Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionEarly Biometrics Walk-In in Saint Paul, MN?
Hey, I'm curious. Can you travel outside the country while waiting for the approval of removal of condition? I just booked my flight to go home this decemeber. And I am not eligible to apply for the removal of condition til Sept'11. Can you still go outside the country while your application for removal is pending? Thanks!

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionIs it ok to travel while waiting??

Great! I understand that you usually get NOA1 few days after they received your application. So, there is no need for me to apply for Advance parole or any travel documents and such, right?

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionIs it ok to travel while waiting??

Hello Everyone!

Im not due to apply for I-751 til september '11 but here's my dilemma: I just booked my flight to go home for December'11 for 3 weeks, and i didnt realized that the removal of condition application takes more than 3 months. Would me traveling outside the country while my removal of conditions is pending be an issue? I cannot apply for re-entry permit because I wont be gone for more than a year. Any advise please. Its starting to bug me already.

Thanks!

HEllo!

I thought you should include 2 affidavit from 2 people stating how they knew about your relationship per the I-751 instructions @ uscis.gov?

Congratulations!!! star_smile.gif

You can scheduled for a visa interview and had your medical done. Follow the website and gather all your documents needed for your interview.

Interview Preparation Instructions for Fiance(e) K1/K3 Visa Applicants

Thanks for the link. Yup, thats the link i got from the letter too. Now, my next question is, what do we do next? I keep reading about packet 3 and packet 4, what are those exactly? (forgive my ignorance biggrin.gif) Is there anything else that i have to wait/receive at this point?

Also, how do i go about sending the documents needed? Do i really need to send them to the embassy? or can i just bring them during the interview?
Thanks!

hello Everyone!

As stated above, im a newbie here and still clueless not only about what to do next, but the terms used too. I just received a letter from the embassy stating that i am eligible to apply for visa interview. I was only given a link that i need to check to prepare for our interview. I dont even know what step we are now. And most importantly, what to do next as far as the whole process is concerned.

Help,anyone? Thanks![font="Verdana"]

Hi!

Looking at my passport now, I still have the sticker that you mentioned. I forgot to get rid of it when I had my interview.

Not sure if it will be much of an issue since they didnt ask anything about it.

Goodluck on your interview!

Bluerose

Ic.My question is, should you really need to get rid of that sticker? smile.gif

Hi everyone!

This may sound like a ridiculous question, but il ask anyway. Would it be an issue if i get rid of the sticker placed on my passport? (You know that sticker that has bar codes that they placed on your passport upon entering the USEM premises?)

I applied for a Tourist Visa last Dec 08 and was denied. Now, we have a pending K1 visa application and our interview is this coming July 24th.

Any thoughts will be appreciated.Thanks!

hello, i still have the sticker on my passport when I applied for my tourist visa last January 09, like you i was also denied smile.gif

Ic. smile.gif When you went to your appointment (For the k1 visa), you presented your passport w/ the sticker on it?

PhilippinesHow to Answer these Questions (?)
Hello Everyone! As what was stated above, i have found myself dumbfounded all of a sudden while filling out the DS Forms. The reason why i said that is because this is not the 1st time il be filling out this form ( Ive applied for a Tourist Visa before- not ddnt have a hard time answering all the questions)Now that im applyin for a totally diff visa (K1) i have found some of the questions challenging all of a sudden. (Funny,i know!)

DS 156

Question # 26. How long do you intend to stay in the US?

# 27. Whats the purpose of your trip?

# 32. Do you intend to work in the US? (Ofcourse! - but should i say yes as early as now?)

# 36. Has anyone ever filed an immigrant visa petition on your behalf? --> The reason why im asking this is i dunno if the k1 is considered an immigrant visa?

DS 157

Question # 18. Have you made specific travel arrangements? Yes or No. --> What if my Fiance has bookmarked a flight for me already prior to the visa appointment? Meaning the flight is flexible. If i tick the Yes box, would this be a red flag with our application?

Thanks everyone in advance! smile.gif

PhilippinesQuestions about Booking for a Flight
Ok, This may sound too assuming but the Love of my Life (<-- cheesy,i know! Lol!) has booked a flight back to the USA for me too. (It can be changed or be moved btw) He wanted me to be travel back to the US with him 2 weeks after our interview date.

Also, 1 more thing, i understand that in DS157 form, theres a question there, asking If you have made any travel arrangements and if so, give the detailed itinerary. What box should i tick, Yes or No? I read and came across it somewhere that you should not make any travel arrangements without the k1visa on hand. But, i guess we're just tryin to be optimistic(?)

Any thoughts?

Hi! Quick Question, I came across the cfo website and read their procedure, but they never mentioned anything about the 250php fee. All they mentioned was the 400php for the sticker. Arent we just supposed to pay for the sticker?
