USCIS Service Centers	Required Form(s) after Marriage	Is there any form(s) that needs to be filed after we have been married, other than the adjustment of statute package? The Wisconsin Department of Motor Vehicle (for obtaining a Wisconsin Identification Card) won't allow getting an I.D. card without having a "Form I-797 application receipt for a change of status to conditional permanent resident". After having a rather heated dispute with them, we would like to know if we have missed something that needed to be filed after we were married. Thank you for your help. As-tu eu cette info avant de recevoir l'enveloppe Chronopost ou est-ce la date d'approbation qui figurait sur le visa quand tu l'as obtenu ? @Eastern : J'habitais pas loin de la Place de la Boule avec vue sur le Mont Valérien également Pour l'Idaho, ca le fera : j'irai skier, faire du bateau, snowmobile et me remettre enfin au sport pour m'occuper ! @corinne : j'avais posé la question sur le forum en Anglais à propos des assets, et il m'avait dit que ça passait tranquille au vu du compte de ma copine. Bon bah je vais te suivre de très près car mon amoureux n'a pas de boulot non plus pour le moment, et on a mis le paquet sur les assets aussi du coup . L'Idaho, wow il fait frisqué là bas, moi c'est direction Wisconsin (pas mal non plus côté mouffles!!) on est en attente du Noa2, avec de la chance pour la fin du mois, courant aout et après, visite à Mme Doubtfire !!! Tiens nous au courant pour ton résultat! bisous, hugs &love & everything!!! Salut ! Je reviens de mon entretien à l'ambassade : 1H26 chrono. Entrée 12h51, sortie (heure de rallumage du portable) : 14he17. Je suis allé 3 fois au guichet. Première fois pour donner ma convoc', 2ème fois pour la paperasse et la 3ème pour l'entretien avec la vice consul. Elle m'a embêté sur le fait que ma copine ne travaillait pas depuis 5-6 ans (elle a pris ce temps pour élever sa fille) - on a mis le paquet sur ses assets - et qu'elle s'étonnait du remplissage de son compte épargne (5 ans au World Financial Center l'a plutôt pas mal surpris). Ca m'a mis un bon coup de pression mais bon...elle a fini sur le "you should receive your visa within 2 weeks, time needed for verifications". Je pense donc que ca l'a fait...mais je ne serai relax qu'une fois le paquet reçu. Je pense partir le 23 juillet direction l'Idaho (et ouais, je vais dans le fin-fond des US, près de Yellowstone), j'attends la réception du visa pour prendre mon billet. Ma copine habite dans la ville la plus conservatrice des US et le lien principal c'est l'Eglise.... C'est aussi le pays de la pomme de terre et de l'hiver interminable. Je commence à bien connaitre le terrain, ça devrait malgré tout le faire et on prévoit de bouger quand j'aurai un taf. Sinon, je vais me présenter vite fait. J'ai 28 ans, j'étais prof de CP à Nanterre jusqu'à vendredi..J'ai obtenu ma dispo pour l'année prochaine. J'ai rencontré ma copine sur un jeu en ligne (Aventuriers du rail/Ticket to Ride) il y a 2 ans. 7 voyages à nous 2 depuis. Je me suis mis au baseball(à la TV) pour occuper mes longues journées : pratique, matches tous les jours, durée 3h30. (avec un beau frère pro en MLB pas trop le choix). Comme vous, j'ai rencontré les petits pb avec la bouffe : le cheese bowl des dernières vacances à Noël m'en a fait voir de toutes les couleurs. Le pire reste, la clim et l'air conditionné. Surtout à Salt Lake avec 40° à l'hôtel. Ma copine ne peut pas vivre sans, il lui a fallu du temps pour qu'elle se rende compte que je ne faisais pas du cinéma (visites aux wc toutes les nuits, sympa !). Du coup, je vais passer mes derniers jours en France avec un ventilo, pour m'entraîner . J'ai lu les 100 dernières pages du thread, j'aurai grand'plaisir à me joindre à votre petite communauté. Je commence déjà à stresser pour mon entretien de jeudi à l'ambassade, heureusement que je travaille ça m'occupe l'esprit. ce qui me stresse c'est l'affidavit of support, parce que beaucoup disent qu'il faut 125% de la poverty guideline alors que sur le site internet travel.state.quelquechose c'est noté 100%... Et mon copain, comme il a commencé à travailler en décembre 2009, il a fait les premiers mois de l'année 2010 à 8$/heure (training period) donc ça lui plombe son revenu annuel. Alors il est au dessus des 100% de la PG mais il atteind pas les 125%, moi j'ai des économies mais elles ne sont pas prises en compte dans un I-134 (mais seulement dans le I-864 de l'AOS, ce qui nous permet d'ailleurs de n'avoir aucun problème pour atteindre les critères de l'AOS). J'ai bien préparé mon dossier par contre, en mettant en évidence sur ces fiches de paye son "rate per hour" qui augmente tout au long de l'année 2010 jusqu'a atteindre 9.50$/hour, plus toutes les heures sup qu'il fait, plus mes relevés de comptes avec mes économies en démontrant qu'il y a pas de problème pour l'AOS, et tout et tout mais je sais pas si la mégère américaine va prendre la peine de lire tout ça. arf	leeandcorinne	Female	France	2011-05-23 05:08:00
