Yes, they'll ask for your case number and once they find your name in the system, they'll ask you if you're so and so. Call them and if you hear nothing within a week, send them an email. That's what I did. Philippines	k1 visa approved but no pink slip issued	That's odd. What does it say on the paper? That should have been specified on the form. Just call them and inquire about your case status. My case was under review as well because I lacked pay stubs so I'm not certain about the time frame of your case. There was a girl who got a blue and white form because her fiancé was around 20 years her senior. If the same goes for you then they probably just want to check if the relationship is bona fide. As soon as you submit it, your case will be processed by the Embassy. Call the Non-Immigrant section at least once a week at 3012000 then press 7 and dial 5184 or 5185. Explain what happened and if the physician feels like it was a suicide attempt then you'll be required to take a Psychological exam. I'm not certain if this applies for Canada though. It may differ. I'm sorry about the affair... I have a scar on myright wrist...and i never would have thought much of this until i read this thread. It wasn't from attempting suicide, but it was from putting my fist through a glass pane when i found out my was having an affair? How much of an issue will this be? The physical exam will require you to be in the nude but you'll be asked to wear a hospital gown shortly after inspecting your weehoo! The doctor will just take a peek at your genitals, check your wrists for slash marks and look for tattoos (If you have tattoos like me, the doctor will inspect it for possible infection). The doctor will then ask you a ton of questions. You won't undergo an I.E. so don't worry. Philippines	medical examination	The doctor will ask you about your medical history. I mentioned my thyroid disorder. I saw what she was typing on the notes of my medical report and it said, "Seek an Endocrinologist within one month from the arrival." The same might apply to you but in your case, a Cardiologist. Philippines	cfo question...	Your fiancée can take the seminar either before or after she receives the visa. If she chooses to take it before getting the visa, she'll have to return to CFO to get the sticker and certificate affixed to her passport/visa. If she decides to take it once her visa is on hand, she'll accomplish everything within a day. can't edit previous post anymore...you already answered it in your previous post. so im guessing these are required classes to be taken when the time comes? Philippines	cfo question...	People's Reform Initiative for Social Mobilization (PRISM) and Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO). Your fiancée can have her seminar at either PRISM or SMEF-COW if she's in Manila. Philippines	cfo question...	The CFO guide is included in the package that your husband will receive. For PRISM, the first seminar of the day starts at 10 am followed by a 1 pm schedule. There's no need for him to reserve a slot. He can get the CFO sticker afterwards and wrap it all up in a day. The total fee adds up to Php 650. (Php 250 to be paid for in PRISM; 400 to be paid for in CFO) Remind him that he has to photocopy the Certificate of Attendance which will be issued after the seminar. He should also bring his PDS which is included in the visa package. (I saw ladies with IR-1/CR-1 visas who had that.) The rest of the requirements are indicated on the paper. Load up on the Evidence of Existing Relationship. The consul will weigh his decision on the proof you'll bring with you. You have to show that you have a genuine relationship with your petitioner and that you won't be of public charge. It's best to be prepared! You'll will basically need the ff: Evidence of Existing Relationship chat logs video call logs cellphone logs snail mails emails phone cards additional photos *I included an updated Letter of Intent to Marry. Evidence of Support I-134 3 months worth of pay stubs (This was suggested by the prescreener.) recent W2 (I brought two years worth just in case but the consul only paid attention to the recent one.) recent ITR (I brought two years worth but again, the consul only looked at the '09 one.) Employment Letter *You can also provide supplementary evidence such as bank statements, investments, property leases. Some ladies even bring remittance receipts. DS Forms DS 156, DS 157, DS 156K DS 156,DS 157 + email confirmation letter *I arranged mine into two sets. (Affix your photo on both DS 156 forms.) Good luck! Don't bother squandering your money on expensive folders because you already have a file at the Embassy and the prescreener will just ask for the papers alone. Use an envelope and separate the files with post its or paper clips and label them. I used an expanding envelope for the convenience but a simple envelope will do. I'm still waiting for some of you guys to trot out your mom and her apple pie! Forget for a minute that this law won't pass muster even with a conservative Supreme Court. Instead, keep in mind that this law won't slow down the illegals to any measurable degree, and that most local law enforcement doesn't want to have anything to do with it. They don't have the time nor the resources to care about the difference between I-10 and an I-94. And for some cops, reasonable suspicion = brown skin. As for other delusions...there will never be enough boots on the ground to patrol the border. Americans would not pay what it would cost to secure the border. As for the visa overstays...good luck on that one too. There will never be enough boots on the ground to put a dent in their numbers either. How about a mandatory e-verify system and some heavy fines and jail time for employers who hire the illegals? And for you deeper thinkers, how about NAFTA and the half million Mexican farmers it put out of business? Do you think they are going to let their families starve? OK...back to flag-waving and chest-thumping! 100% A lot of flag-waving, chest-thumping, and lightly racial accusations on what illegals do to neighborhoods, public schools and health care. No matter what people say here, this law wont get passed and sadly to all the wishful believers that want the rest of the U.S. to join in, it wont. I'm an american, a first generation hispanic american, and it's very insulting for the to do so. How dare everybody say that this law enforcement is necessary! They deserve to work, they arent causing trouble, my mom mightve came here illegally, but she grew up in the states, went to school, worked and was treated like an american because she never got in trouble or wanted anything bad with anybody, now she's a citizen, like my dad and I'm proud for the product I am. Philippines	CFO Seminar - Cebu	I attended the PRISM seminar on Monday, July 26 and brought I my original birth certificate and a photocopy of it. I was only asked for the following: -photocopy of passport -photocopy of visa -Php 250.00 payment If they asked for a 2x2 photo and a birth certificate, those are for the BDO form which you are not required to accomplish. Skip the forms if you want to avoid the one hour wait at BDO and proceed to CFO to get the sticker. You can refer to my blog for the process. PRISM messed up the spelling of my name - - - twice.
