K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresDublin or Cork??!
Think Shannon also has POE, but never used it
Congratulations

You can fly from any airport you like. Dublin has pre-screening for immigration there, so is considered a POE (a rarity - as you know usually immigration and customs are done on US soil) but you can use any POE you like, and fly from any airport you like. If you fly from Cork then your POE would be at whatever is your first airport stop in the US. Good luck.

Each morning when I open my eyes I say to myself: I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresCo Sponsor backing out im lost and frustrated
11 years how many different company's have you worked for in that time?? Unless you can say 1 or 2 don't talk about a stable industry.
I have a great deal of experience also over 25 years .
I'm not telling him not to go that route, but dont paint a rosy picture for him also. Trucking is a hard life style but it does at times have it's rewards. Just understand what your getting into. It's not for the faint of heart

Many companies have spousal ride along. I think she would would love traveling the country with you. I don't think being with your spouse all the time would cause you to get a divorce. Again, think outside the box if you can for a minute. I am not a trucking recruiter. I have driven for 11 years though. It is one of the most stable jobs out their now. Nobody can dispute that. Please investigate. I care about your bottom line; that is getting a good paying job and being with your loved one. Everything else is secondary. #1 you need a good paying job. #2 the USEM will not accept co sponsors for K-1. You are stuck between a rock and a very hard place. I am giving you a very viable option that would cure your problems. Trucking Recruiter? Please! Good Luck to you and yours!!!

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresCo Sponsor backing out im lost and frustrated
I have to agree. Have been in the trucking industry for 25 years. It cost me one marriage and untold missed life events. Birthdays , weddings and more. Know what your getting into. I don't recommend it for a young couple starting out.

will you stop trying to lure people into joining the trucking industry?
there are as many cons as pros to working in this industry and you never seem to mention those.youre becoming like a second _
___
(fill in the blank
) who always suggests people get ready for their spouse's education while waiting on noa2.
him getting a job right now wouldnt help because he needs to show a steady paycheck for the last year if not the past two years.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresCo Sponsor backing out im lost and frustrated
Tough industry to make a living and it's hell on marriages .
Long hours never home and if your lucky enough to work local it don't pay all the great. Until you get experience and good record

No job, no co sponsor. Ouch!! I recommend getting out of that mess; at least temporarily by joining the trucking industry. Might not be what you really want to do for the rest of your life, but it is the most stable industry known to man. You can be working within 2 weeks and making $35-$45,000 your first year. Your pay continues to go up each year and the other benefits cannot be matched by most other companies. Why humiliate yourself by begging others for their charity? I encourage you to check out the website; Bubbajunk.com. Many companies offer drivers the chance to bring wives along, Who knows; she might just be interested in getting behind the wheel. That would bring your gross income to around $120 - $145,000 between the two of you. Can't beat that and you will be together all the time!!!

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresDid you send in your whole Divorce Decree

if all of the pages don't have the raised seal then you may want to request a copy from the county clerk. I know there have been cases where an RFE was issued because all of the pages didn't have the seal.

Mine was 28 years ago so didn't have all mine. Hoping they will only ask for it at the interview stage. Sent for a official copy but they have to dig it out of storage

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresMay lose job before NOA2 - what to do?
I may very well be in the same boat. But for differant reasons. Strike or lock out is very likely stay positive if it happens. There is work out there for those who truly want to work . May not be what you want long term but jobs can be found

There's a 50/50 chance that I won't be able to keep my job long enough to get the NOA2 and then have the letter from company saying I still work there. I have plenty of income the last 3 years, and even enough income this year. But, is that sufficient? Will they insist my employment be current even though I may very well end up between jobs for a while?
