So I was wondering if this is a good news or just an update. I have read from previous VJ users that it is good sign if you have been waiting for few months (which in my case is 4 months and 3 weeks), not does mean anything if you have received the message in just few weeks from NOA1. Good luck on your process. There is no embassy in my country (MALI) to process K1, she will have to go Senegal to get her visa. Nevertheless, it is going fast. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NOA2 After 373 Days	Congressman, Senator, Ombudsman, Tier 2, Infopasses.............Don't know if any of those actually helped or not..........I kind of think USCIS uses it's own protocol and time frame for cases such as ours. Everything I did kept me from going crazy though even if they didn't really help. Man!!! You must be very patient. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	November 2012 filers	Right ... at least in my opinion and observation (I could of course be wrong, and CSC is so messed up that no one really knows what's going on) ... those of you who got the "alien registration" already back in Nov/Dec, it was just the initial data entry and update. A lot of people got their hopes up but it turned out to be nothing. BUT, those of us who did NOT get the "alien registration" message shortly after we first filed (and I haven't, mine still says "we received your petition, initial review"), will get it a day or two before the approval. There've been many people getting that recently from the December filers. I would take it as a good sign but not absolute! I received the email on saturday, and i have never received this before. My fiancee does not have a job, does it matter?   No she does have to have a job, nor for you to attend it.   Mon Fiance vienne just de faire son interview il ya moins d'une semaine, parle tres peu le Francais mais elle se debrouille, pas de boulot non plus.
