake? I talked to Tier 2 rep and all they could do was say that an RFE was sent May 1.     Any input from you all would be greatly appreciated.   It happened to ours too.  Maybe the first day is they updated your status, they found out that there is/are lacking docs, second the day they finally mailed it off. No worries, its only one RFE. USCIS has a standard answers to quieries, you can't rely on them  almost all the time. I don't think you need the packet. Some don't even receive it on time or never receive any from the usem. But who knows you might have it before June 4. Met the usem requirements , proving your relationship might be double harder with your situation right now, but the fact that u will be there during interview is a good thing, it will not be a solo thing for your fiancee. Sticking with her in spite of what she did, means your serious about her, hope your fiancee feel the same way as much as you do, she should prepare herself more. Hello fellow VJers, okay so i'm getting confused on some information and i have a few questions to ask,   1. for k1-petitions after receiving the NOA2 letter, and after getting case MNL #, is the Embassy going to send me a packet of stuff to fill out or just a letter saying that my fiancee is eligible for a interview? Yes USEM will send a letter for eligibility. You might get this or you might not, some got theirs too late.   2. what i got so far is employment letter, 3 years of taxes, I-134 form, 3 recent pay stubs,NOA1 , NOA2, proof of the ongoing relationship, letter of intent to marry, bank verification letter and I-129f petition packet. is there anything else i might need and/or missing? You may want to include a copy of  NVC letter, soon as you get it.   3. I found this while searching    "If you want to receive your visa as soon as possible, here's what to do: > Since you are a K-1er, you must schedule your own interview. The NVC schedules interviews for IR-1ers and CR-1ers. > The Embassy won't send you a "packet." Instead, they will send you a letter. It could take two months or more to receive the letter. Do not wait for the letter. The letter simply tells you that you are eligible to schedule an interview, and gives you information on how to prepare for the interview. You don't need to wait for the letter because you can read it if you click here. > Pay the visa fee at BPI today. She can prepare these forms by herself, get forms online, she can start now, include the DS157,.. but exclude the form 230   5.For documents that is required ( correct me if i'm wrong or missing ) passport, ds-156,ds-157, ds-156k, birth certificate, nbi clearance, police certificate, evidence of genuine engagement, CENOMAR, ? Anything else?Mostly on her part , yes. We had our medical Monday June 17( yeah crowded it is..i was warned but need to sacrifice, i have a K2), finished Thursday June 20. I knew they're aware with my usem sched but i still asked them if embassy will have our result right away, and they said yes, i saw they packed our result, sealed it right away on a brown envelope. i kinda read that post bout a lost medical result , so i was a little worry. The EAD/AP combo card takes about 2-3 months to receive after filing. We got an RFE for both letter of intent, since i forwarded 2 originals to my fiance prior to submission, we just resend the other one and we were approved. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Fiancé forgot he was married before!	Here's the problem. Even if you DID end up filing again, your first application matters. No-one "forgets" they were married before, bet you even Brittney Spears remembers that 45 hours or so marriage in Vegas. Assuming he DID honestly forget the marriage, then what you need to do depends on what stage of the process you're at. You said you filed in December, I assume by "hard copy" you mean NOA2 or "Petition approval"? If so, you need to contact the embassy (email would be best) advise that there was an error on your I-129F. You could either have you approval revoked while you case undergoes more processing, OR you could be in AP for a long time while they do more background checks. One thing is for sure - if you DO get as far as the interview and this has all been corrected, I would be prepared for a TOUGH interview. Because I'm sorry but "oh hey by the way I was married before, didn't last long" might not come up in general conversation, but it sure as h*ll should have been brought up in an immigration relationship. I suggest you ask a few more questions of your fiance. There might be other things he "forgot" that might be important to you. I would assume he realise that with Facebook being around and her being on it, his fiancee (the OP) would probably find out about his ex and he should actually come clean. That's what I think. The fact is , if it was approved, then you have your infos in the system now,.. And on the forms , there will be questions of previous applications. I don't think it'll automatically dissolve , some had their applications like 6 yrs. ago and still questioned and denied for it.
