On top of that they have made changes for July and said the lab tests will take more than one day to get the results,  so frustrating,  how do they expect people to make travel plans if we can't get answers from the doctors? Hey! That is the same day that my fiancée's interview is. Maybe they could email/message each other of what they figure out for the medical, then when they go for the interview, they would have a friend to help calm their nerves? Yes, I think there needs to be more Doctors available for this required procedure. "SECRETARIA DE SEGURANÇA PÚBLICA" - It is required that the applicant obtain a certificate from the Polícia Técnico Científica, Instituto de Identificação from each state in Brazil where the applicant has resided for 6 (six) months or longer for the last 5 (five) years. If you have resided in more than one state in Brazil, during this period, you will need one for each state. Although, I've been in the same town after I turned 18, except the years I was studying in the US. If I go to Policia Federal they can track my record right? Or do i have to go to each one of this four places? It will depend on how old you are now, after you turned 18. It is for the last 5 years. The Federal report will cover all of Brazil territories, but if you lived in different states for more than 6 months, you will need a Instituto de Identificação from each. Yes, both of the secretaries seemed rude, and one even seemed to yell on the phone. (secretaries at the medical centers) The one near the embassy seems to be bipolar, she is very nice one phone call, and then seems angry the next. Maybe my fiancée is not be persistent enough. Yes, my fiancée also found out that the information is incorrect saying that all police reports can be obtained online. She had to travel by bus to a distant city to begin the federal report, and after so many days, will return to retrieve them. Her appointment is July 2nd, and she has been trying to schedule an appointment for the last 2 or 3 weeks. They WON'T give her one, they say to call back closer to the time. There also seems to be something going on at that medical center, near the embassy. Something about they were charging too much for a vaccination and got in trouble by the embassy. My fiancé called another medical center, and is trying to schedule an appointment there, because she needs to have a set appointment in order to schedule a plane flight. My fiancée was already stressed before this "headache". I'm looking forward to the review of the interview. If you have any other tips, send them on... I sent my documents for her interview for $23.95, and was told they would reach her in approximately 10 days. It didn't even leave Miami until 8 days later.  Yes, I know, I should have sent the guaranteed faster method...Now, it has been 3 weeks, and I am going to try to get another package ready, since her interview is July 2nd. Now, I try the link that is posted on this site so frequently, and it goes to the IRS, but is not the same as it was when I ordered the transcripts.  I can't find where I can order the transcripts online?? It doesn't sound real.  After all of the worrying, planning, preparation etc., it finally paid off.  God is good. My fiancee seemed to have all of the papers well organized. We had also practiced on webcam, and tried to cover the questions that others had been asked in the past.  They asked some questions about my previos marriage, and kids...My fiancee must have done very well, I am proud of her!! IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Money-Order Check?	If it were me, I would redo the form 130, so that there are no known mistakes.  Dot all of the I's and cross all of the T's. May be ok without redoing, but why take a chance? The lockbox should be good for your address on the money order.  As long as they are recent dates on the forms, and not in the future, you should be ok. I have two adjoining pages with my actual passport information, and one with my Brazil Visa with adjoining page that has been stamped when I visited Brazil. I married a lady in Peru in march, filed for a spouse visa. She then decided she didn't want to leave her family, due to their health. Her visa application was approved in July. I sent letters to discontinue my sponsorship. We divorced, and it became final September 1st. I had been talking to a lady in brasil, some before me and the peruvian married, then again after we decided on divorce. I visited the brazil lady from august 31 to september 20th. we fell in love, and now want to get a fiancee visa. My question is, was it any problem to get the visa, with your situation? My wife had the same case and had to re-take the pics the day of the interview... she had to run out of the embassy because her ears were fully covered. by the way, picture must be with no jewelry of any kind whatsoever . [as an extra note] That is rediculous that they require something, yet do not put it in the instructions. Maybe it is the mood of the consuladate? You mentioned that it was her interview that she needed another picture. The picture with hair over the ears was ok for the initial petition? Then tonight, I began stacking the sheets, but was also going down the guide list, that has the instructions to follow these assembling instructions. I then noticed that my so nicely typed cover sheet showed to stack the letter of intent to marry sheets, under the G-325A, but ther guide has those letters to be placed ahead of the G-325A's. I would have your fiance in the US to call the phone number of the NVC and ask for instructions, and the approval number. I hadn't saw the other post, I tried searching before posting, but came up empty handed... I am thinking that they are so far behind at the Vermont service center, that they have simply neglected to enter it so that it shows up on the website. I will email them, since it has been over 30 days that I called them about it not being entered. Even though they have the petition in their hand, in worries me that mine may not be kept in the order, if not in the system. I can under stand "a few days", but it clearly said to wait until getting the receipt back in the mail, before checking the status online. When I called them before, the first one that answered the phone said my status did'nt show up for him either, but when he put someone higher up on the phone, he claimed that there was no problem with the petition, that it was just the computer not showing it. I tried checking my status 2 weeks later, and it said that it could not be found when I entered that number at the USCIS site. I called the phone number provided, and was told that my petition was recieved and on file, and that it was a computer glitch. Now, over a month later, it is still not showing up at the website. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	I-134 Proof	I am recovering from a broken ankle, and am not able to easily retrieve documents. I am trying to get sufficient documents together for the I-134. I work for the Federal Government, and can print out several documents with my name on them and the numbers requested. I can print out my 3 most recent pay statements, my annual salary, and my thrift savings plan showing my investment accumulation in stocks and bonds. I also have online banking, and could print out my account summary of my savings/checking account. Would that be sufficient? If I read the directions correctly, there only needs to be two of the mentioned proofs included? Do I also need a statement from my boss at work, or would the Employee Personal page that shows my starting date etc. be sufficient? There have been cases where the money has been declared evidence of "paying" ( or being paid for immigrating) for your spouse depending on which way the money has been travelling. It is better if money is kept to siognificant events ( birthdays and Christmas ) usually. Check you embassy reviews carefully to see if anyone has had issues. My Fiancee is the one receiving the money, and also the beneficiary of the visa we hope to be given. Do you still think it would not benefit our case? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	RFE	I received an RFE text yesterday, but haven't got the hardcopy yet. I called USCIS to see if they would tell me what information or evidence they needed. They are not allowed to say. She told me that since they have 5 months listed on the timeframe, that the 13 of this month I could inquire about it being over the timeframe, at 6 months. They received my NOA1 October 12, 2012. My question is, since my case is now on hold for the RFE, would it be worth anything to do that? I am worried that it might piss them off, and then they just deny for spite?? I checked my list twice when I sent it, and am pretty sure that I put everthing in, and signed everything. One thing that comes to mind is that i could not list my fiancee's father, she is adopted and does not know...I have also been divorced 3 times, so might have been a red flag...I am wearing myself out guessing, and anxious to get the hardcopy. From what I gather, depending on how quickly I can reply to the RFE, it can take 2 weeks or 2 months. Any information about RFE's is appreciated. I asked the USCIS person if she thought I would need a immigration lawyer since I am getting a RFE, and she said that she didn't think so, that it would be a waste of money...usually I can't get any personal input from them, but did then...