Europe & Eurasia (except the UK and Russia)	France/America couples	J'aimerai tant me plaindre de l'augmentation des loyers!!! Cela voudrait dire que je suis avec mon chéri chez nous à Green Bay!!! Nous on attend le Noa2 long road to go yet Moi qui pensait que c'était cher à Vail ...je vois que c'est pire à DC, je n'imagine même pas les loyers à NYC. Je n'habite pas ou près d'une grande ville mais juste à coté de Vail, station de ski huppée. Nous payons $1795/mois pour une "3 bedroom, 3.5 bath Townhome" avec l'adhésion au club de gym inclus ( cela se trouve à 2 minutes à pieds ). Nous avons réussi à faire baisser le prix pour le prochain bail, car le propriétaire préfère avoir un couple plutôt que des collocataires. Sinon, on paye $50 de gaz par mois l'hiver, puis environ $30 pour l'électricité. Nous avons de la chance d'avoir une maison bien isolée. Bon j'étais super contente parce que notre Noa2 a été approuvé le 18 juillet, NVC l'a reçu le 08 août (3 semaines après GRRRR) et depuis pas de nouvelles! Je téléphone à NVC et on me dit que je serai notifié dès que le consulat reçoit. Je vois que d'autres ont leur "case" en transit à NVC genre 2 ou 3 jours et après direction le consulat. Comment avez eu une date de départ NVC et d'arrivée Consulat sur vos timelines? Alors est ce que le consulat reçoit le dossier sans que NVC nous tienne informé (via email)parce que cela fait 1 mois que l'on a NOA2 et je regarde les timeline des copains copines et voit que NVC transfert les dossiers quand même assez vite au consulat!!! Pour ceux qui attendent encore leur date d'entretien, il est vrai qu'ils sont longs à l'envoyer mais une fois fait la date est très proche, donc ça compense..Il y avait seulement 3 personnes pour des visas "marriage" à l'ambassade hier dont seulement 2 K1, c'est peu..les rdv doivent se donner au compte-goutte. Sinon, j'ai moi aussi essayé de leur envoyer un email mais je n'ai jamais eu de réponse. Bon courage à tous ! L'ambassade de Madrid accepte les documents en Anglais et en Espagnol, etc. Les ambassades acceptent les documents en Anglais et dans la langue locale, toujours. Le seul truc qui peut être un peu utile par la suite, c'est un acte de naissance en anglais ou plurilingue. I was just told the same thing yesterday and my fiance is from Canada, doubt they are a high fraud country. Did you call NVC again and they told you it was sent to the embassy or did you get a letter in the mail? I was in AP about 20 days, I called NVC every day and finally told me on the 26th that our case had been sent on the 24th to Paris. No emails from NVC. Lee received a letter from NVC in the mail today saying that our case was going to be send to Paris (it already arrived yesterday at the consulate!!!!) I asked yesterday if it is just in "Additional Processing" or "Administrative Processing." Just stuck in additional with no timeframe. SUCKS!!! The current average is 4 days to move from NVC for fiance visa and many are in and out in one day! I don't know why some take longer but I feel if I keep calling I could upset the wrong person and they could make our papers take even longer. Oh well, I guess we just wait. I wish you luck and hope the NVC forwards the papers to the embassy soon. Ok lets wait together I don't even call anymore, it will come when it will come, whatelse can we do anyway! Philippines	what doesw my fiance need to bring her daughter here	Hello, That's depend on the Phillipinos laws about custody I guess, I mean when the parents are not married, do they still have the joint parental authority? In Europe, even if you are not maried you do. I had to have the agreement of the father (the letter allowing his child to leave the country) or the family judge's decision. That's what I had since the father did not want to allow his child to leave with me; She needs a letter from the father or a court decision for her interview. Since the father does not show up for anything, it should not be too hard. It is just that it takes times to go to court, so she should ask an appointement to the family judge already. hope it helps. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	May 2011 Filers	NOA2 approved on july 18th, NVC received our petition today, it took 3 weeks to enter the petition in their system, because in fact when they say that they did not receive a petition,its because nothing show on the screen operator, that just mean that they did not process the petition into their system yet. I called friday, they told me to scan a copy of NOA2 and email it to them, wich I did, no answer. So I called again today and the operator told me this time "We just entered your petition in the system today".
