Russia, Ukraine and Belarus	help anyone	You`ll have to wait till you have your EAD card... In Michigan they say the same thing "No state ID or DL without GR". Russia, Ukraine and Belarus	Travel to and from Russia	I`m in the same situation as the OP. Although I`m planning on going sometime late March. And I don`t want to take any chances... I would like to get that stamp from the Russian Embassy with the name change. My concern is.. I`ve read on russianembassy.org that you need to be present in person to apply. Is that true? You have to choose your provider first and THEN choose a phone you like, and you have to choose from what that particular provider has to offer... Not fair.. At home you choose the PHONE you like and then decide what provider to go with.... Seems more reasonable to me.. But may be I`m just still not used to it... A Drive-through anything was an amazing thing to me! My God, people! Most of us have legs... Russia, Ukraine and Belarus	Travel concerns... Again	Hi, I just had to ask this. I know it`s been discussed before but I`m just getting more and more nervous about it so I thought I`d just ask you. I`m a Russian citizen, going home for a visit. Bought tickets (like everybody says to) in my maiden name,which is the name in my passport, have a permanent GC with my married name to show when coming back to the US. My Problem is though.. I did it 2 years ago and ran into some problems. At Sheremetyevo airport going back to the states they couldn`t print out a boarding pass for me because the ticket was in my maiden name and GC in married. I had my marriage certificate and a stamp in my passport showing my married name. And still they couldn`t do it. I was almost late for the flight when they decided to just hand-write a boarding pass for me.I had called Delta last time and they said it wouldn`t be a problem. Well, obviously, it was. Russia, Ukraine and Belarus	Russian Visa question	Hello everybody, My American sister-in-law(Missy) and I are going to Russia in April.She will be applying for a homestay visa. My mom had applied for an official invitation for Missy and I received it today. That`s when I noticed that the dates on it are April 27th through May 26th. Our flight for Moscow leaves JFK on April 26th... It arrives in Moscow on the 27th. Is that a big problem? Will she be able to enter Russia? Where will she be going through immigration and customs? I received an email from USCIS saying EAD card production ordered twice! then I received an approval notice for the EAD a couple of days later... and the following day i received the card itself..... BUT.. the day after i had actually Received the card, I also received another approval notice!!!! Go figure... I couldn`t stop laughing when i first saw it.... so, ok... I was born in the Soviet Union... but.... It`s been Russian Federation now for.... 20 some years..... AND... even so.... It`s USSR! ALL CAPITAL LETTERS!!!! Try spelling Usa like that )))))))) I still have to find out what they put on my Green Card... and by the way.... CONGRATULATIONS!!! Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion	Filing ROC	Hi Everybody! I know there`s a million posts like this already, but it`s time for ROC and I`m having a mini freak-out. My husband and I are living with his parents, so no mortgage, no lease, no bills. My husband is currently unemployed, so we don`t have health insurance and I`m just learning to drive, so we don`t own a car together. Here`s what we do have: - Statements from our joint bank account - copies of my green card, ID card, driver`s permit and my husband`s DL - Statement showing me as the beneficiary for my husband`s IRA - Joint taxes from 2009, 2010 - Hotel reservation in Niagara Falls (for our second anniversary)and my husband`s credit card statement showing payment for it (I lost the actual bill/receipt) - Receipts for the jewelry he got for me for Valentine`s Day and Christmas - Receipts from my dentist showing that my husband paid my bills - pictures from different places I can`t think of anything else.
