US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	I-134 Help	Me and me fiance (japanese) just got her K-1 Visa back and she did the medical exam and police background checks. She also mailed off her biographic data again. My question is, Where do I send my I-134 form to? Same place where I sent my K-1 Visa application form? USCIS in california? How long does it take to process the I-134? Also, I am about to be deployed to for 7 months in september this year . Is it possible for her to possibly fly over to Hawaii and get married at city hall and can she fly back to Japan before I go on deployment to the gulf? I dont know what to do in my situtation. I am stationed in Pearl Harbor, and I will be in and out until the 1st week of June. I can possibly have my I-134 done before the month is over. Any feedback is appreciated. Arigato. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Can my fiance from Japan send off our K-1 Visa paperwork?	Our package is 99.9% complete because I took it the USCIS center here in Hawaii. The clerk looked through our K-1 Visa and just bascially told me to add 1 more thing to it. But the deal is that I will be deployed to sea for 3 months. The USCIS clerk also said I can mail my fiance that lives in Japan, the K-1 Visa paperwork and she can add the 1 thing to the K-1 Visa and she can send it off while I am being deployed out to sea. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	I-129FProcessing Time	I just PCS'ed to Pearl Harbor. HI from Yokosuka, Japan. So I dont have no one to check my mail. I have this security at my building so no one can actually get into my apartment complex without a electronic key. Right now, My unit is on their way back to Pearl Harbor. I will try to call the USCIS/NVC to see if I have anything wrong. I always presumed that, if you get your NOA1, you will receive your NOA2 maybe like 2 months after that? Is that wrong? I'm new to all this marriage stuff and timelines. I want to thank you all for all the feedback. It really helps me out alot. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	I-129FProcessing Time	So Me and my fiance are engaged. We both filled out all the required paperwork for the I-129F package. Now for me being in the military, I got the entire package ready to be sent in. But, my fiance needed to get a copy of her passport photo. So before I got deployed, I sent her the I-129F package. She put the color photo copy of her passport in with the I-129F package and sent it off to USCIS in california to be processed. She mailed it off by January 29th, 2009. She tracked the mail and it arrived there somewhere around the 7th or 8th of FEB 2009. My fiance lives in Japan. So my question is that, will there be something wrong if she sent it from japan to california? I put my address on the form so that the NOA1 will arrive in my mailbox in hawaii if everything goes well. It has been 3 months with no word on USCIS. Is their something wrong with my package? Or is it the processing time? I wont get back to hawaii until late this april to find out if i received a NOA1 or not. But my fiance has been reading online that people are receiving their NOA1 and NOA2's after we sent our I-129F package in. So i'm assuming that their is something wrong with our paperwork. It just pains me because I dont know whats going on. I'm praying that everything is good with our paperwork. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	After NOA2?	Wow thanks for all the feedback guys, it really means alot to me. I'm so happy I will be marrying the lady of my dreams. I hope everything goes well for me.....I'm trying to get all this stuff done as soon as possible because my unit will be deploying soon in september for 6 months. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	After NOA2?	So my fiance told me that she just received the K1 Visa instructions. I'm not really good at this type of stuff, but does that mean she will have to do her medical screening for this? are we pretty close to setup ourselves up to marry? I recently posted about NOA1 and NOA2. My situation was that I'm out to sea so I cant check to see if i received my NOA1 or NOA2 yet. But by assuming by what my fiance got in the mail today, she got her K-1 Visa instructions. She took a little picture of the document with her cell phone, but what happens after the K-1 Visa instructions? Whats my role going to be now? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Possible Extension for my I-129F	Just found out today that I will be deploying for 6 months starting in september. I dont want to rush getting married because my fiance lives in Japan and I live in Hawaii. I dont want her to be alone while i am gone. So I know the K-1 Visa is only good for a certain period of time and I can file for a petition for an extension. I think the extension is only good for 4 months right? I dont know what to do. If I file for the extension I still need a 3 month extension possibly a 4 month extension. Just got to love how the military puts the brakes on your dreams of getting married. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	K-1 Visa Questions	So my fiance did her medical and police records and biographic data. So I got this letter. It says: Dear Petitioner, The State Departments National Visa Center has recently received and approved I-129F petition filed on behalf of your fiance. This letter is to let you know that within a week the petition will be forwarded to the appropriate visa-issing post where your visa interview will take place. It gives our case number, and towards the end it says: Your fiance will soon receive a packet w/instructions from the consular section on how to apply for the K1 visa at that post and what documents will be required. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Switch from K-1 Visa to Immigration Visa	So my fiance wants to switch form K-1 Fiance Visa to an immigrant visa due to my occupation. We were supposed to get married with the K-1 visa in August, but since my ships schedule changed, we decided to do a immigrant visa. How do I switch from K-1 visa to an Immigrant Visa?
