Just wondering if anything happened today in California???

Hey Tracymike,

I just recieved a letter today from CSC. They needed more evidence for my I-129F petition. I did recieve an e-mail on 7-2-2008 here is what it said:

Application Type: I129F , PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

I just got that letter today in the mail that stated what they needed, keep in mind I am doing this without a lawyer, so when I orignally sent in the packet to CSC I only sent in the minimal that they told me I needed to send in. Here is the additional info they have requested from me:

Verification of Status: This office is unable to verify the petitioner's present status as a US citizen.
*Sent in my birth certificate and passport copies

Circumstance of Meeting: Submit info regarding the circumstances under which the petitioner and beneficiary met to establish the relationship.
*Wrote letter explaining circumstances under which we met

Last Meeting:
Submit evidence of meeting the beneficiary in person within the two-year period immediatly perceeding the filing of the petition.
*Sent copies of all my plance tickets/itenerary info, photos of Tony and I in Mexico, doctors letter stating my pregnancy and a picture of me pregnant, etc.

If you look at my timeline I recieved my NAO1 on 2-12-2008. Today was the first time, besides the e-mail I got that I have heard anything from the CSC. So hang in there, I know it is such a LONG process. But from what I can see is you sent your petition shortly after mine, so HOPEFULLY you will hear something REAL soon!! If you have any questions please feel free to e-mail me smile.gif I will keep my page updated to let everybody know when I hear back from them if we get approved or not.....I mailed the information today by express over-night, so I hope to hear something soon!! As you can tell I am a LITTLE eager to get this process moving. My fiancee and I are expecting out first child together due September 24, 2008. I would REALLY like him here for her birth! I don't think it will happen, but you never know... I pray every day!! Take care, best wishes!

Hey Guys!

Glad to see people are recieving their NAO2 approvals around the same time star_smile.gif. I really feel like I have some people to relate to as far as a timeline. I just recieved my NAO2 approval via e-mail last night 7-16-2008. I am planning to make my trip to Juarez, HOPEFULLY with no out of the ordinary paperwork delays, the last week in August. I am pregnant and the baby is due September 24, 2008 so I am a little scared to go anytime after that for fear the baby will come early....haha. I am lucky to enough to live in Phoenix, Arizona so I can drive to El Paso, not having to fly. I just had a couple questions maybe you guys can help.

1. I haven't sent in the I-134 form for Affidavit of Support form yet anytime during this process. Is this something the NVC will request for? Or do I just bring it to Juarez when I go, to give to my fiancee?

2. Are any of you dealing with possibly having to apply for any type of waiver? My fiancee unfortuntely EWI to the US twice once, when he was 17, but only stayed for less then 5 months. Then again that same year, this time 18, but only stayed less then a month in the US. He has not been back since. I believe he is not inadmissable for overstaying in the US. BUT, always a but, he tried to EWI 3 times in June 2007 to be with me. He got caught everytime. He believes they were just catch and releases becasue he was never asked to sign anything. He did get fingerprinted though. So don't really know what happened.......

Also, when he was here the first time, 3 weeks after turing 18, he was arrested for possesing a fake SS card and green card (all numbers used on them were fake, not of an actual persons). He never presented himself as the fake people on the cards, while Tony was being searched they found them in his wallet. November 1999. He was charged with a class 4 felony for forgery, but never resolved his ticket. Now it says that the case (I have a certified copy to take with me to Juarez) is satisfied with the courts. There are no pending charges against him. I am not sure what they will say. I know they are pretty easy on certain types of tickets, but that type I am not sure....I thought it was stupid he was even charged in the first place because so many people use those cards to work. That is why he said he had bought them in the first place. Any suggestions or comments? Do you think he will have to get a waiver? If so, what type? I don't if I should start preparing a HSL for a waiver or just a letter explaing the situation of the incidence and his apologies? I don't know. Anything anyone has to say will be much appreciated!! Thank you again! good.gif

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsUpdate after approval?
Are you calling the NVC and doing it through the automated system to see if your application has been recieved? Or are you actually talking to someone at NVC?

I called and called and just did the automated thing to see if they had recieved anything and they said no. Then yesterday I called like 10 times in a row really fast got through, put on hold as I had to wait for the next available CS rep. and she told me that my case had been recieved 7/21, and shipped to Juarez, Mexico 7/22. I couldn't believe it because the automated voice thing was saying they hadn't recieved anything yet... I don't know if this will help but I just wanted to let you know my experience......

Ya, there are so many things they could say, I have read a lot, but every situation is different and it seems like everything is up to the CO doing the interview. Its all up in God's hands now I believe. Thanks again for your quick reply!

Best of luck to you too!! I hope your hubby gets approved soon!! smile.gif
