He needs to book for his medical exam now i assume... What all will he need to bring with him to the medical exam? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	VSC !! k-1 fiance visa....	May 21 is definitely cutting it close. Do you know how long it takes for interview appointments to be made at your consulate? My fiancee's is typically at least 1 month after they receive the petition from NVC, which is usually another 2-3 weeks after NOA2. Do the math there and we're estimating about 2 months after NOA2 to interview date. You may want to look into that to avoid a last minute surprise - it's why everyone here discourages setting wedding dates before you actually have the visa in hand. I hope it all works out for you! I should have known but at the time i was thinking there was no way it would take this long, but i was wrong. Luckly, every vendor that i used for my wedding are very flexible with me since they know my situation. Okay so its been 2 weeks shy of 5 months and ive still not heard anything from vermont service center for my fiance's visa..I filed a I-129F back in November,2010..i recieved my NOA1 on November 12,2010 and thats it. Nothing requesting more info, just said it was being processed..yea,the check i sent them was processed quick! lol but as for my paperwork....not so much! Im gettin a little fed up with vermont service center, its taking longer than 5 months now to recieve approval. Going by their processing times, i set my wedding date for may 21,2011..its cutting it close, looks like ill be changing that soon.My congressman was quick to help but he is also waiting on a response from them to find out if they can get mine going since my wedding is paid for. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Time Estimate	I would definitely second that, there are ways to speed up your processing time at London if you are on top of your paperwork. Get your I-134 forms and supporting documents to your fiance asap and have him apply for his police background certificate while you are waiting. He will need this for his medical. You can also start filling out his packet 3 forms (they are available here) so they are ready to go as soon as he gets his LND number assigned. You can also call NVC shortly after you receive you NOA2 to ask for the number that is assigned to him, you don't have to wait until he receives the letter from London. Check out the United Kingdom forum too, if you haven't been over there yet. There are lots of people happy to give London specific advice. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	gettin things done beforehand ???	My fiance is from Glasgow too and he is medical is scheduled for next week, so we're just a little ahead of you! One thing you can also be doing right now is to get your I-134 and all supporting documents gathered together and sent over to him. That way, as soon as he gets his LND number (you can get this by calling NVC shortly after NOA2 is received) he can send in his Packet 3 contents. For London, Packet 4 is basically just a form telling them he has all the required documents and is ready for interview. Getting all this sent at the same time will save you a lot of time, if you're trying to speed up the process. Your fiance will have to make the trip to London for the medical which is a bummer from Scotland! I took the megabus down and back in the same day just to get it done as I had my NOA2 and case number. I see on your timeline: Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between May 17, 2011 and May 28, 2011*. This estimate was right on our's. Here's my situation: my aunt was planning on being the affidavit of support for my fiance, when shes gathering the supporting documents it asked for bank information etc..heres the problem, she has a bank account but she only uses it to pay bills and the rest of her income goes into her husband's bank account which is not a joint account between them both, its his account.
