Russia, Ukraine and Belarus	Name on Passport spelled wrong!	I ran into this problem with my fiancé just before filing the 129f. I guess it's the new way of translating the name Maria in Russia. She was approved, pending her criminal background check being sent to the embassy in Moscow. I can't think of a better Christmas present. I'd like to thank everyone who has helped me during this crazy and confusing process. For everyone who is still waiting, keep your chin up and keep positive. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	September 2013 Filers	My fiancé's name was misspelled on the noa2 notice. We called the USCIS to have it amended. I've received strange emails stating that our application is now in the acceptance stage. I've called USCIS numerous times to try and get a straight answer, with no luck. We were approved on October 2nd and the NVC has not yet received our approved petition. Anyone else run into any snags? Have any September filers been able to get their new reg # from the NVC?
